Lenovo has introduced the 2024 Yoga Pad Pro AI, a tablet designed to balance performance and practicality while integrating AI-driven features.

The new Yoga Pad Pro AI tablet comes with a 12.7-inch PureSight Pro display boasting a resolution of 2944×1840, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a brightness peak of 900 nits. The display covers a wide DCI-P3 color gamut, making it suitable for both entertainment and professional use. Audio is equally robust, with a 6-speaker system tuned by Harman Kardon and Dolby Atmos support, ensuring an immersive listening experience.

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, along with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It promises a 30% boost in overall performance and a nearly double AI performance increase compared to its predecessor.

The tablet’s main attraction is its AI integration, with Lenovo’s ZUXOS custom Android skin offering tools like document summarization, image generation, and a smart assistant. These features aim to make multitasking more efficient. The included stylus provides a realistic writing experience, which could appeal to students, professionals, and creatives alike.

Battery life is another highlight, with a 10,200mAh battery providing long-lasting power. The tablet supports 68W fast charging, giving up to 3 hours of usage after just 10 minutes of charging.

Pricing & availability

The Yoga Pad Pro AI is priced at CNY 4,799 (~$660) and is currently available for pre-order in China.

In other news, Lenovo has also launched the ThinkPad T14s 2024 Ryzen Edition in China, powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 360 processor with integrated Radeon graphics and a Ryzen NPU AI processor. It has a 14-inch WUXGA D IPS anti-glare matte display with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, boasting MIL-STD-810H durability while only weighing 1.3kg.

Of all the tablets announced today by Lenovo, the YOGA Pad Pro is the most expensive of them all, and that price is justified as this 13-inch Android tablet has a feature not available on most other tablets.

YOGA Pad Pro Design

The YOGA Pad Pro is a premium high-end tablet inside and out. Lenovo has largely kept the familiar YOGA Pad design we have come to know but has spiced it up a bit. The body is made from aluminum and a portion of the back is covered in Alcantara with the YOGA name etched on it. There is a 180° steel bracket that doubles as a kickstand and even allows you to hang the tablet on a wall.

YOGA Pad Pro Specs

The YOGA Pad Pro has a 13-inch 2K LTPS LCD display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 100% sRGB color gamut, Dolby Vision, and HDR 10. It has thin side bezels but the chin and forehead are thicker.

Just like the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021, this tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 870 processor and has 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of non-expandable UFS 3.0 storage. There is no camera on the back but the front is home to an 8MP fixed focus RGB camera with a TOF sensor for face unlock.

The YOGA Pad Pro has four JBL speakers ( 2x 2.5W and 2 x 2W), Dolby Atmos, and three microphones. It packs a 10200mAh battery that will provide up to 12.7 hours of video playback. The tablet also runs Android 11 with ZUI 12.5 on top. It supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi 6, and has Bluetooth 5.2 and USB-C 3.1.

A unique feature of the Lenovo YOGA Pad Pro is that it has support for HDMI input via a Micro HDMI port. This allows you to use it as a second display for your computer or as a display for a device that supports HDMI out such as the Nintendo Switch.

There is no keyboard cover for the YOGA Pad Pro but you can purchase a capacitive stylus for it.

YOGA Pad Pro Price and Availability

The YOGA Pad Pro has a price tag of ¥3299 (~$515). It comes in black and will go on sale on May 31.

The Lenovo YOGA Pad Pro is in the news for quite a while now. Ahead of its official release, the company has been teasing its specs and features on Weibo. The world’s largest PC maker has now revealed the product’s launch date as well.

The upcoming Lenovo YOGA Pad Pro will be a high-end Android tablet from the company. It is expected to be accompanied by a mid-range tablet called Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Plus and another premium tablet called Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021.

The official Lenovo YOGA account posted a teaser for the YOGA Pad Pro on May 7 on Weibo. This post highlights the tablet’s display. Above all, the company also revealed the launch date of the tablet in this post’s comment section.

A Weibo user replied to the said post enquiring about the launch date of the YOGA Pad Pro. Surprisingly, the official Lenovo YOGA account responded that the product will be launching on May 24. Although these comments were posted on May 7, the day when the post went live, the incident was only reported yesterday (May 9) by ITHome.

Additionally, we even checked the Lenovo Xiaoxin official Weibo account. But unlike the YOGA handle, this one dodged a similar inquiry in its latest teaser post for the Xiaoxin Pad Plus.

Anyway, going by the teasers, all three upcoming Lenovo tablets, namely Lenovo YOGA Pad Pro, Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021, and Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Plus could launch on the same day (May 24) itself.

Lenovo disclosed recently that it will unveil not one, not two but three tablets this year. The YOGA Duet is expected to debut alongside the Xiaoxin Pad Plus and YOGA Pad Pro. Ahead of the launch, the leading PC maker has released a teaser picture revealing the design of the tablet.

The teaser which was posted on Lenovo’s YOGA official website shows the tablet will support the same stylus that will be used by the Xiaoxin tablet. The stylus is capable of achieving 4096 pressure levels. The stylus pen can be used for writing and also for painting.

The teaser image shows the YOGA Pad Pro will adopt a different design from a smartphone or the regular tablets around that are basically large-size phones. It packs a portable bracket at the bottom which can be used to mount the tablet uprightly on a desktop.

The front screen of the tablet is a confirmation that the device will be a premium model. It adopts a full-screen design with very narrow bezels on all sides. At the same time, the front of the YOGA Pad Pro is also equipped with a full screen with a very narrow frame, giving it a high screen-to-body ratio. The slate equally packs a selfie camera located at a landscape orientation, well suited for video chat.

The specifications of the YOGA Tab Pro had earlier leaked online showing the slate will come with a high 2.5K resolution and support for 120Hz refresh rate. The tablet will also come with four symmetrical speakers tailored towards giving users an awesome audio-visual experience.

The tablet is also expected to be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset and will have support for HDMI input which will allow users to connect it to a bigger display.

There is no exact date yet when Lenovo will unveil the tablet.

Lenovo has officially confirmed to launch two new Android tablets called YOGA Pad Pro and Xiaoxin Pad Plus. We already know some of the specifications of the first model. Now, a popular leakster has revealed certain features of the second device.

According to Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Plus could be Lenovo’s first 5G tablet. He says that it will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC and an 11-inch display. However, as of now, the company has only confirmed a WiFi-only version with model number TB-J607Z.

Further, the tipster also reiterates the specs of the Lenovo YOGA Pad Pro. As per him, this tablet will come equipped with a 13-inch 2K(2160 × 1350 pixels) display without a punch-hole. It will feature impressive speakers and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC.

According to previous reports, the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Plus will run Android 11. On the other hand, the Lenovo YOGA Pad Pro will have the model number YT-K606F and it has been confirmed to run ZUI 12.5 based on Android 11 in China with support for Lenovo One

That’s not all, the latter tablet is expected to launch as Lenovo YOGA Tab 13 in the global markets with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Similarly, the former device could release as a Lenovo Tab P11 series tablet internationally.

Apart from these two Android tablets, Lenovo will be also launching a Window-powered 2-in-1 called Lenovo YOGA Duet 2021.

The world’s largest PC maker Lenovo has confirmed to launch not one but three new tablets in the coming days. These products are Xiaoxin Pad Plus, YOGA Pad Pro, and YOGA Duet 2021. Apart from revealing their names, the company has also teased some of their specifications. But it did not announce when they will be officially unveiled.

Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Plus

This is the first time we are hearing about the Xiaoxin Pad Plus. According to the official Lenovo Xiaoxin Weibo account, this WiFi-only tablet with model number TB-J607Z will run Android 11. The company did not mention anything else about it.

Since last year’s Xiaoxin Pad and Xiaoxin Pad Pro are sold as Tab P11 and Tab P11 Pro in global markets, we can expect this one to launch as a Tab P series tablet outside China. This device has been already listed on the Android zero-touch enrollment page.

Lenovo YOGA Pad Pro

Unlike the previous tablet, we know some of the key specs of the Lenovo YOGA Pad Pro. This WiFi-only tablet will bear the model number YT-K606F. It will run ZUI 12.5 based on Android 11 in China with support for Lenovo One.

It has been also confirmed to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. According to the device’s Google Play Console listing, it is expected to sport a 13-inch 2K display with a resolution of 1350 x 2160 pixels and 240 DPI.

Last but not least, this tablet will be sold as Lenovo YOGA Tab 13 in global markets.

Lenovo YOGA Duet 2021

The Lenovo YOGA Duet 2021 will be the successor to the YOGA Duet 2020, which is sold as YOGA Duet 7i in global markets. It will be identical to its predecessor except for the processor.

This upcoming 2-in-1 Windows machine will be available in Intel Core i5-1135G7 and i7-1165G7 variants paired with up to 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM and 1TB M.2 2242 SSD.
