After floating around the rumor mill for quite some time now, Lenovo’s long-awaited Z6 Pro is slated to hit the store shelves later this month. The Chinese tech company’s Vice President Chang Cheng has left no opportunity to hint at the phone’s imminent launch on Weibo.

Given that the Lenovo Z6 Pro has been subject to all sorts of speculations, more shreds of information about the phone have surfaced online recently. First off, the phone is expected to deliver superior video capture capabilities via its HYPER VIDEO function.

Much to the delight of those who have restlessly been waiting for more details about the long-rumored Z5 Pro successor, Lenovo released the Lenovo Z6 Pro again on April 9th, giving its loyal fanbase a brief glimpse of the phone’s spectacular features.

If recently surfaced reports are anything to go by, the new phone will house only a single camera for illustration purposes. There could one or a couple of additional shooters placed right under it. This setup seems to bear a striking resemblance to the Honor View 20 camera module.

The phone is also expected to come with a complicated HyperVision camera.

As far as the Z6 Pro’s macro shooting capability is concerned, it can break through 2.5cm to 2.39cm. In other words, the phone can shoot a hundred dollar bill at a distance of less than a one dollar coin, making the bills unseeable to the naked eye.

It shows the details of the renminbi, the official currency of the People’s Republic of China in its actual performance. The current distance of the mainstream macro available in the market is normally above 2.5cm, making the 2.39 cm of the Lenovo Z6 Pro the world’s number one.
The newly revealed sample shot using Lenovo Z6 Pro macro mode shows the butterfly wings with clearly visible water drops on it. The phone’s macro mode can come in handy while shooting flowers, mountains, and other scenes.
