The Lenovo ZUK Edge was launched via an online conference and even though the company didn&#8217;t roll out the drums to herald the launch of another sleek flagship, the ZUK Edge&#8217;s specs lineup and spectacular design speaks volume about the smartphone.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/lenovo-zuk-edge-9/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-111975" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-9.jpg?x10805" alt="zuk edge" width="690" height="460" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-9.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-9-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Design</h3>
<p>The ZUK Edge adopts its own design as it looks nothing like the Xiaomi Mi Mix, the screen-to-body ratio isn&#8217;t as high as was found on the Mi Mix as the Edge comes with a physical home button and other features which differentiate both high-end smartphones. The display only accounts for 86.4% of the entire screen, according to the official statement and that is amazing. The device also has a dimension of 142.9 x 74.5 x 7.68 mm.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/lenovo-zuk-edge-5/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-111971" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-5.jpg?x10805" alt="lenovo zuk edge" width="533" height="800" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-5.jpg 533w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-5-200x300.jpg 200w" sizes="(max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px" /></a></p>
<p>There is a front home button under which is embedded the fingerprint scanner aboard the ZUK Edge. It is Lenovo&#8217;s first smartphone to use an underglass fingerprint sensor. Just as we saw in leaks, the ZUK Edge comes in black and white color variants only and of the two, the black color has a more rugged, and sophisticated look. Both variants adopt an all-metal body build with 2.5D glass on top. The screen is a flat one despite the device being called the ZUK Edge.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/lenovo-zuk-edge-4/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-111970" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-4.jpg?x10805" alt="lenovo zuk edge" width="690" height="460" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-4.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-4-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<h3>Specification &#8211; Lenovo ZUK Edge</h3>
<p>Taking a look at the specs, the Lenovo ZUK Edge sports a 5.5-inch 1080 pixels display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.35GHz. The device comes in two storage versions, one having 4GB of RAM and another with 6GB of RAM. Both versions feature 64GB of internal memory which is likely expandable.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/lenovo-zuk-edge-7/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-111973" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-7.jpg?x10805" alt="lenovo-zuk-edge-7" width="690" height="442" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-7.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-7-300x192.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<p>Camera wise, the ZUK Edge comes with a decent camera setup as the device features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash. There is also an ample 8MP front-facing camera for cool selfies. The ZUK Edge also has under its hood, a 3,100mAh battery and has support for dual SIM / dual standby as well as full network support.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/lenovo-zuk-edge-8/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-111974" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-8.jpg?x10805" alt="lenovo-zuk-edge-8" width="690" height="460" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-8.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-8-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<p>In addition, Lenovo also launched a ZUK Edge L Model with a customized gift box. The L model is a customized version of the ZUK Edge with a Lee Min Ho themed gift box. In case you don&#8217;t know, Lee min Ho is a popular South Korean actor.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>

The VP today shared yet another teaser containing the black variant that again reveals the Lenovo ZUK Edge will officially go on sale starting from Wednesday, December 7, 2016, on Jingdong (JD.com). He had earlier shared a similar teaser containing the white version.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/lenovo-zuk-edge-official/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-109724" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-official.jpg?x10805" alt="lenovo zuk edge" width="1024" height="1820" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-official.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-official-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-official-768x1365.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-official-576x1024.jpg 576w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></a></p>
<p>From all indications, there won&#8217;t be an official press conference where the ZUK Edge would be unveiled but rather the sleek device would be released directly via e-commerce website Jingdong in China. There is no price tag attached to the device just yet but it is believed that when it is launched, a price tag will be ascribed to it. One unique thing to note from the teased image announcing the device is that the black version looks like the Galaxy Note 7 in design and sleek looks. That isn&#8217;t very obvious, though.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/lenovo-zuk-edge-official2/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-109725" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-official2.jpg?x10805" alt="lenovo-zuk-edge-official2" width="1024" height="1820" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-official2.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-official2-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-official2-768x1365.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/lenovo-zuk-edge-official2-576x1024.jpg 576w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></a></p>

<p>As a reminder, the Lenovo ZUK Edge will launch with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a 2.35GHz Snapdragon 821 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. It will also join the ranks of Huawei’s Mate 9 to be one of the few Chinese phones launching with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. In adition, the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/product/lenovo-zuk-edge/">ZUK Edge</a> will have a 13MP primary camera on the back, and an 8MP sensor in front for selfies. The phone will be powered by a 3000mAh battery.</p>

<p class="poDtl__tle">The render reveals once again the design of the device, with a large display occupying about 90% of the screen and very narrow bezels at the edges. There is a home button, though, just under the display. The home button is touted as housing the fingerprint sensor which is said to be a non-aperture sensor in that it might be under the glass and would be flat.</p>
<p class="poDtl__tle"><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/zuk-edge-render2/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-109537" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/zuk-edge-render2.jpg?x10805" alt="zuk edge" width="610" height="407" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/zuk-edge-render2.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/zuk-edge-render2-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></a></p>
<p class="poDtl__tle">The leak also reveals the Lenovo ZUK Edge would sport a 5.5-inch 1080 pixels display, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset which would be backed by 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is also a 3000mAh built-in battery on the device with support for fast charging technology and a USB Type-C interface. Further, the ZUK Edge is listed as packing a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The device is also given a dimension of 142.9 x 74.5 x 7.68 mm and weight of 160 g.</p>

<p> Slashleaks also leaked the likely price of the ZUK Edge as 2,699 Yuan ($388). The device will drop any moment from now, so we&#8217;ll wait to see the official price.</p>
