The news about the existence of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean was first proposed by Android Police. They say that Google update with build number JWR23B is a continuation of the use of the name Jelly Bean, in which the two initial letters on behalf of the update show updates given name.

This update is said to have been spotted in server log and re-tracked after apparently coming from Google employees. Additionally the update also appeared in a commentary on the Chromium bug tracker by one developer.

Of course this news has not received confirmation directly from the Google. And, they will officially announce what Android version will be launched at the Google I/O that will be held this year. It could be Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie or Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. So what do you think?

Due to the Sandy Hurricane yesterday, Google temporary cancellation of the planned Android conference in Beijing on the 30th morning, but unable to convene the conference, but did not prevent the release of the new Google product.

Google today released a new Android 4.2 operating system via online as well as entirely new generation Nexus series phones and LG Nexus smaretphone. There is small change to support new features of Google released Android 4.2 system.

Android 4.2 continue to adopt the name of the Jelly Bean, and support for tablet and mobile devices. The Android 4.2 has Android 4.1 overal aspect consistent and improved in some details, the new features include:

Shooting panoramic photos

Keyboard support sliding input

Quickly set up account

Gmail support text zoom

Increase accessibility features: finger zooming, panning the main screen, increase the output of voice and gesture mode navigation designed for blind users

Miracast support wireless display sharing

Google Now View Gmail, flight information, suggesting important activities.

Interestingly, Google has added Apple iOS6 system to the panoramic camera feature, since many users use a very high frequency photographed, so the Android system update, which added a panoramic camera is also very necessary.

The upgraded Google Now can greatly reduce the frequency of use of the mobile phone calendar function, because before the advent of the important dates, it will prompt you with right information.

The Android 4.2 system overall improvement is not obvious, but these new features are more practical, the system will be built directly in Nexus 4 and Nexus 10, within the next few weeks, GALAXY Nexus and Nexus 7 will receive prompt for upgrade, As for the the system upgrades date for other Android devices can not be determined yet.

Remember Intel a while back in India and China launched the Atom mobile phone? Although the short term but also to see their figure, but these have been launched or upcoming Atom “Medfield” platform product will soon updated to Android 4.1 “Jelly Beans”.

Intel revealed that they will transfer Android 4.1 this week for Atom platform, but the official version of the launch date is still undetermined, but look at the situation perhaps Atom device is likely to skip Android 4.0 straight 4.1a.

In addition, Intel also said that the next generation Atom platform Clover Trail is developed for Windows 8 in the near future did not let Clover Trail intends to support the Android.

Android 4.1 or better known as Jelly Bean claimed to be more secure and harder from attacker (hacker) than any other Android version. Because this is the first version of Android that meets the Address Space Layout Randomisation (ASLR).

ASLR is a standard security against hackers who are looking for ways to install malware on the user’s device.

ASLR randomizing the memory locations for the library and other data structures, making it difficult for cyber criminals to smuggle malware (malicious programs) on the handset. This report is based on the results of the study a number of hackers and security firms on security arrangements in the Jelly Bean.

“As long as something is not random and ASLR does not work as long as the hacker knew it was there at the same location, they can use it to break into anything,” said Charlie Miller, a security researcher from research firm Accuvant. Miller pointed out, Jelly Bean is the safest Android OS because has full ASLR support.
