The phone offers users a number of spectacular features ordinarily you can get only on the more expensive LG models. Some of these features include powerful audio and AI-enhanced software. The phone also features a dedicated Google Assistant button at the left side of the display. The SIM card tray is located at the bottom left corner of the display just under the Google Assistant button and volume rockers which are also on the left side. The power button is on the right corner. <img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-249018" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/lg-x4.png?x10805" alt="LG X4 2019" width="778" height="574" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/lg-x4.png 778w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/lg-x4-300x221.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/lg-x4-768x567.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/lg-x4-80x60.png 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/lg-x4-696x514.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/lg-x4-569x420.png 569w" sizes="(max-width: 778px) 100vw, 778px" /></p>
<p>As for the specifications, the LG X4 (2019) presents with a compact 5.7-inch IPS HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Despite the aspect ratio, the phone still has a sizeable amount of bezels at the top and bottom edges like a 16:9 aspect ratio phone. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM. The device packs 32GB of expandable storage. <img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-249012" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/lg-x4-2019.jpg?x10805" alt="LG X4 2019" width="727" height="450" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/lg-x4-2019.jpg 727w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/lg-x4-2019-300x186.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/lg-x4-2019-356x220.jpg 356w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/lg-x4-2019-696x431.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/lg-x4-2019-679x420.jpg 679w" sizes="(max-width: 727px) 100vw, 727px" /></p>

One of such phones is the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/01/19/lg-x4-rugged-phone-lg-pay-snapdragon-425-280-pricing-unveiled/">LG X4+</a> which launched in early 2018. A new report has revealed it will be getting a successor this year called the LG X4 (2019).</p>
<p>Details of the LG X4 (2019) was found in the Android Enterprise Device Catalog and it includes some key specs. The phone will have a 5.7-inch display, which is significantly bigger than the 5.3-inch screen of its predecessor. There is no mention of the display resolution.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-239653" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/LG-X4-2019.jpg?x10805" alt="LG X4 (2019)" width="400" height="367" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/LG-X4-2019.jpg 400w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/LG-X4-2019-300x275.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px" /></p>
<p>There is 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage but the processor isn&#8217;t specified. The LG X4+ is powered by a Snapdragon 425 processor which is pretty old already. Our guess is that the new model will come with a newer processor in the Snapdragon 400 series, maybe the Snapdragon 429. LG may also surprise us and use a MediaTek chipset.</p>

<p>The LG X4+ launched with Android Nougat out of the box but its successor will run Android 8.1 Oreo. Not the latest but surely better than Android Nougat. There is a fingerprint scanner and also NFC on board. The spec sheet also says it has support for Zero-Touch support which further confirms it is an Android Enterprise recommended device.</p>
