The iQOO Z6 Pro 5G has just been launched in India. The company announced the new smartphone during a launch event that was streamed on YouTube. It is the brand’s latest mid range handset, so let’s have a look at its specs and pricing.

Design & Display

The Chinese smartphone maker’s new smartphone arrives with a flat display on the front that also has a waterdrop notch at the top. On the rear, the device sport a triple camera setup on a large module on the top right corner, which also houses the LED flash as well. It sports a 6.44 inch AMOLED display that has a Full HD+ resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 1300 nits peak brightness, and even HDR10+ support as well. The display also comes with SGS Seamless certification and Eye Care Display rating.

Specifications

Under the hood, the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. This chip is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Notably, the RAM can be virtually expanded for an additional 4GB of memory. As per official claims, the device managed to achieve a score of more than 550,000 on AnTuTu, which is a popular benchmarking platform.

This score is also the highest in the device’s price segment. The smartphone is powered by a large 4,700mAh battery pack that supports 66W fast charging support that can charge the device to 50 percent in just 18 minutes. Other features include VC Liquid Cooling and 4D Game Vibration with Z-axis Linear Motor.

Camera

On the rear, the smartphone features a triple camera setup, which consists of a 64 megapixel primary camera, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens that offers a 116 degree field of view, and a 2 megapixel 4cm macro sensor. Meanwhile, the front houses a 16 megapixel selfie shooter.

Pricing & Availability

The iQOO Z6 Pro 5G is available in three storage configurations. So here are their pricing:

• 6GB + 128GB – 23,999 INR (roughly 313 US Dollars)
• 8GB + 128GB – 24,999 INR (roughly 326 US Dollars)
• 12GB + 256GB – 28,999 INR (roughly 378 US Dollars)

The new smartphone will be available for purchase on Amazon India and the company’s official Indian website. Customers can also avail bank offers on purchase, with iQOO even offering the device for an introductory price of just 22,999 INR (roughly 300 US Dollars). The sale begins with Amazon’s Summer Sale event.

After launching the iQOO Z6 5G, the Chinese phone maker is now gearing up for the release of the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G. The smartphone’s specs and price segment were revealed last time, however, the exact launch date was still a question. Now, the company has officially revealed the launch date of the Z6 Pro 5G for the Indian market.

iQOO Z6 Pro 5G Launch date and Pricing

The iQOO Z6 Pro 5G will debut on April 27 in the Indian market. The teaser poster shared by the brand also showcases the design and the color variants of the smartphone. The phone appears to have Black and Blue colors. The design is in line with what we saw in the hands-on video.

iQOO Z6 Pro 5G Specifications(Rumored) 

The iQOO Z6 Pro 5G is marketed as the fastest smartphone under Rs. 25,000 (~$327) price bracket, which confirms the price range of the phone. Some specifications are known. The device is expected to come with a polycarbonate back with a different type of camera island. It has two big rings which hold three sensors. The front design is nothing different, it is the traditional water-drop notch panel.

The smartphone will come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel sporting a Full-HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The screen will have 1300 nits of maximum brightness. There’s a 16MP single camera on the front for selfies. On the rear, the phone has a 64MP main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP macro sensor.

At the helm, the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. It will pack a 4,500mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging technology. The phone will come with Gaming mode and have a stereo speaker setup. Unfortunately, it will not come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. As for the OS, it will boot on FunTouchOS based on Android 12 out of the box.
