In June, LG introduced the W-series of smartphones to rival with the brands that are ruling the mid-range market in India. It had launched phones such as LG W10, LG W30 and LG W30 Pro. Except for the Pro model, the other two phones have been available for purchase soon after announcement. The LG W30 Pro is now available for purchase in India.

LG W30 Pro Price in India

At the June event, LG did not confirm the pricing and availability of the LG W30 Pro. Now, it has revealed that the smartphone can be bought for Rs. 12,490 (~$176). The Amazon India exclusive phone comes in two colors like Midnight Blue and Midnight Purple. The launch offers available for the LG W30 Pro buyers are no cost EMI, exchange offers, up to Rs. 2,000 discount for Citibank credit card users and 10 percent discount for users of Yes Bank credit card.

LG W30 Pro Specifications

The LG W30 Pro is fitted with a 6.21-inch FullVision IPS LCD display that supports HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The device promises a screen-to-body ratio of 86.83. The Snapdragon 632 mobile platform is present under the hood of the device with up to 4 GB of RAM. It offers users with a native storage of 64 GB. A microSD card slot is also available on the device for more storage.

The rear side of the LG W30 Pro is fitted with a triple camera system. It includes a primary lens of 13-megapixel, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. For shooting selfies, the waterdrop notch on the screen houses a front camera of 16-megapixel. The smartphone is backed by a 4,050mAh capacity that carries support for rapid charging. The device carries support for dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB-C with OTG support and 3.5mm audio jack.

A fingerprint scanner is found on the polycarbonate rear of the LG W30 Pro. The smartphone is equipped with StereoPulse Sound technology that can deliver twofold bass output compared to conventional smartphone by effectively making use of its internal space as a resonance chamber.

The LG W10 and LG W30 smartphones are respectively available with Rs. 8,999 (~$127) and Rs. 9,999 (~$141) price tags in India. These devices are also available exclusively through Amazon India.

Today, the LG W10 and W30 smartphones will be made available for purchase for the first time in India. Amazon India will carry out the first flash sale of the LG W-series phone at 12 PM today. During the unveil event, the South Korean company did not confirm the pricing and availability of the LG W30 Pro. Hence, it is expected to hit the Indian markets later.

The LG W10 carries a price tag of Rs. 8,999 whereas the LG W30 is priced at Rs. 9,999. The W10 can be bought in colors like Tulip Purple and Smokey Grey. The W30 color variants include Thunder Blue, Platinum Grey and Aurora Green.

Yes Bank credit card users who purchase the LG W10 or W30 through EMI will be available to take advantage of instant 10 percent discount. Customers of these phones will also receive Rs. 1,700 cashback from Reliance Jio and Rs. 3,250 coupons from ClearTrip.

It also houses a 4,000mAh battery. A fingerprint sensor is placed on the back of the phone and it runs on Android 9 Pie OS.

The W10 offers 18.9:9 aspect ratio and W30 models offer 19:9 aspect ratio. The W10 sports a wider notch whereas the W30 and W30 Pro smaller waterdrop notch. LG is offering a software feature that allows users to customize the notch design from options such as u-shaped or v-shaped or straight bezel.

The LG W10 and W30 feature MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. Both phones come with 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage. For capturing selfies, there is an LED equipped 8-megapixel front camera on the LG W10. Its rear shell has a dual camera system with a 13-megapixel main sensor and 5-megapixel lens for adding depth effects. It comes with features like PDAF, 2x zoom and LED flash.

The W30 and W30 Pro have 16-megapixel front-facing cameras. Both smartphones are fitted with triple rear cameras. There is a Sony IMX486 12-megapixel main sensor for low-light photography, a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor inside the triple camera system of the LG W30. The W30 Pro’s triple camera unit has 2x zoom enabled low-light primary lens of 13-megapixel, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a depth sensor of 5-megapixel.

All three LG W-series phones feature large-sized 4,000mAh batteries that lack support for fast charging. They also come with rear-mounted fingerprint scanners and face unlock feature. The South Korean company did not reveal the pricing of the LG W30 Pro which is expected to go on sale later.

LG will be holding a launch event in India tomorrow to announce its W-series of smartphones. Rumors have claimed that the South Korean firm may debut as many as three smartphones tomorrow. One of them is the LG W10 smartphone that is expected to arrive with entry-level specs. Today, the micro site for LG W-series on Amazon India has confirmed its other W-series phone will be called LG W30.

The retailer giant has also confirmed that one of the color editions of the LG W30 will be called Aurora Green. It will be exclusively available for Prime members and its sale will be carried on July 15. The smartphone will be also available in other colors like Black and Blue.

There is no information available on the specifications yet. However, the smartphone is confirmed to arrive with a waterdrop-style notch and triple rear cameras. The South Korean company has promised that the triple shooters will offer features like wide-angle shots, portrait mode and low-light photography. The rear shell of the phone will be featuring a fingerprint sensor. LG has been claiming that the W-series will carry pocket-worthy price tags.

LG has been teasing the launch of a new smartphone under its all-new W-series in the Indian market. Now, the company has officially sent out media invites for a launch event on 26th June.

While the company has not revealed the name of the smartphone in question reports indicates that the first smartphone in this new W-series will be called LG W10. Some other details about the phone have also been leaked.

It’s confirmed from the company’s earlier teasers that the LG W10 smartphone will come with three rear camera sensors. The teaser also reveals that the phone will come with support for Wide Angle image capabilities. Further, the company has teased that the notch on top of the display can be customized as per the user’s mood or can get rid of it.

The phone also has a back-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The LG W10 smartphone will be launched in three color options but what those options will be have not been revealed yet. Given that the smartphone is “Amazon Special”, it will be available for purchase in India exclusively through Amazon.

It has also been revealed that the phone will be powered by a 12nm octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. Now, there are a couple of processors that fall under this category but it seems that the device could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 439 SoC or MediaTek‘s Helio P22 or Helio P60 processor.

The LG W10 smartphone will come powered by a 4,000mAh battery which should be enough to provide power for an entire day of usage on a single charge. We don’t know yet if the phone has fast charging support. It will also come with the company’s Boombox proprietary sound technology. The smartphone will come with Android 9 Pie operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own custom interface.

While the pricing details are not yet known, the teasers say that it will have a “pocket-worthy price tag” and “never before prices”, so we are optimistic about aggressive pricing. To know for sure what the company is planning for this LG W-series smartphone, we’ll have to wait for a few more days as the launch event is just around the corner — on 26th June.

The LG W10 has been spotted on the Android Enterprise website and the listing reveals some of its key specs.

The LG W10 has been reported to be the base model of a new line of smartphones from LG. A leaked image from last week showed us the phone will have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and dual rear cameras. However, we didn’t get to see what the front looks like.

The Android Enterprise listing says the LG W10 (LGE W10) will have a 6.2-inch display, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in storage. It will also run Android 9 Pie out of the box. It confirms it will have a fingerprint scanner but says it doesn’t have NFC.

The listing includes an image of an LG phone with a wide-notch but it’s the G7 Fit and not the W10. LG’s marketing material for the W-series show a phone with a waterdrop notch, so this image used for the Android Enterprise listing is just a placeholder.

LG is yet to announce a launch date but we have a feeling it will do so very soon. The LG W-series will launch in India first but may eventually make its way to other markets.

We don’t know how many phones LG plans to release when it announces its new W-series but at the moment, we are sure there are two phones. Live photos of a phone said to be the LG W10 have leaked and they are different from the one we covered a few days ago.

According to 91 mobiles who first reported the news, the W10 is the base model in the series. As you can see in the image below, it has a curved back unlike the other one we have seen which has a flat back. We also don’t think the back is made of glass but rather metal with a glossy finish.

The LG W10 is said to have dual rear cameras. We can only see the LED flash and know the cameras are arranged vertically. There is also a fingerprint scanner in the middle.

Unlike the other LG W-series phone we have seen, this comes in purple and doesn’t have a gradient finish. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack on one side of the USB port while a speaker grille is on the opposite side.

The LG W10 has been reported to be priced under INR 15,000 (~$214). We don’t know its specs so we can’t say if LG is charging too much.

There are speculations the other models will be named W20, W30 and so on which makes sense since the base model is called the W10.

Alongside the photo of the W10, another set of photos showing the front of the triple camera model has surfaced on the web. The photos confirm the display has a waterdrop notch but also shows the chin isn’t anywhere near thin.

We are still expecting LG to announce a launch date.
