At that time, we had only seen this device in TENAA images, as it was yet to be revealed, but today, the company decided to officially announce its existence.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Screenshot-2018-12-20-at-12.27.51-PM.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-228667" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Screenshot-2018-12-20-at-12.27.51-PM.png?x10805" alt="Meitu V7 teaser 01" width="410" height="681" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Screenshot-2018-12-20-at-12.27.51-PM.png 410w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Screenshot-2018-12-20-at-12.27.51-PM-181x300.png 181w" sizes="(max-width: 410px) 100vw, 410px" /></a></p>
<p>The new teaser poster for the Meitu V7 confirms the triple front camera design that we had earlier seen in its TENAA leak. Meitu&#8217;s smartphones are all about selfies and beautifying features, so it&#8217;s not surprising to see that they decided to add three cameras right on top of the display. The company continues to keep its signature <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/meitu-v6/">&#8216;V&#8217; styling on the new model</a> as well, and the back is adorned by leather with dual cameras. Like most other Meitu products, the V7 is also designed to stand out of the crowd in terms of its design. Nothing is subtle about the device and if you take a look at the earlier released TENAA images, the design is quite flashy.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Meitu-V7-Tonino-Lamborghini-edition.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-228666" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Meitu-V7-Tonino-Lamborghini-edition.jpg?x10805" alt="Meitu V7 Tonino Lamborghini edition" width="600" height="1067" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Meitu-V7-Tonino-Lamborghini-edition.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Meitu-V7-Tonino-Lamborghini-edition-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Meitu-V7-Tonino-Lamborghini-edition-576x1024.jpg 576w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>Meitu also reveals that the V7 will get a special Tonino Lamborghini edition. Before you get too excited know that it&#8217;s not another partnership with a sports car maker. Unless you know the difference between Tonino Lamborghini and Automobili Lamborghini brands, it&#8217;s very easy to mistake that this is a partnership like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/06/20/oppo-find-x-lamborghini-edition-is-the-first-phone-with-supervooc-fast-charge-offering-full-charge-in-35-minutes/">OPPO&#8217;s Lamborghini edition</a> or <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/12/13/oneplus-6t-mclaren-edition-hands-on-papaya-orange-delight/">OnePlus 6T&#8217;s McLaren edition</a>. However, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/meitu">Meitu</a> V7&#8217;s partnership is with the luxury accessories maker, also known for its luxury smartphones (remember the Lamborghini Alpha One?). We still don&#8217;t know how this special Tonino <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/lamborghini">Lamborghini</a> edition will come to be, but we&#8217;ll hear more details in the coming weeks.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>

</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Unfortunately, Meitu hasn&#8217;t given us a release date for the V7 yet. So, all we can do is wait for more details. The phone is likely going to be placed as a high-end offering in its lineup, so expect a flagship chip like the Snapdragon 845 on board. You can get more details from the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/11/19/meitu-mp1801-tenaa-images-reveal-triple-front-facing-cameras/">TENAA listing from here</a>.</p>

<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-205422 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/oppo-find-x-lamborghini-edition-sold-out.jpg?x10805" alt="Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition Sold Out" width="506" height="900" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/oppo-find-x-lamborghini-edition-sold-out.jpg 506w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/oppo-find-x-lamborghini-edition-sold-out-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/oppo-find-x-lamborghini-edition-sold-out-576x1024.jpg 576w" sizes="(max-width: 506px) 100vw, 506px" /></p>
<p>The phone comes with a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ OLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display dominates the front side of the phone and it is touted as the world’s first smartphone to come with a screen-to-body-ratio of 93.8 percent.</p>
<p>Under the hood, the Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition is powered by <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/qualcomm/">Qualcomm</a> Snapdragon 845 processor along with 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. It comes with multiple 3D portrait lighting features and Omoji, which is OPPO’s own take on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-x/">iPhone X</a>’s emojis.</p>
<p>The smartphone doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner, instead, it comes with O-Face (3D face unlock) which OPPO says has a failure rate of 1/1,000,000 compared to that of a fingerprint scanner which is 1/50,000. The device runs on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android/">Android</a> 8.1 Oreo operating system with ColorOS on top.
