The Lava Blaze X 5G, which launched in India last week is finally available to buy for interested customers. The phone offers a mix of impressive features and competitive pricing, appealing to budget-conscious consumers.

The Blaze X comes in two colors, Starlight Purple and Titanium Grey, and is available in three configurations: 4GB RAM + 128GB storage for Rs. 14,999, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage for Rs. 15,999, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage for Rs. 16,999.

Launch offers, including bank discounts, reduce the prices to Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB model, Rs. 14,999 for the 6GB model, and Rs. 15,999 for the 8GB model. It is available to buy on Lava’s eStore and Amazon.in.

Lava Blaze X 5G specs:

The Blaze X 5G features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 800 nits, supporting HDR 10+ for better viewing quality. For biometrics, the device has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor, with 2x Cortex-A76 cores at 2.4GHz and 6x Cortex-A55 cores at 2GHz, paired with the Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The Blaze X offers three RAM options (4GB, 6GB, and 8GB), all with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The smartphone has a 64MP primary camera with a Sony sensor and a 2MP secondary camera, along with a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies. It supports various connectivity options including 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

Lava is also focusing on the customer experience with a ‘FREE SERVICE AT HOME’ initiative, offering hassle-free, at-home service during the warranty period.

Lava plans to unveil the Blaze X in India next week. The upcoming mid range smartphone was teased earlier this week but a lot of its specs were still at large. Now, a fresh report recently surfaced that confirms its processor and storage configurations. This upcoming model supports 5G networking thanks to a MediaTek chip. So let’s check it out.

Lava Blaze X Leak: Dimensity 7050 & up to 256GB Storage

The news arrives from a YTECHB report, which claimed that the company is bringing back the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC. Lava launched the Blaze Curve with this chip back in March, and it is now returning on the Blaze X as well. The processor isn’t high-end but it is capable of handling your daily use. We also get a fair idea that the smartphone wouldn’t target the budget mid-range category with a sub 20,000 INR pricing.

The report adds that the chipset will be paired with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. Lava previously confirmed the RAM variants, namely 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB. The 6GB and 4GB RAM options are likely for the 128GB configuration while the 8GB variant is paired with the 256GB model. Another feature that is officially confirmed is support for virtual RAM expansion of up to 8GB. Launch for the new device is set for 10th July 2024 via Amazon India, although rumors indicate that offline availability will kick off sometime in August.

Our recent reports have covered some of its other hardware, which hints at the Blaze X being the cheapest G phone with a curved AMOLED display. Color options include a Dark Violet and a Gray model. Lava has officially announced that the Blaze X 5G smartphone will launch in India on July 10th at 12 PM IST.

The company released a teaser announcing the launch which also gives us a peek at the design of the phone. The Blaze X 5G features a dual rear camera setup housed in a circular module. 

The primary camera will be a 64MP sensor, as revealed by the engraving on the module. And it will be accompanied by a secondary camera and an LED flash.

The bottom edge of the phone has a USB Type-C port, speaker grille, and SIM card tray. The power button and volume rockers are on the right side, while the display has a centered punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera. Speaking of the display, the Blaze X 5G is expected to be the cheapest 5G smartphone from Lava to feature a curved AMOLED panel. 

Lava has also confirmed that the Blaze X 5G will come with three memory options: 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB. Each will come with support for virtual RAM expansion of up to 8GB.  The phone will be available in two colors: Grey and Dark Violet.

Additionally, Amazon has confirmed that the Blaze X 5G will be available for purchase at the upcoming Amazon Prime Day Sale starting from July 20th. Based on what we know so far, we can expect the smartphone to be priced under Rs 20,000 in the Indian market.

While the teaser revealed some key details about the Blaze X 5G, Lava remains tight-lipped on other specifications like the processor, battery capacity, and software version. We can expect the company to reveal these details closer to the launch date.
