Nintendo has released an official trailer for the Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD game on Nintendo Switch. The four-minute introduction video of the new game details the main gameplay, mechanisms, maps, and multiplayer cooperation mode.

Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is a remake of the Luigi’s Mansion 2: Dark Moon game which was released as a Nintendo 3DS game in 2013. There are multiple modes in the game and it supports multiplayer online games. Up to four persons can play the game online. It also supports local multiplayer functionality in the ScareScraper mode. The game itself features Luigi who uses flashlights to stun ghosts and vacuum cleaners to catch ghosts. Each level is themed around different places including greenhouses and ice palaces. King Boo is the villain in the game and Luigi’s mission is to find the missing fragments of the dark moon and stop King Boo.

The Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD game has an ultra-powerful ghost hunting tool Poltergust 5000 to suck out the ghosts. The tool also puffs air to enable Luigi to thoroughly search every nook and cranny of the charming but creepy mansion. The visual enhancements of HD offer a better user experience for the game than its predecessor.

The Nintendo Switch Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD game is available for pre-order from the Nintendo Switch eShop at a price of around 397 yuan ($55). The official release date for the new game is June 27 and the game supports Chinese.
