The Itel A48 entry-level Android smartphone has gone official in India. The phone comes with a chance to enroll in the Jio-Exclusive offer. Customers who purchase the smartphone and opt for the Jio-Exclusive offer would be entitled to instant price support of Rs 512, which allows customers to enjoy data connectivity through Jio while phone calls and SMS can be carried out the SIM of any operator.

The Itel A48 has a 6.1-inch IPS waterdrop notch screen that delivers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It is powered by an unnamed octa-core processor that works at 1.4GHz.

The device ships with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. For additional storage, it has a microSD card slot. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.

The Itel A48 has a front camera of 5-megapixel. The rectangle camera housing available on its back has a pair of 5-megapixel cameras and an LED flash. For security, it features a fingerprint scanner and face unlock support. Lastly, the device comes preinstalled with Android 10 (Go edition).

In the press release, the Itel A48 has been mentioned with a pricing of Rs. 6,399 for the sole 2GB + 32GB storage model. However, it is listed with a price tag of Rs 6,999 on Amazon India. It comes in three colours such as Gradation Black, Gradation Green, and Gradation Purple
