<h3><strong>IYX MU68 Pro</strong></h3>

<p>If you&#8217;re a gamer, and you know a thing or two about keyboards, then you&#8217;ll know the brand Wooting. They make what many call “the best gaming keyboard in the world.” They also made the magnetic switch keyboard popular all over the world. IYX followed the trend and then made this <a href="https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/1005006815957636.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2bra" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MU68 Pro</a> magnetic switch keyboard.</p>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/4.jpg?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="1078" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/4.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-662592" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/4.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/4-300x168.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/4-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/4-768x431.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/4-1536x862.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/4-696x391.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/4-1068x600.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/4-748x420.jpg 748w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure></a></div>

<h3><strong>Unboxing</strong></h3>

<p>Let&#8217;s start with the unboxing. If you buy the MU68 Pro, you&#8217;ll get a manual, a braided USB A-C cable, a keycap and switch puller, and three spare magnetic switches. There&#8217;s also a plastic keyboard cover to keep the keyboard away from dust.</p>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/1.jpg?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="1078" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/1.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-662593" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/1.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/1-300x168.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/1-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/1-768x431.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/1-1536x862.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/1-696x391.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/1-1068x600.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/1-748x420.jpg 748w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure></a></div>

<p>The MU68 Pro is a prebuilt keyboard, and comfortably, the strap is even pre-installed. So all you need to do after receiving the package is to plug it in, and then enjoy the typing/gaming without doing anything to it. But I&#8217;m sure some gamers would remove it as the strap is not benificial for actual use, except for looking rather different. Thankfully, it&#8217;s easy to take it off by removing the two screws.</p>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/8.jpg?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="1078" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/8.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-662594" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/8.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/8-300x168.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/8-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/8-768x431.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/8-1536x862.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/8-696x391.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/8-1068x600.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/8-748x420.jpg 748w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure></a></div>

<h3><strong>Design</strong></h3>

<p>When you see the appearance of MU68 Pro, you surely know what I want to say: Just like many Android phones mimicking the look of the iPhone, IYX took a lot of references from the Wooting 60HE+ when designing the MU68 Pro. However, there are some things that the MU68 Pro does better.</p>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/2.jpg?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="1078" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/2.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-662595" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/2.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/2-300x168.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/2-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/2-768x431.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/2-1536x862.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/2-696x391.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/2-1068x600.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/2-748x420.jpg 748w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure></a></div>

<p>The aluminum case, for example, gives it a weight of 1115g, solid and stable. the bottom has the same sculpted texture as the case. The PBT keycaps are also made side-printed. Being low-profile or flashy, it depends on whether or not you turn on the backlit. While keeping a compact size, the 65% layout also has an additional arrow key section over the 60% Wooting 60HE+, which makes it a better experience in some racing games as well.</p>

</figure>

<h3><strong>Experience</strong></h3>

<p>For gaming keyboards, the quick response is what should be considered rather than the typing touch. So it makes perfect sense that the MU68 Pro uses a Tray mount. But that doesn&#8217;t mean it&#8217;s not proper to be your office keyboard either. On the contrary, quite a lot of desk-setup Enthusiasts around me are considering the MU68 Pro. Unlike Wooting, the MU68 Pro was clearly designed with the office crowd in mind.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="1078" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/3.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-662597" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/3.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/3-300x168.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/3-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/3-768x431.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/3-1536x862.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/3-696x391.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/3-1068x600.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/3-748x420.jpg 748w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p>Side-printed keycaps, well-lubricated stabilizers and switches, and internally filled with foam all make for a very thock typing sound. I’m not exaggerating, it&#8217;s about as good a typing experience as a lot of high-end linear switch keyboards.</p>

<h3><strong>Switch</strong></h3>

<p>The MU68 Pro uses an OKT magnetic switch with an actuation force of 35±5GF, and a bottom-out force of 50±5GF. Stem stability is very good, and the dead zone can be set to 0. The minimum value for the Rapid trigger is 0.02. Combined with its 0.3ms ultra-low latency and return rate of up to 8000Hz, it has the solid basis to be a great gaming keyboard.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="1078" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/5.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-662599" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/5.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/5-300x168.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/5-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/5-768x431.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/5-1536x862.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/5-696x391.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/5-1068x600.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/5-748x420.jpg 748w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<p>I&#8217;ve also tried playing a few games with it and haven&#8217;t noticed any contact bounce issues yet. It&#8217;s firmly confirmed that the keyboard could enhance the gaming experience for OSU! and VALORANT players very much.</p>

<h3><strong>Webpage setup</strong></h3>

<p>In addition to the drive software, the MU68 Pro also allows you to adjust the keyboard settings using the web page. There are seven languages for options and all the settings are the same as the software installed on the PC. I really wish all keyboard settings were available through the web page, so I wouldn&#8217;t have to download software for a keyboard that is too much of a hassle.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1920" height="925" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/screenshot-20241129-162239.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-662600" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/screenshot-20241129-162239.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/screenshot-20241129-162239-300x145.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/screenshot-20241129-162239-1024x493.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/screenshot-20241129-162239-768x370.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/screenshot-20241129-162239-1536x740.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/screenshot-20241129-162239-696x335.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/screenshot-20241129-162239-1068x515.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/screenshot-20241129-162239-872x420.jpg 872w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></figure>

<h3><strong>Verdict</strong></h3>

<p>I can feel that IYX designed the MU68 Pro with a clear intention: to make a better keyboard than the top brand in the industry, but cheaper. Thanks to the domestic mature industry, IYX has indeed done it: metal case, better typing feel, and half the price of the Wooting 60HE+. I was using the standard version of the IYX MU68 before the review. Now, looks like it&#8217;s time for a new keyboard.</p>

<p>Now the keyboard is available on IYX&#8217;s shop. You can learn more and buy the <a href="https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/1005006815957636.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2bra" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">IYX MU68 Pro here</a> if you want to try it out.</p>
