Huawei has silently launched the Huawei P40 4G smartphone in China. The handset is yet another edition to last year’s P40 series that includes phones like Huawei P40 Lite, Huawei P40 Lite 5G, Huawei P40 Lite E, Huawei P40 5G, Huawei P40 Pro, and Huawei P40 Pro+. Here is all the information about the all-new Huawei P40 4G, which is now listed on JD.com for purchase.

Huawei P40 4G specifications and features

The Huawei P40 4G (ANA-AL00 model number) measures 148.9 x 71.06 x 8.5mm and it weighs 175 grams. It has an OLED panel of 6.1 inches that produces FHD+ resolution. It supports a traditional refresh rate of 60Hz. It is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint and face unlock support. The Huawei P40 4G is an IP53 rated device.

The pill-shaped camera cutout on the screen serves as a home for its 32-megapixel dual selfie camera setup. The Leica engineered rear camera setup has a 50-megapixel SuperSensing primary camera, a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto snapper with OIS support. The P40 4G promises 30x digital zoom support.

The Huawei P40 4G is powered by the Kirin 990 4G. The battery size is not mentioned in the JD listing. It appears that the phone could be featuring the same 3,800mAh battery that was made available in its 5G version. The device carries support for 22.5W fast charging.

The exact version of the Android OS that is available on the Huawei P40 is not known yet. The phone has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. For more storage, it has a NM card slot. It appears that the only difference between the P40 4G and 5G is that the latter comes with a 5G version of Kirin 990, whereas the former has Kirin 990 4G.

The Huawei P40 4G is priced at 3,988 Yuan (~$525), which makes it 500 Yuan (~$77) cheaper than its 5G variant. The phone comes in two colors such as Dark Blue and Frost Silver.

The Kirin 990E 5G is a mix of the Kirin 990 and Kirin 990 5G. It is a 7nm+ EUV processor that has the same CPU configuration and clock speeds as the Kirin 990 5G. The Kirin 990E 5G is a result of Huawei tweaking its existing chipsets. It is a smart move based on its current predicament and we expect it to power more devices in the future.

A new Huawei phone that bears resemblance to the Huawei Mate 30 Pro in terms of specs and design has appeared in the database of China’s TENAA regulatory body. The new phone’s model number is LIO-AN00m, whereas the Mate 30 Pro has an LIO-AN00m model number. The only remarkable difference between the two phones is that the newly found LIO-AN00m handset inferior cameras on the front and rear.

At present, there is no word on the official name of the LIO-AN00m smartphone. It has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and its rear has a 32-megapixel main camera in its rear-mounted quad camera setup. A poster of the MatePad 10.8 with its key features and specs is also being circulated on Weibo. The image has revealed that the tablet is powered by the Kirin 990 SoC and 6 GB of RAM. The device draws power from a 7,500mAh battery.

The flagship list is entirely populated by Snapdragon 865 mobile platform and the first phone to lead the pack is OPPO Find X2 Pro with a score of 604,123. The midrange list is led by Dimensity 1000L powered OPPO Reno3 5G. It managed to score 403,607 points.

AnTuTu’s flagship list for the previous month has the OPPO Find X2 in the second position with a score of 600,884. The third place is held by Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. It has scored 600,264.

Today, the smartphone appeared on Geekbench benchmarking platform to reveal some of its key details.

On Geekbench, the Honor Play4 Pro 5G has recorded a score of 751 in the single-core test and 2773 points in the multi-core test. The smartphone is fueled by an octa-core Kirin chipset that offers a base frequency of 1.86GHz.

Huawei had launched Kirin 990 chipset in two versions. The Kirin 990 5G SoC that came with an integrated 5G modem has a base frequency of 1.95GHz. However, the other variant that came without an integrated 5G modem debuted as Kirin 990. It has a base frequency of 1.86GHz. Based on the Geekbench listing, it can be speculated that the Honor Play4 Pro 5G could be featuring this Kirin 990.

AnTuTu, the well-known benchmarking platform for mobile devices released the top 10 list of best performing flagship and midrange phones for April 2020. The top three in the flagship list are powered by Snapdragon 865 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro can be seen leading the pack. The list of midrange phone is led by Kirin 810 SoC powered Huawei Nova 7i.

AnTuTu’s top 10 best-performing flagship phones in April

As can be seen in the screenshot, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, OnePlus 8 Pro, and Xiaomi Mi 10 are placed at first, second and third, respectively on AnTuTu’s list. They have scored 593,769, 582,267, and 580,027, respectively on AnTuTu benchmarks.

The Exynos 990 powered Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G and Galaxy 20+ 5G are placed fourth and fifth. The Snapdragon 855+ powered ROG Phone 2 by Asus is sixth followed by Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 that are fueled by Exynos 990. The ninth and tenth places are occupied by OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro. Both phones feature the Snapdragon 855+. Interestingly, there is now Kirin 990 5G powered Huawei / Honor phone in the list.

AnTuTu’s top 10 best-performing midrange phones in April

The Huawei Nova 7i is followed by Redmi Note 8 Pro in the second spot and Realme 6 in the third position. The Redmi and Realme phones are equipped with Helio G90T.  The Realme 6 Pro and Redmi Note 9S that are fueled by Snapdragon 720G are placed on fourth and fifth positions.

The remaining five phones on the list are all equipped with Snapdragon 730G chipset. The Realme X2, Xiaomi Mi 9T, Samsung Galaxy A80, Galaxy A71, and Xiaomi Mi Note 10 have made it to AnTuTu’s April list of best-performing midrange smartphones.

In recent times, artificial intelligence (AI) has taken a front role in the manufacture of semiconductors for smartphones and other gadgets. AnTuTu has released the top 10 AI processor ranking for the month of April 2020.

The ranking is based on data collected on its database when a smartphone is benchmarked. Thus, the performance ranking for April encompasses data collected between April 1 and April 30. The data is based on the average score of the models and not necessarily the highest score obtained. The outfit did not release the name of the specific model that made the ranking but just the processors. Where there are multiple models running the same processor, data from the best performing model is what is recorded.

The listed is dominated by Qualcomm chipsets as five different processors from the US manufactured are on the top 10 list. The Snapdragon 865 is ranked as the best AI chipset around followed by Samsung Exynos 990. Qualcomm Snapdragon 765/765G, Snapdragon 855+ and Snapdragon 855 occupy the third to fifth spots.

MediaTek Helio G90 comes in at the sixth spot while the Snapdragon 730/730G is at number 7. Samsung Exynos 9825 SoC is ranked at umber 8 while the premium MediaTek Dimensity 1000L mid-range SoC is at number 9.

The tenth spot is sort of a surprise as the Hisilicon Kirin 990 is ranked at number 10. We can’t say why the Kirin 990 performed so badly considering that Huawei flaunts its Kirin chipsets for their AI prowess piloted by the Neural Processing Unit (NPU).

In April, the Chinese benchmarking platform – Master Lu shared a report on the market share of smartphone brands in the first quarter of 2020 in China. Huawei ranked first followed by Honor, OPPO, Xiaomi and Vivo. Today, the company released the list of best performing smartphones for the month of April. The list is led by the OPPO Ace2 flagship that was announced earlier in the same month.

The OPPO Ace2 scored 522,110 in Maser Lu benchmarks. Second came the iQOO Neo3 phone that recorded a score of 483,920. The OnePlus 8 Prov acquired the third spot with a scored of 465,814.  Fourth came the OnePlus 8 with a score of 464,401. The top four are Snapdragon 865 mobile platform powered devices.

The Honor 30 Pro+ Kirin 990 5G powered surpassed Huawei P40 series with a scored of 424,344. The Honor 30 is placed sixth with a score of 421,840. The Huawei P40 Pro recorded a score of 386,083 to gain the seventh position. The Huawei P40 is on the eighth spot with 375,644 score.

The other phones that are included in the top 17 best performing phones in April in China include Snapdragon 765G powered Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition, the Kirin 820 5G powered Huawei Nova 7 SE, Nubia Play 5G that features SD765G, Honor Play 4T Pro driven by Kirin 810, Honor Play 4T fueled by Kirin 710A and Kirin 990 5G powered Huawei P40 Pro+.

Huawei will be launching the Nova 7 series of smartphone in China on April 23. Recent reports have revealed that the series include Kirin 820 5G powered Nova 7 SE phone, Kirin 985 powered Nova 7 5G and the flagship Nova 7 Pro 5G with Kirin 990 5G. The specifications of the Nova 7 series smartphones were revealed over the weekend through their leaked live shots. Two new phones with model numbers HNB-AN00 and NEY-AN00 have appeared on Geekbench benchmarking platform. These phones appear to be the upcoming Nova 7 and Nova 7 Pro smartphones.

Huawei NEY-AN00 – Could it be Huawei Nova 7 Pro 5G?

The newly spotted NEY-AN00 Huawei smartphone is equipped with 5G connectivity. The Kirin SoC that fuels it has a base frequency of 1.95GHz which indicates that it could be fueled by the Kirin 990 5G SoC. This suggests that the NEY-AN00 may be the Nova 7 Pro 5GT smartphone.

The NEY-AN00 has 8 GB of RAM and it runs on Android 10 OS. In the Geekbench 5’s single-core and multi-core tests, it scored 753 and 2899 points, respectively.

The HNB-AN00 Huawei phone recorded 655 in the single-core test of Geekbench 5. The handset achieved a scored of 2326 in the multi-core test. The smartphone is loaded with Android 10 OS and it has 8 GB of RAM.

The base frequency of the Kirin 5G chipset that power the HNB-AN00 is 1.84GHz. It seems to be the Kirin 985 chipset. Hence, it seems that the HNB-AN10 phone could be the Kirin 985 powered Nova 7 5G.

Today, the Chinese manufacturer took to Weibo to share a teaser video of the Nova 7. It showcases the attractive curved display of the smartphone.

The Nova 7 teaser video reveals that it is equipped with a display that marvelously curves towards its left and right edges. It seems to be an OLED display that supports full HD+ resolution. There is a pill-shaped cutout at the upper-left corner of the screen which indicates that the phone will be flaunting dual selfie cameras. It could be featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Yesterday (15th April 2020), Honor, the Huawei subsidiary, had unveiled the company’s latest mobile processor, the Kirin 985 SoC. The chipset is an octa core processor and is 5G enabled. Now, George Zhao, the President of Honor, has stated that the chipset will be positioned between the flagship Kirin 990 and mid range Kirin 820 chipset, and will be aimed at device priced under 3000 Yuan (roughly 420 US Dollars).

The HiSilicon Kirin 985 5G chipset has been proprietarily developed and is the third 5G ready mobile processor that the company has launched. In an interview, the senior Honor official answered questions regarding its newly launched chip. According to George, the Kirin 985 SoC is meant to act as a bridge and fill the gap between the Kirin 990 and Kirin 820.

The processor is a flagship unit and will be shipped with devices carrying a price tag under 3,000 Yuan. The poster released by the company which confirms the Huawei Nova 7 launch date showcases the vertical camera setup placed at the upper-left corner of its rear. A Geekbench listing of an Honor phone with model number EBG-AN00 was spotted over the weekend. It seems to be benchmarks listing of the upcoming Honor 30 Pro smartphone.

The EBG-AN00 Geekbench listing reveals that it is powered by HiSilicon Kirin processor that has a base frequency of 1.95GHz.  The Kirin 990 5G chipset that powers the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G phone from last year and recently unveiled Huawei P40 series has a base frequency of 1.95GHz. Hence, the EBN-AN00 i.e. alleged Honor 30 Pro is driven by Kirin 990 5G.

The listing further reveals that the SoC is coupled with 8 GB of RAM. The phone is loaded with Android 10 OS. Like the recent Huawei and Honor phones, the EBG-AN00 phone is unlikely to arrive with support for Google Mobile Services (GMS).

A new Huawei / Honor smartphone that has a model number of BMH-AN10 has received approval from the 3C authority of China. A Chinese tipster claims that it could be the Honor 30 series smartphone. The handset is expected to rival with the OnePlus 8 series smartphone that is expected to break cover in the second week of April.

The 3C certification of the BMH-AN10 smartphone reveals that it is a 5G-ready phone. The listing does not reveal any details on the specs of the phone. However, it does reveal that the phone may ship with a charger that offers a maximum charging speed of 40W. Various variants of the smartphone have already bagged approval from the Bluetooth SIG body in the recent past. The Bluetooth certification is a good hint that its arrival could be close at hand.

The Honor V30 series that debuted at the end of 2019 had OXF-XXXX model number where “OXF” referred to the “Oxford” codename of the smartphone. The Chinese media is speculating that the codenamed of the Honor 30 phone could be “Birmingham” because of which its model number is BMH-XXXX.

Leaked renders of the P40 Pro PE show that it is decked with a penta-lens camera system on its back. Reputed tipster Evan Blass has claimed that the Huawei P40 series will be made official on March 26.

A volume rocker and a power key are present on the right edge of the device.

The rectangle-shaped camera module on the backside of the Huawei P40 Pro PE includes as many as five cameras. The camera bump on the device is quite pronounced. The squarish lens in the camera setup is the periscope lens that is expected to bring support for 10x optical zoom. The exact configurations of the five cameras of the P40 Pro PE are not known yet. A tweet from popular tipster Evan Blass suggests that the P40 Pro PE could be flaunting a ceramic rear.

There is no word on the specifications of the Huawei P40 Pro PE. It could be powered with Kirin 990 5G and may feature highest amount of RAM and largest storage space in the P40 series. The CAD renders of the upcoming Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro first surfaced on 91mobiles back in December 2019. The renders revealed by reputed leakster Onleaks revealed quite a few key design elements of the P40 lineup. Today, the tipster has teamed up with the same publication once again to bring clearer renders of the Huawei P40. The new renders not only gives a good look at its design, but also reveals its key elements.

According to the latest render, the Huawei P40 flaunts a nearly bezel-less display with dual cameras on the front housed within a pill-shaped punch hole at the top-right corner. The volume and power buttons are located on the right edge. 

At the rear, the Huawei P40 flaunts a triple-camera setup engineered by Leica, along with a dual-LED flash unit housed within a rectangular module towards the left. The camera module protrudes slightly from the rest of the rear panel. The rear design matches with the case renders of the Huawei P40 that were exclusively shared by GizmoChina today.

The render showcases a black color variant with the Huawei logo imprinted on the bottom left corner in line with the camera setup. The device also flaunts a USB Type-C connector on the bottom edge. Also, it lacks a 3.5mm audio jack.

Not much is known about the Huawei P40 Pro at the moment apart from what the company has revealed so far. The P40 Pro is slated to sport a quad-rear camera setup, along with a curved glass display. The Huawei P40 series of flagship phones are expected to break cover in March. A screen protector leakv by leakster Teme that had surfaced yesterday had revealed that the upcoming Huawei P40 Pro will be equipped with a curved display. The same tipster has shared an image that compares the screen glass of the P40 Pro with the likes of the predecessor Huawei P30 Pro and the Honor Magic 2 slider phone.

The screen glasses for the P30 Pro (left), P40 Pro (middle) and Honor Magic 2 (right) can be seen in the below image. As it can be seen, the Huawei P30 Pro’s screen glass a cutout for its waterdrop notch screen. However, P40 Pro screen glass does not feature such a cutout. It is speculated that the P40 Pro will be sporting a punch-hole display design. Also, its screen will be curved on all four sides.

The source reveals that the penta-lens camera of the Huawei P40 Pro has a main wide-angle lens, a cine lens, a ToF (Time of Flight) sensor, a periscope lens with support for 10x optical zoom and a either a telephoto lens with up to 9x optical zoom or an ultrawide lens. The renders show that a large LED flash is also present inside the rectangular camera module. The glass rear of the phone appears to be curved towards the edges. The Huawei Nova 6 5G will debut on Dec. 6 in China. The smartphone is now up for reservations in the home market through the official online store of Huawei i.e. Vmall. The official listing has not only revealed the render of the Nova 6 but also confirmed that it will be available in 4G and 5G editions. A few hands-on images of the Huawei Nova 6 5G smartphone has appeared on Weibo to reveal its appearance in real.

As it can be seen, the new images show the blue colored edition of the Huawei Nova 6 5G. The front side of the device features a notch-less display that has a pill-shaped cutout for two front-facings at the upper-left corner. On Dec. 5, Huawei will be announcing the Huawei Nova 6 series of smartphones in China. The Nova 6 5G (model number WLZ-AN00) and Nova 6 (model number WLZ-AL10) were certified by the 3C authority of China. Ahead of the launch, the Nova 6 5G has been spotted on Geekbench with some of its key specs. It has revealed that it will be yet another phone from the company that will be equipped with Kirin 990 chipset.

The Huawei Nova 6 5G has scored 3,821 in the single-core test of Geekbench. In its multi-core test, the phone is recorded a score of 11,936. The Nova 6 5G is preloaded with Android 10 OS and it has 8 GB of RAM.

Yesterday, Honor had launched the Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro smartphones. Both are 5G-ready devices. The V30 features Kirin 990 SoC along with Balong 5000 5G modem. On the other hand, the Kirin 990 5G chipset that is integrated with a 5G modem powers the Honor V30 Pro. The Kirin 990 SoC has a 1.86GHz base frequency and its 5G version has 1.96GHz base frequency.

The octa-core processor that fuels the Huawei Nova 6 5G phone that has appeared on Geekbench has 1.86GHz base frequency. It indicates that the phone will be equipped with Kirin 990 chipset and it will come with a separate Balong 5000 5G modem for 5G connectivity. Yesterday, MediaTek officially unveiled the Dimensity 1000 5G chipset, its first high-end SoC since 2017’s Helio X30. The ‘1000’ is the first chip in the brand new Dimensity series that’ll feature 5G SoCs. However, a number of media outlets in China raised questions about the naming strategy of the new chipset.

In the post-launch conference Q&A session, a couple of Chinese media outlets asked whether MediaTek’s Dimensity ‘1000’ has anything to do with the names of the existing competitors from Huawei or Samsung. Huawei’s 5G chip is called Kirin 990 while Samsung’s new chip also gets the Exynos 990 name. So MediaTek was asked whether the new chip was named as the Dimensity 1000 to get some sort of a naming advantage.

However, MediaTek clarified that Dimensity 1000’s name has nothing to do with the competitors in the market. The number 1000 is considered special internally, so it decided to call its new chipset as Dimensity 1000. However, MediaTek added that they believe its new chipset is definitely better than Huawei’s Kirin 990 5G SoC.

MediaTek also clarified that the Dimensity 1000 is the MT6889 model that was seen on AnTuTu yesterday. But in that case, we are unclear of the identity of the MediaTek MT6885 model that was revealed a few months back. It’s probably going to be a variant or another model in the same Dimensity 5G chipset series.

Honor has just announced its flagship Honor V30 and V30 Pro 5G smartphones in its home country, which are powered by the company’s own Huawei Kirin 990 SoC. From the interview of Honor president Zhao Ming, it seems that the company is very confident about the success of Kirin 990 chipset.

He has claimed that every 5G chipset available in the market, except for the Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 990, is a low-end one. He says that it’s very difficult to make a good 5G chipset and their SoC has passed Level-6 tests while other have not even passed Level-4.

Zhao Ming also says that there’s a big different in propaganda and experience claiming that all the other chipset makers are just spending a lot on marketing and not the actual technology, which can be reflected in the sales numbers.

Announced in September this year, the Kirin 990 SoC is built with a 7nm extreme ultraviolet lithography (EUV) process. Huawei says its new integrated chip is smaller than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 + X50 5G modem, allowing for more compact 5G smartphones. It is also claimed to be the world’s first mobile SoC with more than 10 billion transistors, making it more efficient with power consumption.

The highlight of the SoC is that it’s also the first full-frequency 5G SoC — it’ll support both non-standalone and standalone architectures as well as TDD/FDD full frequency bands. The Kirin 990 is a true unified design, supporting Sub-6 GHz 5G networks on both SA and NSA architectures, making it the first to do so.

Aside from implementing the 5G modem, another biggest change in the Kirin 990 is the NPU, or Neural Processing Unit. It is basically a co-processor optimized for the sort of vector math which is the lifeblood of machine learning frameworks like Facebook’s Caffe2 and Google’s TensorFlow.

The chipset uses two big, two middle and four little cores to optimize multitasking, with clock speeds of 2.86GHz, 2.36GHz and 1.95GHz respectively. The 990 5G also packs a 16-core Mali G76 graphics processor for mobile gaming, as well as smart cache built-in to reduce bandwidth by up to 15 percent.

Today, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor held an unveil event in China to announce the Honor V30 (Vera 30) series of flagship phones. At the same event, it also announced the Honor MagicBook 15, Honor Magic Watch 2, Honor Flypods 2 and Honor Hunter Gaming Router. The Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro are the first phones to arrive with support for 5G connectivity. The smartphone manages to impress with its topnotch features such as dual punch-hole display, Kirin 990 chipset, fast wireless charging support, dual front-facing cameras and 40-megapixel triple rear cameras.

Honor V30 5G and Honor V30 Pro 5G Specifications

The Honor V30 Pro 5G comes with a 6.57-inch IPS LCD display that offers full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixel along with a tall aspect ratio of 20:9. The display has an elliptical cutout at the top-left corner for its dual front-facing cameras. The fingerprint sensor of the phone can be found on the right edge embedded in the power button. The Honor V30 features the same dual punch-hole display and also comes with a side-facing fingerprint reader. Both phones offer 91.46 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The Honor V30 Pro is driven by the 7nm Kirin 990 5G which is integrated with a 5G modem. The SoC brings support for SA (Standalone) and NSA (Non-Standalone) dual-mode 5G. The Honor V30 has Kirin 990 chipset onboard along with Balong 5000 5G modem for 5G connectivity. It features a slightly larger 4,200mAh battery which also supports 40W rapid charging. It lacks support for wireless charging. The Honor V30 series is designed for high-end gaming. Users can connect single or dual-handed gamepad to the V30 / V30 Pro for immersive gaming experience.

The Honor V30 and V30 Pro feature Matrix Camera technology for systemic imaging technology framework through software and hardware collaboration. The Honor V30 Pro is equipped with a laser autofocus and LED flash enabled triple camera system on its back. Huawei is scheduled to launch the Huawei Nova 6 at an event in China on Dec. 5. Apart from the 4G and 5G variants of the Nova 6, the company is also expected to unveil the Nova 6 SE. This is not the first time the Nova 6 SE has been mentioned in public. Popular tipster Evan Blass had mentioned about the existence of the device earlier in November. Initial renders of the Nova 6 SE surfaced over the past weekend, revealing quite a few features of the smartphone.

Android Headlines shared a couple of images of the Nova 6 SE yesterday. Although the green filter makes it impossible to identify the actual color variant, a quad-camera setup at the rear is prominent. The Nova 6 SE also gets a punch-hole display, instead of the Nova 6’s dual selfie camera setup. While initial rumors suggested that the rear camera layout would be vertically-aligned, the new images revealed a square layout, with an LED flash housed below the unit.

Huawei Nova 6 SE Specifications and Features (Rumored)

The Huawei Nova 6 SE is expected to flaunt Sony’s new 60-megapixel IMX686 sensor at the rear along with a 16-megapixel sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors. The smartphone could be similar to the Huawei Nova 5z that debuted last month. The Nova 6 SE is likely to draw power from the Kirin 810 SoC that debuted in the Huawei Nova 5 back in June this year. 

Powering the smartphone could be a 4,800mAh battery with 40W Huawei Supercharge. The smartphone flaunts a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for additional security along with the volume rocker on the right edge. The Nova 6 SE will likely retain an IPS LCD display considering its mid-range placement. There is no official confirmation on a launch date or price at the moment.

In related news, the Huawei Nova 6 is rumored to flaunt a 6.44-inch display along with the Kirin 990 SoC. The pill-shaped cutout on its screen will be equipped with 32-megapixel dual selfie snappers with 105-degree field-of-view. The rear-facing camera setup of the phone may feature the forthcoming Sony IMX686 lens. The smartphone may draw power from a 4,000mAh battery and may arrive with 40W fast charging charging technology support.

Honor will be holding a launch event in China tomorrow to announce Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro 5G phones. Several leaks have appeared in the recent weeks to reveal the specs and design of the phone. Now, freshly baked leaked images of the actual Honor V30 (or V30 Pro) have surfaced on Weibo.

The images seem to be new since the Nov. 25 date can be seen on the display of the Honor V30. The pill-shaped punch-hole enabled display is surrounded by very thin bezels which indicates that it will be boasting a remarkable screen space.

The rear shell of the phone has a rectangular camera module that is packed with three camera sensors and an LED flash. The volume rocker can be seen on the right edge of the device. Below it is the side-facing fingerprint sensor. Another shot reveals the box package of the device that has been previously spotted. It contains the Vera brand name.

The Honor V30 and V30 Pro are both likely to come with full HD+ IPS LCD display of 6.57 inches. The V30 series is expected to offer 91.46 percent screen-to-body ratio. The Kirin 990 5G SoC will be fueling these phones. The Honor V30 may come with in 6 GB / 8 GB RAM version and 128 GB of storage. It could be housing a 4,200mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.

On the other side, the Honor V30 Pro could be coming with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB storage options.
