<p>The Meizu M6 Note originally launched for ¥1099 (~$166) for the 3GB + 16GB model, ¥1299 (~$196) for the 3GB + 32GB model, and ¥1699 (~$256) for the 4GB + 64GB model. Meizu also announced a 4GB + 32GB model for ¥1499 (~$226). A couple of months later, Meizu slashed their prices by ¥200 with the base model selling for ¥899 (~$136).</p>

<p>Right now, Jingdong is selling the <strong>3GB RAM + 32GB ROM</strong> variant for <strong>¥699 (~$106)</strong>, making it one of the cheapest Snapdragon 625 phones in the market.</p>

Jingdong has been working on using robots in some of its departments just like Amazon. The online mall now has a UAV operations center that oversees the use of robots in logistics and distribution.</p>
<p>At exactly 9:00 AM yesterday, Jingdong delivered its first product using a robot from its branch at the Renmin University of China in Beijing. The package was delivered to a lecture hall a few hundred meters from the store.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-136991 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Jingdong-Robot-Delivery.jpg?x44794" alt="JD.Com Jingdong Robot Delivery" width="600" height="401" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Jingdong-Robot-Delivery.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Jingdong-Robot-Delivery-300x201.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>Jingdong says for robot deliveries, a message is sent via the Jingdong app, SMS or email to inform owners of  their orders. The message also contains a code that will be used to access the robot&#8217;s package compartment to retrieve their order.</p>
<p>Jingdong says the robot has sensors that helps it avoid obstacles including cars and pedestrians and will automatically stop once the obstacle is about 3 meters away. It is also able to climb slopes with an incline angle of up to 25°.</p>
<p>Jingdong says it is also testing the new mode of delivery in other universities like the Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, and Chang&#8217;an University to name a few. Each robot can carry up to 5 packages and make between 10 to 20 deliveries per day.</p>

<p>Other features the retail giant plans to roll out in its robot delivery system include facial recognition, ability to carry heavy items, and the ability to work under any weather condition. Jingdong says it will still continue to use regular human delivery alongside the new delivery system.</p>

Online mall, Jingdong will also be running its own sales. If you are out for a new phone, then you may want to consider the Xiaomi Mi 5s which is getting discounted on the site.</p>
<p>The Mi 5s is the successor to the Mi 5. They have the same screen size but the Mi 5s is powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor and features an under-glass fingerprint scanner up front. The Mi 5s is also made out of metal instead of glass like the Mi 5.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-124971" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Xiaomi-Mi-5s-3GB-Jingdong.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="1365" height="637" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Xiaomi-Mi-5s-3GB-Jingdong.jpg 1365w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Xiaomi-Mi-5s-3GB-Jingdong-300x140.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Xiaomi-Mi-5s-3GB-Jingdong-768x358.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Xiaomi-Mi-5s-3GB-Jingdong-1024x478.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 1365px) 100vw, 1365px" /></p>
<p>The 3GB + 64GB variant sells for ¥1999 ($290) but Jingdong will let you have it for ¥1799 ($261) if you pay in full upfront. If you pay ¥990 ($144) upfront, your discount is lowered to ¥100. Sadly, the discount doesn&#8217;t apply to the 4GB + 32GB variant and the 4GB + 128GB model. The former sells for ¥1949 ($283).</p>

<p>The difference in price between the 3GB + 64GB (excluding the discount) and 4GB + 32GB model is negligible. If you had to pick one of the two which will it be?</p>

<p>However, it seems OnePlus is making things a lot easier as the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-3t/">OnePlus 3T</a> has been listed on Jingdong (JD.com) for on the spot sales. The sale is only open for the 6GB + 64GB variant of the device and you get to choose between the Gunmetal and Soft Gold color options. The new phone called the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2017/01/08/nokia-6-official-4gb-ram-snapdragon-430-%c2%a51699-245-price/">Nokia 6 </a>has received a not-so-friendly welcome due to its use of the Snapdragon 430 SoC which apart from being old is also not as powerful as other mid-range chips and therefore doesn&#8217;t justify the high price Nokia is asking for the phone.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Earlier today, the company (HMD) held a meeting in China where it hinted at a new phone launching at MWC 2017. The hint came as part of a slide used during the meeting and loosely translates to &#8216;See (you) at MWC 2017, February 26&#8217;.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-114850 size-full" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Nokia-Flagship-launch-MWC-2017.jpg?x44794" alt="Nokia Flagship Launch MWC 2017" width="600" height="450" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Nokia-Flagship-launch-MWC-2017.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Nokia-Flagship-launch-MWC-2017-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Nokia-Flagship-launch-MWC-2017-160x120.jpg 160w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">While HMD did not explicitly mention that the phone launching will have a snapdragon 835 processor, the company had issued a statement in the past when asked about a Snapdragon 835 phone that the new high-end chip had just been released and it will need some time to prepare, and will make the announcement when the time is right. It appears that today&#8217;s meeting was the right time.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">It was also mentioned at the meeting that the Nokia 6 will go on sale at 10:00 am on the 19th of January and will be sold exclusively by Jingdong. It is reported that HMD and Jingdong have signed a 5-year agreement giving the latter exclusive marketing rights in China.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">The Nokia 6 has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 16MP rear camera, and an 8MP front camera. There is a 3.5mm audio jack and dual speakers at the base. The phone also has Dolby ATMOS surround sound and a built-in 3000mAh battery. It is priced at ¥1699 (~$245).</p>

Jingdong has officially launched a new tablet called JDtab and it is even up for grabs already on Jingdong mall were reservations have commenced.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/jdtab002/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-113136" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab002.jpg?x44794" alt="jdtab" width="610" height="375" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab002.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab002-300x184.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></a></p>
<p>The JDtab is said to be the product of a collaboration between Jingdong, Meizu, Harman Kardon, Foxconn and LeEco. The tablet comes with a very surprising specs lineup that tend to push it away from the mid-budget category even though it carries a mid-budget price tag. The most outstanding features should be the Meizu Flyme OS and built-in Harman Kardon audio speakers it packs.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/jdtab001/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-113133" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab001.jpg?x44794" alt="JDtab" width="610" height="469" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab001.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab001-300x231.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></a></p>
<h3>Specifications &amp; Hardwares</h3>
<p>JDtab comes with an all-metal body made of high strength aluminum manufactured using CNC process. Foxconn did the manfacturing so the design of the Jingdong tablet, though simple but it comes out sleek. The tablet also comes with custom Harman Kardon audio speakers which supports Hi-Hi sound quality.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/jdtab006/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-113138" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab006.jpg?x44794" alt="JDtab" width="610" height="1025" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab006.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab006-179x300.jpg 179w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab006-609x1024.jpg 609w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></a></p>
<p>The tablet sports a 7.85-inch display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and 325ppi. The sleek tablet is equipped with a 2GHz quad-core processor but the model name is not known presently. The memory on the tablet is combination of 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/jdtab003/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-113134" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab003.jpg?x44794" alt="JDtab" width="610" height="838" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab003.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab003-218x300.jpg 218w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></a></p>
<p>On the camera end, there is a cool 8MP rear camera sensor with LED flash and up front, the JDtab packs a 5MP front-facing camera for decent looking selfies. There is also a large 6200mAh battery crammed under the hood. The tablet also comes with LeEco&#8217;s music/video services with free VIP membership for 1 year. And on the software aspect, it runs on Meizu Flyme OS which is based on Android OS.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/jdtab005/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-113137" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab005.jpg?x44794" alt="JDtab" width="610" height="653" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab005.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab005-280x300.jpg 280w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></a></p>
<h3>Pricing</h3>

<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/jdtab/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-113145" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab.jpg?x44794" alt="JDtab" width="640" height="271" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab-300x127.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/jdtab010/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-113144" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab010.jpg?x44794" alt="jdtab010" width="610" height="441" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab010.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab010-300x217.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></a><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/jdtab2/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-113146" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab2.jpg?x44794" alt="jdtab2" width="393" height="425" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab2.jpg 393w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab2-277x300.jpg 277w" sizes="(max-width: 393px) 100vw, 393px" /></a><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/jdtab4/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-113148" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab4.jpg?x44794" alt="JDtab" width="437" height="289" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab4.jpg 437w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/jdtab4-300x198.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 437px) 100vw, 437px" /></a></p>
