<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iQOO </a>just took the wraps off of its latest mid-range smartphone, the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/16/iqoo-z9x-5g-launch-india-specs-price/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> iQOO Z9x</a>. Now if you’re in the market for a new phone, you might wonder how this new device compares to older models like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-iqoo-z7x/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iQOO Z7x</a>. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/iQOO-Z9x-vs-iQOO-Z7x-.jpg?x44794" alt="iQOO Z9x vs iQOO Z7x" class="wp-image-626232" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/iQOO-Z9x-vs-iQOO-Z7x-.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/iQOO-Z9x-vs-iQOO-Z7x--300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/iQOO-Z9x-vs-iQOO-Z7x--768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/iQOO-Z9x-vs-iQOO-Z7x--696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/iQOO-Z9x-vs-iQOO-Z7x--630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>At first glance, there aren&#8217;t many differences between the iQOO Z9x and the Z7x. In fact in most cases, the hardware and software features of the Z9x are only slightly improved. And given that the Z7x is an older model, it might now be available at a discounted price, making it an attractive option.</p>

<p>However, the iQOO Z9x does offer some upgrades that could influence your decision. Let’s go through them in this comparison.&nbsp;</p>

<h3><strong>Design and Display</strong></h3>

<p>On the surface, the phones are quite similar. They sport a sleek plastic build, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a headphone jack – a welcome feature for audiophiles. However, the Z9x has a slightly larger display at 6.72 inches compared to the Z7x&#8217;s 6.64 inches. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/iQOO-Z9x-5G-1-1024x855.jpg?x44794" alt="" /></figure></div>

<p>The Z7x is also a bit heavier at 205g compared to the Z9x&#8217;s 199g. Additionally, the Z9x has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, while the Z7x lacks any form of ingress protection.</p>

<p>Both phones feature IPS LCD panels with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. Resolution-wise, they&#8217;re nearly identical too, offering a sharp 1080p+ viewing experience.</p>

<h3><strong>Performance</strong></h3>

<p>As for the performance, the Z7x is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset while the new Z9x has Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 under the helm.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Both are octa-core chipsets using similar cores: Cortex-A78 for high performance and Cortex-A55 for efficiency. However, it&#8217;s the core architecture that differs between these SoCs.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The 6 Gen 1 has four high-performance cores compared to two on the 695, both clocked at 2.2GHz. On the other hand, the 6 Gen 1 has four Cortex-A55 cores, while the 695 has six.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This means that while you can expect a similar day-to-day experience with both phones, the newer Z9x may have a slight edge in demanding tasks like gaming. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Z9x-OS-693x1024.webp?x44794" alt="" width="378" height="559" /></figure></div>

<p>The Z9x also comes pre-installed with Android 14, whereas the Z7x comes with Android 13. Although there aren&#8217;t significant differences in software features, the Z9x will receive updates for a longer period, with major updates up to Android 16 and security patches until 2027.</p>

<p>Both phones offer similar memory configurations, ranging from 6GB to 12GB RAM and 128GB to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.&nbsp;</p>

<h3><strong>Cameras</strong></h3>

<p>On paper, both phones sport a dual rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. While megapixels don&#8217;t tell the whole story, you can expect decent photos in good lighting conditions from either of them.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/iQOO-Z9x-5G-2-1024x576.webp?x44794" alt="" /></figure></div>

<p>Video recording capabilities differ between the two, with the Z9x offering up to 4K capture compared to the Z7x&#8217;s 1080p limit. The selfie cameras are identical at 8MP on both phones.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Without in-depth camera reviews, it&#8217;s difficult to say definitively which phone takes better pictures. So if you&#8217;re considering purchasing either of these phones, we recommend watching individual or comparative reviews to get a better understanding of their camera performance.</p>

<h3><strong>Battery and Charging</strong></h3>

<p>Thankfully, both phones come equipped with a massive 6000mAh battery, ensuring you can power through the day on a single charge. However, the Z7x takes the lead in the charging department with its 80W wired charging support. That will significantly reduce your charging time compared to the Z9x&#8217;s 44W.</p>

<h3><strong>Conclusion</strong></h3>

<p>While there aren’t many differences in specifications, the iQOO Z9x does offer some quality-of-life upgrades such as an IP rating, a longer software update promise, and a slightly better processor. Both phones are similarly priced too, so unless you find the iQOO Z7x at a good discount, it&#8217;s better to go with the newer model.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo">iQOO</a> Z7x was part of the Z7 series lineup which was introduced in China earlier this month. A smartphone with the same name is also expected to launch in India very soon, albeit with slightly different specifications. Reports have claimed that the iQOO Z7x will arrive in the country in April and will be priced lower than the <a href="https://gizmochina.com/prodcut/vivo-iqoo-z7">iQOO Z7</a>, which features the Dimensity 920 chip, in the Indian market. While we wait, the handset has appeared on the Google Supported Devices list. Here are the details.</p>

<p><a href="https://gizmochina.com/prodcut/vivo-iqoo-z7x-5g">iQOO Z7x</a> has been spotted on Google’s supported devices list with model number V2272A. While the listing did not reveal any details about the upcoming device, it hinted at a nearby launch. Currently, there’s no official confirmation from the brand. However, a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/23/iqoo-z7x-5g-india-launch-likely-in-april-heres-what-to-expect/">recent report</a> claimed the smartphone will debut in India in April and will be priced between Rs 14,000 and Rs 16,000.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="750" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-1-1024x750.png?x44794" alt="iQOO Z7x" class="wp-image-525577" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-1-1024x750.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-1-300x220.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-1-768x563.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-1-696x510.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-1-573x420.png 573w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-1-80x60.png 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-1.png 1037w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The iQOO Z7x 5G, slated for launch in India, is expected to boast identical specifications to its Chinese counterpart, except for the possibility of supporting slower charging. In China, the iQOO Z7x supports 80W fast charging and is available in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants. However, in India, only the 8GB+256GB model is likely to be made available.</p>

<p>The smartphone should arrive with a 6.64-inch IPS LCD panel with a center punch-hole. The panel could support an FHD+ resolution, a 19:9 aspect ratio, and a 120hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone could be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-695">Snapdragon 695</a> chipset with a 5,000mAh battery, LPDDR4x RAM, and UFS 2.2 storage. For photography, it will get a 16MP front camera, a 64-megapixel primary sensor, and a 2MP depth shooter.</p>

<p>Earlier this month, Vivo-backed <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo">iQOO</a> launched its latest smartphone, named iQOO Z7 in the Indian market, which went on sale in India a couple of days back on Amazon.</p>

<p>Now, the company has revealed that the iQOO Z7 smartphone has become the highest-selling smartphone on a launch day in the Indian market on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/amazon">Amazon</a> compared to all the mid-range smartphones launched in India this year.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-5G-Bestseller-Amazon-India-1024x1024.jpeg?x44794" alt="iQOO Z7 5G Amazon India Bestseller" class="wp-image-524999" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-5G-Bestseller-Amazon-India-1024x1024.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-5G-Bestseller-Amazon-India-300x300.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-5G-Bestseller-Amazon-India-150x150.jpeg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-5G-Bestseller-Amazon-India-768x768.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-5G-Bestseller-Amazon-India-696x696.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-5G-Bestseller-Amazon-India-1068x1068.jpeg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-5G-Bestseller-Amazon-India-420x420.jpeg 420w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-5G-Bestseller-Amazon-India.jpeg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>In India, the iQOO Z7 5G smartphone has a starting price of ₹18,999 (~$230) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version is priced at ₹19,999 (~$242). It is available in two color options &#8212; Pacific Night and Norway Blue.</p>

<p>The iQOO Z7, as well as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo-z7x">iQOO Z7x</a>, have been launched in China and are now available for purchase in the Chinese market, starting today. The price for the iQOO Z7x starts at 1,299 yuan (~$189), while the standard Z7 starts at 1,599 yuan (~$233). It&#8217;s noteworthy that the Indian variant of the Z7 is different from the one launched in China.</p>

<p>Coming to the specifications, the iQOO Z7 features a 6.38-inch <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/amoled">AMOLED display</a> that offers a Full HD+ screen resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Unlike the Chinese model which packs Snapdragon 782G processor, the Indian model is powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/mediatek">MediaTek</a> Dimensity 920 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.</p>

<p>In the camera department, the phone has a dual-camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor with OIS and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. On the front side, there&#8217;s a 16-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling.</p>

<p>The smartphone runs the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android-13">Android 13</a> operating system out-of-the-box with the company&#8217;s own FunTouch OS 13 custom user interface on top. It is powered by a 4,500mAh battery which comes with support for 44W fast charging.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo">iQOO</a> has recently unveiled the iQOO Z7i, iQOO Z7x, and iQOO Z7 in China. It also unveiled an iQOO Z7 phone with different specs in India recently. A recent report revealed that China’s iQOO Z7 will be <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/21/iqoo-z7-pro-5g-spotted-on-geekbench/">rebadged as the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G in the Indian market</a>. However, there is no word on its Indian launch date. Now, a new report courtesy of <em>Pricebaba </em>reveals that the iQOO Z7x will debut in India by mid-April.</p>

<p>According to the report, the iQOO Z7x 5G will be priced lower than the iQOO Z7, which features the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-920">Dimensity 920</a> chip, in the Indian market. The smartphone is likely to be priced between Rs 14,000 and Rs 16,000. It is expected to arrive in three colors, which could be black, blue, and orange, as shown in the image below.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="536" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-5G-1024x536.png?x44794" alt="iQOO Z7x 5G" class="wp-image-524580" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-5G-1024x536.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-5G-300x157.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-5G-768x402.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-5G-696x364.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-5G-1068x559.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-5G-803x420.png 803w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-5G.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>iQOO Z7x 5G</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The iQOO Z7x 5G heading to India will pack the same specifications as its Chinese variants, claims the publication. However, there is a possibility that the Indian model may support slower charging. For those who don’t known, the iQOO Z7x available in China supports 80W rapid charging. While it is available in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants in China, India is likely to receive only the 8GB+256GB version of the device.</p>

<h3><strong>iQOO Z7x 5G specifications</strong></h3>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iQOO </a>is gearing up to launch its latest Z generation of mid range smartphones soon in China. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo-z7/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iQOO Z7</a> lineup arrives as the successor to the Z6 series. So here&#8217;s a round up of all details that we have regarding the upcoming devices like its specs, design, and more.</p>

<h4>iQOO Z7</h4>

<p>The new Z7 series includes the base Z7 and the Z7x models. The former is a higher end model and is expected to sport a FHD+ display with an LCD panel and a 120HZ refresh rate. The LCD panel will offer a punch hole cutout for the selfie camera and low blue light emission at the hardware level, eye protection mode, DC dimming, and adaptive brightness. The device will arrive in two color options, namely blue and orange.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="771" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-teaser-1024x771-1.jpg?x44794" alt="iQOO" class="wp-image-523210" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-teaser-1024x771-1.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-teaser-1024x771-1-300x226.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-teaser-1024x771-1-768x578.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-teaser-1024x771-1-696x524.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-teaser-1024x771-1-558x420.jpg 558w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-teaser-1024x771-1-80x60.jpg 80w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Under the hood, this device will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G SoC. This chipset will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 156GB of internal storage. The iQOO Z7 will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery pack that will support an impressive 120W fast charging. The rear is believed to feature a 64 megapixel primary camera along with two 2 megapixel sensors and an 8 megapixel selfie shooter. </p>

<h4>iQOO Z7x</h4>

<p>The iQOO Z7x is a more affordable option in the upcoming lineup but still offers some notable specs. While the exact display parameters are still unclear, the brand confirmed that it will sport an LCD panel that also offers DC dimming, and low blue light output with eye protection. However, it is unclear if the display size will be the same as its more expensive sibling. Earlier today, the company revealed a new teaser for the series, revealing 7 &#8216;flagship&#8217; features. This includes a NFC, OIS stabilization, infrared remote control sensor, X axis motor, dual stereo speakers, WiFi 6, and high performance antennas.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="576" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-lCD-paenl-576x1024-1.jpg?x44794" alt="iQOO" class="wp-image-523289" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-lCD-paenl-576x1024-1.jpg 576w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-lCD-paenl-576x1024-1-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-lCD-paenl-576x1024-1-236x420.jpg 236w" sizes="(max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px" /></figure></div>

<p>This model will be equipped with the Snapdragon 695 SoC, although, it will be powered by a larger 6,000mAh battery pack that supports 80W fast charging. This model could offer either 6GB or 8GB of RAM as well . Unfortunately, there is still no information available regarding the camera on this model. Although, both the Z7 and Z7x will run on Android 13 OS based OriginOS 3.0 custom skin. </p>

<p>As of right now, finer details like expected pricing and full specs are still unclear. iQOO is set to launch both of these phones in China later this month on 20th March 2023. So stick around for more as we will be covering the launch event next month.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo">iQOO</a> is all set to launch the iQOO Z7 series in China and India. The Dimensity 920-powered iQOO Z7 scheduled to launch on March 21, will be exclusive to the Indian market. It will come equipped with an OLED panel. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/13/iqoo-z7-series-china-launch-date-design/">On March 20</a>, the company will unveil the iQOO Z7 and Z7x in the Chinese market. A poster released by the brand today confirms that the Z7 series for China will <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/13/iqoo-z7-china-specs-leak/">feature an LCD panel</a>.</p>

<p>As the poster reveals, the iQOO Z7 series for China will have a punch-hole LCD panel. The screen will have features like low blue light emission at the hardware level, an eye protection mode, DC dimming, and adaptive brightness. It is unclear whether the Z7 and Z7x will feature the same-sized LCD panel.</p>

<p>The iQOO Z7 will come equipped with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-782G">Snapdragon 782G</a> chipset and a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The iQOO Z7x, on the other hand, will be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-695">Snapdragon 695</a>. It will pack a 6,000mAh battery with 80W rapid charging. Both models will run on Android 13 with the OriginOS 3 UI on top.</p>

<p>In a recent Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/13/iqoo-z7-china-specs-leak/">revealed</a> that the iQOO Z7 will come equipped with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The back panel of the device will have an OIS-enabled 64-megapixel primary camera. There is no word on the cameras of the device. It will arrive in blue and orange color variants.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/15/iqoo-neo-8-pro-specifications-leak/">In related news</a>, iQOO is also said to be working on the Neo 8 series of affordable flagships. The Neo 8 will probably have the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, while the Neo 8 Pro could have the soon-to-be-released Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Earlier today, iQOO <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/13/iqoo-z7-series-china-launch-date-design/">revealed</a> that it would launch the iQOO Z7 series in China on March 20. The lineup will debut in the brand’s home country a day earlier than in India.</p>

<p>The series consists of three models, such as iQOO Z7, iQOO Z7x, and iQOO Zi. Out of these, the last one <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/13/iqoo-z7i-launched-as-the-worlds-first-dimensity-6020-phone/">went official</a> a few hours back.</p>

<p>A reliable leaker has now disclosed the key features of the vanilla Z7.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-China-Featured-1024x683.jpg?x44794" alt="iQOO Z7 (China)" class="wp-image-522088" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-China-Featured-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-China-Featured-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-China-Featured-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-China-Featured-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-China-Featured-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-China-Featured-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-China-Featured-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-China-Featured-1920x1280.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-China-Featured-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>iQOO Z7 (China) | Source: Digital Chat Station</figcaption></figure>

<p>The iQOO Z7 for China will be a different smartphone than the one that’s going to release in India. Last week, the CEO of the Indian division confirmed that the Indian Z7 is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/09/iqoo-z7-india-launch-date-specs/">designed exclusively for the country</a>.</p>

<p>Therefore, we are not surprised to learn that the Chinese Z7 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G chipset, as per <a href="https://weibo.com/6048569942/Mx3VXDz1s"><em>Digital Chat Station</em></a>. Further, the device will be fitted with an LCD screen.</p>

<p>For optics, it will use an OIS-assisted 64MP primary camera. As far as memory configuration is concerned, it will be available in 12GB + 256GB option.</p>

<p>Finally, the iQOO Z7 will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery and will carry support for 120W charging, which even the brand has <a href="https://weibo.com/6960161079/Mx4JjsQXv">officially confirmed</a>. On the other hand, the iQOO Z7x will arrive with a larger 6,000mAh battery but will support slower 80W charging. It is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/11/iqoo-z7x-spotted-on-geekbench/">expected</a> to house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC.</p>

<p>For comparison, the iQOO Z7 for India will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chip, a 6.38-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED display, a 4,500mAh battery, and 44W charging support.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo">iQOO</a> is gearing up to launch the iQOO Z7 series of smartphones in India and China. The Indian division of the company said last week that the iQOO Z7 5G, which is powered by the Dimensity 920, will be announced on March 21 in India. Today, the Chinese wing of the company confirmed through its Weibo handle that it will unveil the iQOO Z7 series at 7 pm (local time) on March 21.</p>

<p>Reports have claimed that the iQOO Z7 lineup has three phones, such as the iQOO Z7i, iQOO Z7, and iQOO Z7x. The<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/13/iqoo-z7i-launched-as-the-worlds-first-dimensity-6020-phone/"> Z7i has already gone official</a> as the first-ever phone powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-6020">Dimensity 6020</a> chipset. According to earlier reports, the iQOO phones with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/02/01/iqoo-z7-vivo-v27-y100-y78-monikers-model-numbers/">model numbers V2270A and V2272A</a> that were recently seen at the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/05/iqoo-z7-z7x-chipsets-revealed-in-new-leak-real-life-images-emerge/">3C certification</a> platform will be called the iQOO Z7 and iQOO Z7x, respectively, when they hit the Chinese market.</p>

<p>The above images give the first look at the iQOO Z7 (Chinese variant). As can be seen, the Z7 will arrive in color options, such as orange and blue. The back panel of the device has a dual-camera setup with OIS support. The company has also confirmed that the Z7 will support for 120W fast charging. In all likelihood, it will debut as the most affordable 120W charging phone.</p>

<p>Rumor is rife that the iQOO Z7 will be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-782G">Snapdragon 782G</a> chipset and a 5,000mAh battery. The iQOO Z7x is likely to come equipped with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-695">Snapdragon 695</a> chipset, a 6,000mah battery, and 80W charging. It appears that the company will also confirm the iQOO Z7 and Z7x in the coming weeks.</p>

The much-awaited device is scheduled to hit the Indian shores on March 21 and equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G processor. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is also gearing up to unveil the iQOO Z7 series in China, comprising the iQOO Z7x and iQOO Z7 models. Notably, the Chinese iQOO Z7 is anticipated to differ from the Indian variant.</p>

<p>Ahead of the launch, the iQOO Z7x has appeared on Geekbench revealing its performance along with some key specifications. Let&#8217;s take a look at the listing in detail.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="668" height="821" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-China-V2272A-Geekbench.webp?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-521795" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-China-V2272A-Geekbench.webp 668w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-China-V2272A-Geekbench-244x300.webp 244w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7x-China-V2272A-Geekbench-342x420.webp 342w" sizes="(max-width: 668px) 100vw, 668px" /></figure></div>

<p>The iQOO Z7x appeared on the Geekbench 5 benchmark database, with model number V2272A. It achieved a single-core score of 677 points and a multi-core score of 1929 points. The listing also revealed that the device will come pre-installed with Android 13.</p>

<p>According to the Geekbench listing, the iQOO Z7x will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor codenamed &#8220;Holi&#8221;. Two of the processing unit&#8217;s cores will be clocked at 2.21GHz each, while the remaining six will be clocked at 1.80GHz. The device will also feature an Adreno 619 GPU. These specifications suggest that the iQOO Z7x will run on an octa-core <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-695" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Qualcomm Snapdragon 695</a> processor.</p>

<p>The listing indicated that the iQOO Z7x will be available in a 6GB memory configuration. It will probably launch with other RAM configurations as well. The Geekbench listing does not reveal any other details, however, the smartphone has already appeared on 3C listing with up to 80W fast charging. The battery is said to have 6,000mAh capacity.</p>

<p>The Mobile World Congress 2023 ended a few days back. But brands are still expected to release new smartphones throughout March.</p>

<p>These handsets range from budget to flagship segments. Around 11 brands are said to debut new phones in the coming days.</p>

<p>A few of these devices have already gone official. However, they will be making their way to more markets this month.</p>

<p>But most of these handsets are brand-new. Some of them are even the most-anticipated releases, such as the Oppo Find X6 series and Redmi Note 12 Turbo.</p>

<p>With that out of the way, let’s take a look at these phones one by one.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2><strong>Upcoming Smartphones in March 2023</strong></h2>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>Oppo Find N2 Flip</strong></h3>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-find-n2-flip/">Oppo Find N2 Flip</a> was initially announced in China in December. It made its global debut in February. Now, the device is scheduled to release in India.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="682" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/OPPO-Find-N2-Flip-1-1024x682.jpg?x44794" alt="OPPO-Find-N2-Flip-" class="wp-image-504742" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/OPPO-Find-N2-Flip-1-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/OPPO-Find-N2-Flip-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/OPPO-Find-N2-Flip-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/OPPO-Find-N2-Flip-1-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/OPPO-Find-N2-Flip-1-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/OPPO-Find-N2-Flip-1-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/OPPO-Find-N2-Flip-1-1920x1280.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/OPPO-Find-N2-Flip-1-630x420.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/OPPO-Find-N2-Flip-1.jpg 2000w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Oppo Find N2 Flip</figcaption></figure>

<p>Oppo has confirmed that it will reveal the pricing and availability of its first clamshell foldable smartphone for India on March 13. It is not known if the product will be available for pre-order on the same day.</p>

<p>Some of the features of this phone include a 6.8-inch 120Hz LTPO foldable display, a 3.26-inch cover display, a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset, a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera, a 4,300mAh battery, and 44W fast wired charging support.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>Poco X5</strong></h3>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-poco-x5/">Poco X5</a> was announced alongside the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-poco-x5-pro/">Poco X5 Pro</a> for Europe in February. A month later, the device is now set to launch in India on March 14.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="682" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Poco-X5-Featured-A-1024x682.jpg?x44794" alt="Poco X5" class="wp-image-517051" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Poco-X5-Featured-A-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Poco-X5-Featured-A-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Poco-X5-Featured-A-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Poco-X5-Featured-A-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Poco-X5-Featured-A-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Poco-X5-Featured-A-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Poco-X5-Featured-A-1920x1280.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Poco-X5-Featured-A-630x420.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Poco-X5-Featured-A.jpg 1931w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Poco X5</figcaption></figure>

<p>The vanilla X5 is the same as the Redmi Note 12 but features a Snapdragon 695 SoC instead of a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chip. Thus, it arrives with a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a 48MP main camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 5,000mAh battery, and 33W fast charging support.</p>

<p>The vanilla and Pro variants are tipped to house a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, respectively. Both phones are said to come with triple 50MP cameras and a 32MP selfie camera. The main sensor on the Pro version will measure 1 inch in size.</p>

<p>The duo is rumored to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery. The Pro version will carry support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, whereas the vanilla model will be limited to 80W wired charging.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>Huawei P60 Series</strong></h3>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Huawei/">Huawei</a> P60 family of premium smartphones may break cover by the end of March. It is expected to go official on March 23.</p>

<p>The lineup is tipped to include three handsets, such as Huawei P60, Huawei P60 Pro, and Huawei P60 Ultra. They are said to feature cameras powered by the company’s in-house XMAGE imaging technology.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, they will be limited to 4G connectivity despite housing the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset due to the US ban.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>Meizu 20 Series</strong></h3>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Meizu/">Meizu</a> 20 series may also go official before March ends. The lineup is anticipated to include two phones, such as Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro. Their design will be inspired by the Galaxy S23 series.</p>

<p>As per a new leak, it appears that the iQOO Z7x will feature the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-695">Snapdragon 695</a>, whereas the iQOO Z7 Pro will be equipped with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-782G">Snapdragon 782G</a>. Previous reports said that the iQOO Z7x will have a 6,000mAh battery, while the Pro model will have a 5,000mAh battery.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo">iQOO</a> Z7 series is being teased in China. Reports have revealed that the country will receive two devices, namely the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/02/01/iqoo-z7-vivo-v27-y100-y78-monikers-model-numbers/">iQOO Z7 and iQOO Z7x</a>. These devices have model numbers V2270A and V2272A, respectively. Live shots of one of the iQOO Z7 series phones have appeared on Weibo. In addition, a tipster has revealed the names of the chipsets that will power the iQOO Z7 series in China.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="463" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo-1024x463.jpg?x44794" alt="iQOO Z7 " class="wp-image-520118" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo-1024x463.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo-300x136.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo-768x347.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo-696x315.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo-1068x483.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo-929x420.jpg 929w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo.jpg 1170w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>iQOO Z7 </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The SD782G chip has been previously seen on the Honor 80, which debuted in China last year. A recent report said that the same chip will also be in the OnePlus Nord CE 3 that will be sold around the world.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="768" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo-1-768x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="iQOO Z7 " class="wp-image-520117" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo-1-768x1024.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo-1-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo-1-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo-1-1536x2048.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo-1-696x928.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo-1-1068x1424.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo-1-scaled.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-Weibo-1-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px" /><figcaption>iQOO Z7 </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Going back to the iQOO Z7 series for China, the 3C authority there has recently certified both models. The iQOO Z7x and Z7&#8217;s 3C listings show that these devices may be able to charge at up to 80W and 120W, respectively. Shown above are some live shots of the iQOO Z7 series that are now being circulated on Chinese social media platforms. There is a possibility that both handsets will have an identical design, featuring a punch-hole display on the front and a dual-camera setup on the back.</p>

<p>In related news, the iQOO Z7 series is also <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/02/24/iqoo-z7-officially-teased-to-launch-soon-ois-enabled-primary-camera-confirmed/">expected to launch</a> in India this month. The lineup for India is likely to include two devices, such as the iQOO Z7 (model number I2007) and the iQOO Z7 Pro (model number I2213). It is unclear whether both models will launch together in the country.</p>
