Lenovo Xiaoxin has launched a new notebook laptop in China. The Lenovo Xiaoxin Air 14 2020 is the next generation model and comes as the first notebook product equipped with NVIDIA GeForce MX350 graphics card. The Nvidia GeForce MX350 is a dedicated entry-level mobile graphics card for laptops. It was released in February 2020 and is based on the same CGP107 chip with 640 shaders as the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 for laptops.

The Xiaoxin Air 14 2020 is equipped with a 14-inch display having a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The display comes with features such as 100% sRGB color gamut and DC dimming. The screen also has a matte design which gives it an anti-glare design. There is equally a front physical privacy camera.

On the processor, the Lenovo Xiaoxin Air 14 2020 is equipped with a tenth-generation Core i5-1035G1 processor and Core i7-1065G7 processor in some models. Both SoCs are quad-core SoCs and have an eight-thread design. The i7 version has a maximum frequency of 3.9GHz and 16GB on the memory as well as dual-channel DDR4 4300MHz memory.

With the NVIDIA GeForce MX350 graphics card onboard, gaming performance has increased by 20% compared to the MX250. Image processing performance has equally doubled. Video processing performance has increased by 2.7 times. However, since the graphics card is an entry-level one, we don’t expect the laptop to be able to handle heavy gaming graphics.

Other specifications include a 56.5Wh battery which delivers up to 12 hours of battery life. The laptop has a function activated by the Fn + Q buttons. It can be used to switch between energy-saving, intelligent and beast modes.

The laptop is lightweight at 1.39Kg  and has a thickness of 16.9mm. It comes with a white comfortable backlit keyboard. The fingerprint sensor is integrated with the power key. You also get two USB 3.1 Gen 1 interfaces, a full-size SD card socket, a full-featured Type-C interface, an HDMI interface and a headphone jack.

As for the price, the Lenovo Xiaoxin Air 14 2020 models are priced as follows;

Core i7-1065G7 version with 16GB + 512GB is priced at 5899 yuan ($838).

The Core i5-1035G1 version with 16GB + 512GB costs just 5099 yuan ($725).  The laptop will go on sale on February 27.
