Early last month, Lenovo refreshed the Xiaoxin Air 2021 with AMD Ryzen 5 5500U processor in China. A month later, the ThinkBook 14 also gets a similar treatment in the company’s home country. Let us take a look at the specs, features, price, and availability of this notebook.

Lenovo ThinkBook 14 2021 Ryzen Edition Specifications and Features

The newly launched Lenovo ThinkBook 14 2021 Ryzen Edition flaunts a 14-inch FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) LED-backlit LCD panel with an 85% screen-to-body ratio, 300 nits peak brightness, DC Dimming, and TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission.

The laptop sports a metal unibody design and comes in a single Silver Gray color option. It measures 17.9mm in thickness and weighs about 1.4Kg.

Under the hood, it features an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U processor coupled with 16GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD. If needed, the RAM and the storage can be further expanded up to 32GB and 1TB respectively.

As for ports, the notebook comes with 2 x USB Type-C, 1 x USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1 x USB Type-A 3.1 Gen 1, 1 x HDMI, 1 x RJ45, 1 x 3.5mm headphone jack, and 4-in-1 card reader.

Other features of this laptop include a full-size backlit keyboard, 720p webcam with shutter, fingerprint sensor, 360° microphone, 180° hinge, Microsoft Windows 10 Home operating system, 60Whr battery, and 65W fast charging.

Lenovo ThinkBook 14 2021 Ryzen Edition Price and Availability

The Lenovo ThinkBook 14 2021 Ryzen Edition is priced at ¥4,699 ($718) in China. It is already up for sale on Lenovo online store.

As of now, there’s no official word on this laptop’s availability in global markets.
