Luna’s next gen smart ring has just been announced globally during the IFA 2025 event. The company’s Luna Ring 2.0 brings various upgrades over its predecessors, including an impressive battery life, better health tracking, and AI powered health features. So let’s check it out.

Luna Ring 2.0 Brings LifeOS, AI Health Score & Long Battery Life

Luna 2.0 smart ring arrives with a durable titanium body that is 5ATM water resistant. It runs on the new LifeOS, which arrives with AI integration that can learn your body’s internal clock. The smart wearable arrives with Luna AI 2.0, which now supports an AI voice coach. This new feature allows the Luna Ring 2.0 to personalized health and fitness related insights.

The smart ring also uses AI for health scoring, along with support for blood oxygen monitoring, heart rate tracking, and pulse oximetry as well. Luna has improved the sleep tracking on its 2.0 Ring with in-depth sleep analysis with various metrics like sleep efficiency, sleep cycles, and circadian rhythm. Weighing around 3.5 grams, the Luna Ring 2.0 can double as an unintrusive fashion/tech accessory as well.

One of the big highlights is the long battery life. On a single full charge, the Luna Ring 2.0 can last for up to 5 days, with the charging case bringing the total battery life to over 21 days. Although, the ring box-like charging case is sold separately. The Surge Charger Bundle is priced at 349 US Dollars, while the Luna Ring 2.0 alone costs 300 US Dollars. It is also listed in the Indian market for 24,999 INR.

Now, it has been officially launched in the United States.

The cloud gaming service has formally launched in the mainland US and is available for users of Android, iOS, Chrome OS, macOS, and Windows.

The Luna+ service, which is a core offering from the company, is priced at $10 per month and gives access to more than 100 games. There are also kid-friendly Family Channel and Ubisoft+ Channels costing $6 and $18 per month respectively.

However, those who subscribe to the service in the month of March will get the Luna+ service for a discounted price of $6 per month and the Family channel for $3 a month. Those who are already subscribed to the service will have their current pricing locked.

Unlike other cloud gaming services like Google Stadia where users can purchase individual games for playing, the Amazon Luna works differently as users have to subscribe to channels that come with their own bundles of games.

Apart from the Luna+ and Ubisoft+ channels, the company is also offering Prime Gaming Channel that offers Amazon Prime members a selection of free games to play. There’s also a Retro Channel with classic games. The company also has a Jackbox Games Channel and is debuting a new “Luna Couch” feature that lets other people join in playing even if they don’t subscribe to Luna themselves. Both the Retro Channel and Jackbox Games Channel have been priced at $4.99 per month.

Amazon is also debuting a new feature for Luna in which it is leveraging Twitch by adding native support for one-click broadcasting. Just by a simple press of a button on Luna, users can instantly live stream the game with a camera feed overlay.

Luna will be available to Prime subscribers on June 21 and June 22 and they will be able to play free for 7 days according to Amazon. After the 7-day period, users will have to pay $5.99 per month to continue to enjoy the service. Luna is still only available in the US.

It has also been reported that the Luna Controller, which launched alongside the game streaming service last year for $49.99, has been discounted by 30%. This brings the price down to $34.99.

The controller connects via the cloud to the streaming service which reduces roundtrip latency by 17 to 30 ms compared to a local Bluetooth connection. There is no official info about any of these smartphones, so, at the moment, we can only rely on rumors and speculations. LetsGoDigital has just discovered some patents and trademarks filed by TCL which may be related to the phone codenamed Uni. According to the patents, the design of this device may be similar to BlackBerry Priv, the first Android phones released by the Canadian giant, before being acquired by TCL.

The patent regards the camera module and if you want to get more info about it you can visit our dedicated article. Anyway, take it with a pinch of salt as some rumors are pointing out that this design is just a reference point to describe the patent.

BlackBerry Athena is rumored to be a device with a physical QWERTY keyboard included, and it is expected to be released in two variants with different model numbers: BBE100-1 and BBF100-1. It is also tipped to come with 6 or even 8 GB of RAM, paired with 64 GB of internal storage. This makes us thinks that we may be talking about a high-end device: the first real high-end phone released by TCL under the BB brand. Rumors are suggesting that the phone may be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC, which is actually the best midrange SoC released by Qualcomm. At last, there is Luna, but we don’t have much details about it. It is rumored to be a mid-range phone which aims to focus on the quality-price ratio. It may come with a physical keyboard just as the Athena, but for now we are only talking about speculations.
