He also added photos taken using the iPhone 5S, Smartisan T1, LG G3, SM-G906K (Galaxy S5 high-end version), and nubia Z7 mini for comparison. Although this photos are compressed, they are still worth analyzing.

According to China Mobile, the camera that the 4.7-inch edition of the iPhone 6 uses still has a disappointing 8mp but has better photo quality than the similarly 8mp camera of the iPhone 5S.

Vivo is famous Chinese manufacturer which is not currently international brand. It introduced flagship smartphone in its home market i.e., China. The Vivo xShot, comes with affordable price and high specs. On the other hand, famous international brand LG launched its flagship smartphone LG G3. Let’s compare these two phones and find out who knocks out the other.

The LG G3’s display is 5.5 inch. The Vivo xShot has 5.3-inch display. Both the phones have IPS LCD display. The resolution of G3 is 2560 x 1440 pixels. Whereas the Vivo xShot has resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The pixel densit of LG G3 is 534ppi compared to 424ppi of xShot.

The LG G3 is designed to look like having a metallic body. Although it is plastic, but the effect is convincingly successful. It has a rear button which has been made flatter as compared to its predecessor G2 which had a protruding button. The dimensions of the phone are 146.3×74.6×8.9 mm. LG G3 weighs 149g, so it is lighter than Oppo Find 7.

When it comes to Oppo, it is all about sleekness. The mobile sports a sleek body and finish. The mobile phone has carbon fiber back and alloy of titanium and aluminum frame. The frame is available in two colors white and ‘midnight’. The dimensions of Find 7 are: 152.6x75x9.2mm. The phone weighs  171g which may be slightly heavier for some users.

 LG G3 comes with ridiculously high resolution with so many pixels cramped into medium sized mobile phone. It sports 5.5 inch Quad HD, 2560×1440 IPS LCD Screen with 538 ppi pixel density. The Oppo Find has exactly the same resolution. The stunning  5.5 QHD gives Oppo Find 7 gives equally fascinating Display experience as LG G3. Pixel density is also same i.e., 538 ppi.

let’s look what LG has hidden under its hood. The LG G3 is powered by Snapdragon 801 processor with a speed of 2.5 Ghz. The RAM is either 2 or 3 GB depending on the type of model; that is 16GB storage model and 32GB respectively. The Oppo Find 7 rivals the likes of LG, HTC, Motorola with quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC running at speed of 2.5 Ghz, with 3GB of RAM.

Oppo Find 7 has 13 MP rear camera. With f/2.0 aperture little help from software it can take pictures up to 50 MP. It is not slowed when it comes to video. It can record 4K video 30fps.  It has another front camera for video chat or closeup selfies.  The LG G3 has same MP back camera i.e. 13 MP. The front shooter rather falls short with 2 MP camera. Oppo find seems to beat LG G3 in this category.

The LG G3 has removable battery of 3,000mAh. Which make it a match for its rival flagship phones ,, HTC, Samsung. The Oppo Find 7 has similar 3,000mAh battery which could be recharged to 75 percent using VOOC Charging System.

The Oppo Find 7 provides connectivity through Bluetooth 4.0 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi direct, NFC and plus LTE. This is a big leap for Oppo. The LG G3 is supportive of 3G, 4G, LTE Advance, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0. It has microSD slot to extend the memory to 128GB.

LG G3 is priced at $925 or £550 making it at par with other high spec phones. Oppo Find 7 has price tag of €400 or $544. The Chinese phone beat the LG G3 in the arena of price.  Oppo has upper hand as it is more famous as compared to Opp, which is a new comer in the global market.

The verdict is LG is claiming the battle with brand prestige. Oppo Find 7, on the other hand has put up a decent fight with real high spec muscles.

LG G3 was released 2 days ago. The overall level of hardware is now top of its class with its shape and with last year’s LG G2 there has been little change compared to the 5.5-inch UHD (2k) screen becoming the biggest improvement on the smartphone. According to market research firm’s Strategy Analytics statistics, LG smartphone sales last year totaled 48 million, which has made great progress compared to the previous years. The market share reached 4.8%, which made a significant contribution from the G2 smartphone. Will this trend continue with the G3? Does it have the ability to obtain the same good results? We look into the smartphones and make a prediction.

Where is the innovation in the G series?

LG has been suppressed with Samsung LG G2, but we have to admit that this year’s 2013 model, as the flagship product, does have a unique sense of innovation, in addition to the mainstream high-end configuration (except for its slim appearance), the proportion of the ultra-high screen (the LG G2 side in front of the phone) and having no physical buttons (except for the volume and lock screen buttons moving to the back of the fuselage) were done to largely facilitate the user’s one-hand operation. Meanwhile, G2 supports KnockON (double tap the screen to open the lock screen), QuickRemote (remote appliances), Slide Aside (three-finger slide which helps with multi-tasking) and other innovative features which the majority of consumer’s recognize as features they want.

What improvements were made to G3?

First of all, the 2k screen, as the biggest improvement made cannot help but to produce the “gimmick” problem. After all, more and more users have gradually become more rational with their purchases. The 2k and 1080p screen provides more than ample and delicate quality. However, users could not be as willing to place their money on features that are not affordable (besides the high resolution life), heating problems and perhaps unnecessary annoyance to the user.

Secondly, in the photography area, LG has introduced the first laser auto focus feature. This laser helps to measure any depth information available, which helps to reduce focus time. Its functions and the HTC M8 secondary camera’s depth of field have the same purpose. As to how effective it is, it is still unknown. Only after the actual experience can one make a good judgment call. Additionally, the rear camera is still using the camera’s 13 million pixel sensor, optical image stabilization function and the front is using its 2.1 million pixel camera. For the self-enthusiast, an interesting feature is as long as the user has a clenched fist in front of the camera can automatically start the self-timer.

Again, the G3’s and G2’s power button is exactly the same. I believe that in a good one-handed operation it is not just about having the power button moved to the back, yet its solution can be considered reasonable. When using the G2, I found in a short time, I got pulled back into the operation of the original power button derived based on the familiarity. It can be really simple and not so simple at the same time so it varies.

In addition, the G3 launch has several good intelligence applications. Including:

SmartCleaning which intelligently clears the system cache, SmartTips, which displays unused features tips, Content Lock, which hides the contents, and Kill Switch, which is the remote lock functionality. It is worth mentioning that LG also has the exercise and calorie consumption application, LG Health, to calculate the user’s health class. I believe that these features are designed to work with LG Smart watches.

Finally, G3 provides a selection of two main configurations, 2GB RAM/16GB ROM and 3GB RAM/32GB ROM, although no difference in appearance between the two can be distinguished. Also, the size of the memory can be said to better provided to LG ‘ Pro ‘version users.

Summary

Even with its 2k screen and simple design philosophy, G3 does not seem to be more attractive to consumers, compared with the visual impact of G2. Also, G3, with its G2 inherited design philosophy and adding a laser focus function, did not have a huge impact. I see it as more of a G2 maxed out version instead of a new smartphone. The G3 smartphone also relies on smart watches to achieve some of its new features, such as the LG Health application.

Talking about the brand, LG has been Samsung’s repression for awhile. The goal of achieving record-breaking sales, even with Samsung S5’s condemning release, Samsung has its advantages through its own industrial chain advantage, product features and its establishment of a strong brand in marketing, before today’s brand stickiness. The brands are inextricably linked and there is a gap between LG and Samsung in that respect. S5, as the competitive flagship product, and G3 also need to continue to catch up in terms of brand marketing.

The phone is comes with 5.5-inch UHD ultra-high-definition screen is the biggest selling point of this phone. The new G3 has more larger screen comparing to LG G2, while the LG G2 has 5.2 inches screen size, the new LG G3 is comes with 5.5 inch screen with 2560 x 1440, and this phone comes with 2K screen.

LG G3-screen display is very delicate, and the 1080P has obvious advantages. But thanks to ultra-narrow frame design, G3 has only 146.3 mm long, 74.6 mm wide and 9.15 mm thickness.

G3 is equipped with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM 8974 processor, that running on 2.3GHz clock-speed, sports with 2GB of RAM and has 16GB of storage space as well as two versions that comes with 3GB of RAM  and 32GB of internal storage. The phone is also suport for microSD card and the LG claims to support up to 2TB memory expansion, but while for now there no micro SD card that has 2TB of capacity.

The LG G3 camera function is a major bright spot. The phone si coupled with 13 megapixel rear camera and 2.1 megapixel front facing camera. The main camera is also has optical image stabilization features, similar to the Nokia’s high-end flagship smartphone. Join laser focusing system , making it easier for low-light capture. In the actual shooting, the user need only click on the screen to complete the shooting. G3 were also self-designed gestures camera.

At the press conference, LG has design philosophy; “Simple is the New Smart” concept. “The smartest innovation in a fast evolving smartphone market is creating harmony between advanced technology and a simplified user experience,”.

At the bottom of this phone is MicroUSB interface and headphone jack. Showing slightly curved back includes a laser focus, the main camera and dual flash, volume control keys, and the key to open the microphone hole. LG G3 uses 3,000 mAh removable battery. Through the right side of the fuselage recess, you can easily open the back cover to replace the SIM card and battery.

LG G3 is also comes with built-in LG application, LG said that along with the state-of-the-art hardware, G3 will also have smarter and simpler to use software interface. It said that features like Smart Keyboard, Smart Notice, Knock Code, Guest Mode, etc will help G3 stand apart from other flagship devices.

LG has also designed a smart cover for LG G3 the cover has called the QuickCircle. The phone is also support for Qi wireless charging system. The LG G3 accessories include its Quick Circle flip cover, its hassle-free wireless charger and its Tone Infinim Bluetooth headset; the device has two companion devices, the G-Pad tablet and the G-Watch smart watch.

LG G3 is available in black, white, and gold color, but at the press conference the phone is also appeared in blue and red color. In the market, G3 will go against Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8, Xperia Z2 and iPhone 5S. It will also likely compete with any new flagship phones that Samsung, Apple and others may launch in the coming months.

LG said that G3 will go on sale in South Korea from May 28. It will then be rolled out to 170 countries in the coming months with the US and most of the European countries likely to get it in June. For India, LG has not revealed any specific date or month for the G3 launch or availability though it is likely to be July. For now, LG has not announced any price for G3.

The rear body of LG G3 picture is the first leaked picture that available in this year, even when the picture is not too detaile bu we can see the part of the LG G3 body comparing to previous rumor, the phone has dedicated button on the back body, this button is totally different with previous LG G2 smartphone’s button.

LG is now preparing their Android phone that exclusively offers in Japan. Those phone is called as LG isai FL.

According to information, the upcoming LG isai FL is the variant of LG G3, this phone is targeting for Japanese consumer and no we have a leaked picture about this phone that show in pink color.

The leaked picture is taken from @evleaks account, this phone is the other variant along with blue color and also available in white color cover.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 that running on 2.5Ghz clock-speed, the phone is also has 5.5 inch screen size and 2K HD 2560 x 1440 resolution. According to Evleaks, this phone is also has waterproof capability and running with KitKat operating system.

There seems to be a continuous amount of news leaking out regarding the LG G3 this month. The device’s design and specifications can be said to be fully revealed. Today, the website: MyLGPhone once again leaked news from operator Sprint’s UA profile. They discovered that LG is about to released several new devices, one of the models named “LG-LS990”, and could be Sprint’s version of the LG G3. According to leaks, the device has 32GB card storage, 2GB internal storage, a 2.4 megapixel front camera and a 16 megapixel main camera. Other than the leaked specifications, the alternative media has also leaked about the new interface, confirmed to be the “Concierge” service.

The Concierge service will collect various messages and your phone use habits, and recommend relevant contact to the phone user by following a complicated algorithm .  For example, in the image above, you can see the AccuWeather weather and time widget – the Concierge service will automatically follow the weather for that afternoon and notify the user to bring an umbrella out.

From the newest UA Profile, it was discovered that the device features a WQHD 2560 x 1440 resolution screen, and will run on Android 4.42/M8974AAAAANLYD2145A.1. The above serial code displays the serial code for the Qualcomm M8974, but this does no mean that the build will carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor – the alternative media suggests that the LG Company may be using this LG G3 model carrying the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor for testing, and may use a processor as powerful as the Galaxy S5 or the HTC One (M8) for their release version.

@Evleaks has been posted the leaked picture of those smartphone, according to leaked picture, the LG G3 will be has larger screen, the rear facing caemra with LED flash light. And there is navigation button below the rear camera. The phone is also has slimmer body.

LG is ready to release their new flagship smartphone, LG G3 smartphone, and the interesting is the LG G3 will be powered by MedaItek MT6595 octa-core processor.

The MediaTek MT6595 is the upgrade version of MediaTek MT6592 chipset, both processor is using the octa-core processor and MediaTek MT6595 is the latest octa-core that already adopt by popular smartphone manufacturer, including LG.

LG D850 is appear from the GFXBench website that has 1440 × 2560 screen resolution for Quad HD level, the phone is confirms to uses MediaTek MT6595 chipset that running at 1.7GHz-2.2GHz clock-speed, the phone is running Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

According to previous news, MT6595 for the eight-core processor, equipped with four clocked at 2.2GHz-2.5GHz’s Cortex-A17 core that has 1.7GHz clock-speed, and four of the Cortex-A7 cores and support with PowerVR Series6 GPU (Code Rogue) this processor is equal with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 device.
