Lumio has launched its latest smart TVs, the Vision 9 (2026) and Vision 7 (2026), in India. The Vision 9, positioned as a flagship offering, focuses on performance, display quality, gaming, and audio enhancements. The Vision 7 models target more affordable price points while delivering upgraded storage and enhanced usability.

Lumio Vision 9 (2026) Specifications

Lumio Vision 9 (2026) offers 55-inch and 65-inch models, priced at ₹72,999 (₹64,999 with offers) for the larger size. These TVs use advanced QD MiniLED panels paired with Enhanced VA (EVA) technology.

The EVA panels achieve deeper black levels, a 7000:1 contrast ratio, and wider viewing angles compared to traditional VA panels. Lumio claims its flagship models achieve up to 2x faster boot times and app launches than industry averages with the MediaTek Pentonic 700 chipset, 3GB RAM, and 64GB storage.

The Vision 9 TVs support native 4K resolution at 144Hz and up to 240Hz at 1080p, making them ideal for gaming. These also include features like Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and HDMI 2.1 ports, ensuring smooth, lag-free gaming experiences with consoles and PCs.

The TVs deliver up to 800 nits peak HDR brightness, support Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG formats, and cover over 100% of NTSC and up to 82% of the Rec.2020 color gamut.

The sound system on the Vision 9 models uses a 50W DGS 2.2 (Damn Good Sound) configuration with dual subwoofers, tweeters, and full-range drivers, plus Dolby Atmos support for immersive audio.

Lumio Vision 7 (2026) Specifications

The Vision 7 (2026) series targets buyers looking for value-oriented options. It comes in 43-inch and 55-inch models, priced at ₹29,999 and ₹39,999 respectively. These TVs include QLED displays and upgraded storage, with 64GB capacity that is four times higher than the previous generation.

Both TV models run on Android 14 with Google TV and feature AI-powered TLDR 2.0 for content discovery. They also include Project Neo, allowing users to send queries or video links from messaging apps like WhatsApp and view results on the TV.

All models will be available via Amazon and Flipkart starting April 24, 2026. Lumio offers buyers additional bank discounts and a two-year warranty on all models.

The new Indian tech brand just released the Arc 5 in the Indian market via Amazon India. The Arc 5 model is a portable projector thanks to its light 1.33 kilogram weight. Despite its compact form factor, the Lumio Arc 5 can project a screen size of up to 100 inches. This screen has a resolution of 1080p, while also supporting the HDR10 standard and Google TV.

The Lumio Arc 5 arrives with the brand’s proprietary ArcLight Engine, TL;DR, 200 ANSI lumens of brightness, and an Under Stand that helps tilt the projector. Lumio also brings native support for apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube. Under the hood, it is equipped with the MediaTek 9630 SoC with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. This projector was built with a sealed and dust proof body that was designed in Bangalore.

Other notable features include Google TV, Bluetooth Speaker Mode, two 5W speakers with dual passive radiators, Dolby Atmos support, obstacle avoidance, and even a TOF sensor for autofocus. Lumio pairs the Arc 5 with the Minion remote, which supports Google Assistant voice control and dedicated shortcut buttons. The Arc 5 was announced for 19,999 INR, with an introductory price tag of 17,499 INR.

Lumio, a relatively new player in India’s consumer tech space, used the recent Amazon Prime Day 2025 to make its presence felt. The company, which launched just two months ago, says it saw a massive spike in demand for its Vision Series TVs and Arc 7 projector during the sale period.

According to the company, Lumio’s Vision line of Google TV-powered smart TVs saw 12x sales growth during the Prime Day event compared to its usual business volume. That’s not surprising during promotional periods, as the TVs were enjoying a discount of up to Rs 9000.

What’s notable, though, is the fact that Lumio reportedly had the highest Average Selling Price (ASP) among Indian brands and was second only overall, competing against more established global players.

In particular, the Vision 7 QLED 43-inch TV (Review) with what Lumio calls its “Flagship Boss Processor” helped the company grab the number two spot in that category. It was available for Rs 23,999 down from its regular price of Rs 29,999. 

Lumio Arc 7 is another hit

Lumio’s Arc 7 projector, also launched during Prime Day, sold out during the event. The projector runs Google TV and comes with Netflix certification.

The company claims it’s now the number one Google TV projector brand in India and the second-ranked brand in the INR 20,000+ projector segment.

The Arc 7 features Full HD 1080p output and uses an ArcLight Engine, designed to be dust-free and low maintenance. The idea is to target midrange buyers who want plug-and-play simplicity without compromising on resolution or platform support.

For a brand that only entered the market eight weeks ago, Lumio’s early numbers are certainly impressive. We hope the brand continues to address the market that not many brands are focusing on.

Out of the box, the Lumio Arc 5 can output 200 ANSI Lumens of screen projection. It can display images ranging from a size of 40 inches to 100 inches, with a contrast ratio of 1000:1. Meanwhile, the Lumio Arc 7 has a more powerful projection output that doubles the brightness with 400 ANSI Lumens. This projector has a higher 1500:1 contrast ratio and can even project a larger picture, ranging from 45 inches to 120 inches.

Audio

Under the hood, the larger Lumio Arc 7 packs two 8W stereo speakers with a large passive radiator unit. This is louder than the single 5W driver with dual passive radiator found on the Arc 5. While you’re probably using a dedicated speaker with the projectors, the audio experience is clearly better on the Arc 7. Notably, both variants have Dolby Audio support.

Pricing

Lumio announced its brand new projectors at different prices to target a larger audience. The Arc 5 has a more affordable 19,999 INR price tag, while the Arc 7 is priced at 34,999 INR. But it is worth noting that Arc 7 has an effective price tag of 29,999 INR for customers who purchase this model between July 12 and July 14.

So the preference here clearly depends on your budget. Projectors are handy for a home theatre experience, but not everyone aims to spend a lot. The Arc 7 is clearly a better model overall, but the Arc 5 gets the job done for a more affordable price.

Lumio has announced the launch of two new smart projectors, the Arc 5 and Arc 7, as part of its entry into India’s growing but underdeveloped home projector segment. The company aims to address a clear gap in the market, where most options are either low-end devices under Rs. 12,000 ($140) or expensive models priced above Rs. 50,000 ($584).

Lumio Arc 5 and Arc 7 Specifications

The Arc series targets the midrange segment between Rs. 20,000 ($234) and Rs. 50,000 ($584), which remains largely unserved in India. Lumio has built these projectors to solve common consumer frustrations, including poor app compatibility, weak audio performance, clunky setup processes, and lack of reliable service support.

Both models run Google TV and come with Netflix certification, providing users access to over 10,000 apps and 400,000+ movies and shows. Lumio has backed the launch with a service network of over 200 centers across India and includes a 1-year warranty.

The Arc 5 is a compact projector designed for bedrooms, dorm rooms, or travel. It features 200 ANSI lumens of brightness, supports Full HD 1080p resolution with HDR10, and projects up to a 100-inch screen. The Arc 5 weighs just 1.33 kg and includes 5W speakers with Dolby Audio and dual passive radiators for improved bass.

The more powerful Arc 7 targets larger living rooms. It offers 400 ANSI lumens of brightness and includes 2x8W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio and a larger passive radiator. It also supports a 100-inch screen and uses the same sealed ArcLight Engine as the Arc 5 to prevent dust buildup and maintain long-term image quality.

Both projectors feature auto-keystone correction, obstacle avoidance, and instant autofocus using a built-in Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor. Lumio calls this system STR8 (Smooth Trapezoidal Recalibration), which simplifies the setup experience for users. Internally, they run on the MediaTek 9630 chip with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.

Lumio also introduced the new Minion Noir remote, which includes dedicated buttons for Google Assistant, Netflix, YouTube, and TLDR, Lumio’s proprietary dashboard for live sports updates and curated music content.

Lumio, the new Indian smart TV brand that launched earlier this year, is preparing to introduce its second product. The company has officially teased a new projector called the Lumio Arc, ahead of a possible launch during Amazon Prime Day 2025.

The teaser went live on X (formerly Twitter) with the tagline: “Introducing Lumio Arc. Feels like Magic.” Sudeep Sahu, one of the founding members of Lumio, confirmed the news on X and said the team has spent close to a year developing the product. He added that the projector category needs meaningful innovation and that for many users, the Arc could be their first projector at home.

The teaser video highlights the Arc’s design, which features a top-mounted circular lens at the front center. The surface around the lens appears smooth and matte, with softly curved edges that give the projector a clean, symmetrical look. Below the lens, a perforated grille likely functions as either a speaker outlet or a ventilation system. At the center of the grille, a single recessed oval element may serve as a sensor for keystone correction.

The overall body seems to use a matte black or dark metallic material. The design appears aimed at home entertainment users who want a modern, stylish device that fits well in living rooms.

While Lumio has not revealed any technical specifications or pricing details, the timing of the teaser aligns with Amazon’s upcoming Prime Day 2025 sale. Amazon has confirmed that this year’s Prime Day event in India will last for 72 hours, starting at midnight on July 12 and ending at 11:59 PM on July 14. Lumio may use this event to launch or showcase the Arc projector.

Lumio entered the Indian market in early 2025 as a new TV brand under Bengaluru-based Circuit House Technologies. The company was founded by former Xiaomi and Flipkart executives. Its debut smart TVs aimed to fix slow and clunky UI issues by focusing on performance and clean software. The Vision 7 QLED (full review) series and the flagship Vision 9 QD-Mini LED model both run Google TV with a custom “BOSS Processor” and come with features like Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and 3GB RAM.

When Circuit House Technologies first announced its Lumio Vision 7 and Lumio Vision 9 series of smart TVs, they didn’t just promise crisp visuals or rich audio like most brands. They boldly claim they’ve built the fastest smart TVs on the market. The company recently had a media briefing showcasing these TVs in action, and a friend from Lumio helped me get a review unit of the Vision 7. So, is the Vision 7 really as fast as advertised, or is this just another case of a marketing stunt? Read on to find out.

Design & Remote

Before diving into how fast it may or may not be, let’s first look at its design. In the modern household, where gadgets and tech are scattered in almost every room, the smart TV often takes up the most visual real estate. That’s why the minimalist design of the Lumio Vision 7 helps it maintain a surprisingly low profile.

Of course, you can’t completely ignore a 55-inch slab—but once it’s on, the slim bezels around the QLED panel make it feel more like a digital canvas. This is especially true when the TV displays photos from your gallery or digital artwork. The Vision 7 is built using a metallic frame and back panel, blending plastic for other areas like the speaker cover. Buyers can either mount it on a wall or use the stand. It is worth noting that you only get the stand and its necessary screws and not the wall mounts in the box.

The Lumio Vision 7 is paired with the Minion remote, and honestly, it’s just right. With a refreshing gray plastic body and black textured rubber buttons, the remote manage to feel both premium and lightweight. It covers all the essentials as well like the directional keys, volume rockers, voice control, OTT hotkeys, a dedicated TLDR button, and, importantly, a much-appreciated mute button.

Connectivity

Lumio offers a healthy selection of ports on the Vision 7. You get three HDMI 2.1 ports (maxes out at 4K@60fps), including one with eARC support, making it easy to pair with soundbars for improved audio. There’s also one USB 3.1, two USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet (RJ45) port, an AV mini input, and an optical port for additional connectivity. The Vision 7 also supports dual-band WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0. Despite my router being in a different room, the TV managed to maintain a strong and stable connection throughout testing.

Display & Audio

Getting the specs out of the way first, the Lumio Vision 7 unit I received was the 55-inch model featuring 4K resolution, a Blue LED backlight, 60Hz refresh rate, 114% DCI-P3 color gamut, and support for HDR formats like HLG, Dolby Vision, and HDR10. Complementing all of this is Lumio’s proprietary “DOPE” display engine. QLED TVs are more affordable than ever, and here’s why this one stands out from the crowd:

The QLED panel on the Vision 7 provides good color reproduction and sharp picture quality. Watching movies and videos in UHD resolution is genuinely a treat. The TV provides solid viewing angles (except at extreme sides), and both SDR and HDR content look vibrant. Lumio claims 114 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and a peak brightness of 400 nits. The Blue LED backlight brings out warmer tones while color tuning is straightforward through the settings.

Unfortunately, you’re not getting true blacks—something to be expected given its sub-Rs 40,000 price tag and lack of MiniLED that is found on the Vision 9. Still, the 400-nit brightness performs above average in this segment, ensuring a clear and consistent experience even in a well-lit room during the day. On the feature front, you get ALLM, MEMC, and Dynamic Brightness. I already have a love-hate relationship with MEMC, and having it enabled by default—and turned back on automatically every time the TV starts was frustrating.

But like with most modern TVs, this is just something you learn to live with. Hopefully, Lumio can change this with a future update. MEMC was intended to make watching sports smoother, but being on by default leads to a worse experience when consuming other media like movies. On the gaming side, a 55-inch 4K screen is one of the best ways to enjoy AAA single-player titles. I tested it with The Last of Us Part II, and the cinematic gameplay felt immersive, with no noticeable input lag. That said, I wouldn’t recommend it for competitive esports titles like Counter-Strike 2.

During the initial media briefing, Lumio also highlighted the Vision 7’s audio system—and not without reason. After my Bluetooth speaker suddenly gave out, I relied entirely on the Vision 7’s built-in speakers and was pleasantly surprised. It features a DGS Audio setup with two tweeters and two full-range drivers, delivering a total output of 30W.

While it’s not the loudest in its class, the audio quality was genuinely enjoyable. The sound profile leans toward clarity, with nicely balanced mids and highs. Bass isn’t particularly punchy, but the speaker box offers enough volume for a richer overall range. Plus, you get Dolby Atmos support which is a nice touch. It’s no substitute for a dedicated soundbar or home theater setup, but for this price, it’s easily one of the better audio packages. I mostly kept the volume between 30 to 40 percent which I found to be the sweet spot.

Performance & UI

The smart TV segment is crowded with competition, especially under the Rs 40,000 price mark which makes standing out hard for any single model. Instead of relying on gimmicks or flashy features, Lumio has chosen a more thoughtful route: refining the core experience to match pricier rivals. During the development of the Vision 7, the brand studied reviews of competing TVs and found a common pain point, which is performance.

Many budget smart TVs tend to be sluggish, either right out of the box or over time. Lumio, however, claims that the Vision 7 has been built to avoid such slowdowns and is capable of outperforming the competition. At the official demo, the focus was on the impressive boot-up speeds and app load times, which was mirrored in my own experience over the last two weeks.

That speed is largely thanks to what Lumio calls the BOSS processor—a quad-core CPU paired with 3GB of DDR4 RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Compared to the typical 2GB/8GB setup found in this segment, this is a notable upgrade, giving the system more breathing room and ensuring smoother performance. Together, these internals deliver what is easily one of the smoothest UI experiences I’ve seen in this price range.

The Vision 7 runs Google TV out of the box. While I wasn’t initially a fan of this UI, the performance here made me reconsider. App switching, loading times, and overall navigation were snappy and responsive. This is what a true “smart” experience should feel like even on a budget. You also get access to all major streaming platforms and can download other media apps via the Play Store.

Verdict

The Vision 7 comes in three sizes: 43, 50, and 55 inches. The top-end 55-inch model, which I reviewed, is priced at Rs 39,999. For the price, you’re getting a responsive, well-built 4K smart TV with great visuals, smooth performance, and competent speakers. It checks all the boxes and delivers a premium experience without the premium price tag.

Lumio Vision 9 & Vision 9 Teased Ahead of Launch

While the company placed an emphasis on overall performance and smoothness of these smart TVs, the display is another highlight of the Vision 9. This is the more expensive option between the two and features a Blue MiniLED backlight. This technology allows for improved picture quality, improved brightness, better contrast, and deeper blacks.

The screen has a peak brightness of 900 nits and uses Premium QLED tech with a dedicated quantum dot layer for enhanced color accuracy. The screen has 115 percent DCI P3 color gamut and Local Dimming support. Meanwhile, the Vision 7 skips the Mini LED tech but it still features a Blue LED backlight and can achieve 400 nits of peak brightness. It also arrives with the QLED display tech, quantum dot layer, and a 110 percent DCI P3 color gamut.

Both models feature HDR for enhanced contrast and colors along with Dolby Vision. Lumio also placed an emphasis on the audio system on these TV, with a quad 30W speaker setup that includes two full range drivers and two tweeters. The brand claims that the sound cavity is also 150 percent larger than the average smart TVs. The duo supports 24 bit audio processing with a sampling rate of 88.2KHz for better audio quality overall.

Other notable features include eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) support, HDMI, and Bluetooth Out. Apart from Dolby Vision, the Lumio Vision 9 and Vision 7 arrives with Dolby Atmos and DGS audio. Lumio’s upcoming smart TVs run on an optimized Google TV and a proprietary TLDR feature. This is a user interface designed by the company to offer a simplified content discovery page. Lumio Vision Series Smart TV Drops in India Next Week

We recently got invited to meet the team behind Lumio and also get a sneak peek at these upcoming “ultra smooth” smart TVs, which are launching in India on 10th April 2025. During the media briefing, it was clear that the company was placing an emphasis on a smoother user experience that was both intuitive and responsive. The live demonstration showcased the Vision 9 and the Vision 7 with its competitors, showcasing its blazing fast app loading times and much more.

Lumio is claiming that its new smart TVs are the fastest thanks to a custom built chip, which it refers to as the boss processor. This is coupled with 3GB of DDR4 RAM, which helps in keeping the operations fast and efficient. The brand boasts faster load times, faster app installation, better WiFi connectivity (with a dedicated WiFi chip), and support for 4K 60fps video playback with minimal frame drops.

Lumio’s Vision lineup is powered by an optimized Google TV interface and was seen handily beating a Sony Bravia in both boot time and app launch time. The launch is set for next week, so stick around for more as we will be covering its release and possibly something more interesting as well.

India’s smart TV market, valued at $5 billion, is witnessing a shift towards premiumization, with larger screens and advanced display technologies becoming mainstream. According to Lumio, despite over 100 brands in the space, many consumers still rely on generic searches, indicating a lack of strong brand loyalty. Lumio plans to capitalize on this gap by offering a fresh perspective on smart TVs, catering to evolving consumer expectations.

The team behind Lumio comprises professionals with extensive experience at leading brands like Lenovo, Philips, Tivo, LG, and Samsung. It aims is to eliminate common user frustrations by developing smart TVs designed for seamless experiences.

Lumio is collaborating with Google TV to provide access to over 400,000 movies and shows across 10,000+ apps. Dixon Technologies, India’s leading electronics manufacturer, will ensure high-quality production, while Amazon India will handle distribution, ensuring nationwide availability.

Lumio’s first TV range to launch in March
