One of the biggest selling points of the Ulefone Be Pro was its promised Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Now, the company is staying true to its promise as it invites users for beta testing the Android 5.0 update on their Ulefone Be Pro smartphones.

We already know that the company has started testing Android 5.0 update for its Be Pro smartphone. However, for the first time, Ulefone is inviting its customers to participate in the beta testing program. Unlike the previous test where we saw only a handful of testers, this new beta program will take as many as 100 beta testers. 

Remember that this is just the beta version and there will be a final refined Android 5.0 update that will be made available for everyone pretty soon. So, only those who don’t mind a few bugs on their smartphones should go ahead and test out the new Android 5.0 ROM for the Be Pro. Others better wait for the official OTA from the company.

There are already many who have shown interest in the beta test program, so make sure that you sign up as soon as possible.

1.You need to have a Ulefone Be Pro, Show your Be Pro in pictures;
2.Tester can’t share the Beta ROM with other customers, once we find that behavior, we won’t provide the next Beta ROM any more;
3.This test Rom still exist some bugs, it will affect your normal operation, please be careful to apply this ROM.

Xiaomi Mi2S users who have flashed the Developer Edition of the MIUI 6 will be able to update their devices to Android 5.0 Lollipop version of the MIUI 6 operating system through a now available OTA update.

According to source, when the update initially came out some of the users encountered issues after updating their devices. But the company has since released a new OTA update that has resolved those issues.

As previously mentioned, only those who have the Developer Edition of the MIUI 6 can receive the update. Unfortunately, the update for the standard edition of the OS will come only at a later time. Mi1 and Mi Note 4 users will also have to wait a little longer as there has been no news about when the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for MIUI 6 will come to those devices.

Users who want to try out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update based on MIUI 6 can flash the Developer Edition of the software by downloading the ROM from the MIUI website on their Mi2S and installing it through the built-in Updater app.

Meizu MX4 Pro users have been eagerly waiting for their Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Now, we have something that might interest you guys.

Yesterday, the company revealed its Android 5.0 release schedules for its smartphones and the MX4 Pro was right on top. In fact, it will be the first Meizu device to be updated to the latest Android operating system.

Today, team Ubuntu has released a screenshot of the MX4 Pro running on the Android 5.0.1 version. So, it looks like the company is all set to release the final version to the users.

However, according to yesterday’s post, the Lollipop update for MX4 Pro is still in the beta stage, which means you may have to wait for a few more weeks for an official stable OTA update. According to the image given below, the release is slated for April 28, which is still around three weeks away.

So, it looks like the company is on schedule developing the Android 5.0 update based on Flyme 4.5. We will keep you guys updated with more information in the next few days.
