Steps to install TWRP on Redmi Note 8 Pro

4. Connect your device with PC via a USB cable.
5. Now, turn off your device and execute the following command to reboot into the bootloader mode. (Note: Press OK if a popup to “Allow USB debugging” comes.)

6. Now to flash the TWRP, make sure to execute the following command after renaming the recovery file to twrp.img.

   fastboot flash recovery twrp.img

7. Now, reboot your device upon typing the below command. (Note: Sometimes, the stock ROM replaces the TWRP. IN order to prevent that, hold the Volume UP + Power Key after typing the below command.)

   fastboot reboot

8. You can normally reboot the device from TWRP and enjoy the TWRP recovery.

6. After a successful flash, type the command to reboot the device:

Note: The device might not automatically replace the custom recovery during the first boot. The user needs to press the proper key combination to enter the TWRP Mode. After successfully executing ‘fastboot reboot’ command, press and hold the proper key combination to enter the TWRP Mode.

4. Connect your device with the PC via a USB cable.

6. Press and hold the Volume Up + Power button to boot into the fastboot mode.

Xiaomi Mi A3 specification

Steps to root Xiaomi Mi A3

Follow all the steps carefully. Otherwise, your device might get bricked.

1. You should have unlocked the bootloader of Mi A3.
2. Enable Developer Mode by tapping MIUI version 7 times after heading to the Settings > About Phone.
3. Also, enable USB Debugging by heading to the Settings>Developer Option and toggle USB Debugging.
4. Now, connect your phone with PC via the USB cable.
5. Copy the downloaded boot.img to your phone’s internal (or external) memory.
6. Also, place a copy of boot.img in your ADB and Fastboot extracted folder.
7. Download and install Magisk Manager on your phone.
8. Open Magisk Manager app and patch the file by going to Install > Install (once again) > Select Patch a file and then browse the location where you stored the stock boot.img.
9. Upon selection, the Magisk manager will patch the boot image and will store it in internal memory/Download/magisk_patched.img.
10. Move the patched file from your mobile to PC. (Note: place the patched file in the same extracted ADB and Fastboot folder).
11. If you can’t find the file using MTP mode, you can pull it via below mentioned ADB command:

    adb pull /sdcard/Download/magisk_patched.img

12. Now, uninstall Magisk manager App from Xiaomi Mi A3.
13. Connect the phone with PC via USB cable. Now flash the patched boot image on your smartphone. Execute the following command:

    adb reboot bootloader

14. After rebooting into the fast boot mode, type the following command to flash patched boot:

    fastboot flash boot magisk_patched.img

15. Just after successfully flashing the fastboot, type the continue command instead of reboot:

    fastboot continue

16. Upon successful boot-up, install Magisk Manager and enjoy the root access.

Install TWRP on Redmi Note 7 Pro

It is recommended that you carefully follow all the steps mentioned below.

Pre-Requisites:

• Make sure your battery is charged above 50%.
• Backup your Data on any external media or perform a Nandroid backup.
• Download ADB and Fastboot Drivers on the PC/Laptop.
• Download latest Xiaomi USB Drivers on the PC
• Download and save twrp-3.2.3-violet.img it to the Extracted folder of ADB – Fastboot drivers.
• Unlocked Bootloader of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro.

Steps to install TWRP on Redmi Note 7 Pro

1. If Redmi Note 7’s Bootloader is unlocked, then you’re good to go with the next steps.
2. Enable the Debugging Mode, and OEM unlock on your device. Both the options can be found in the Developer Options.
3. Now, connect your device with PC via USB cable.
4. Extract ADB and Fastboot drivers in a folder on the PC. Then, Open the cmd or PowerShell by pressing Shift key + Right-Clicking in the same folder.
   
5. Once all the setup is complete, type the following command to reboot the Redmi Note 7 Pro into the fastboot mode (Note: Accept a pop-up asking for the USB debugging permission on your smartphone).

   adb reboot bootloader

6. After booting into the fastboot mode, type the below-mentioned command to flash the TWRP image you download. (Note: Place the twrp-3.2.3-violet.img file in the ADB and Fastboot extracted the folder.)

   fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.2.3-violet.img

7. After the successful flashing, reboot the device using the following command:

   fastboot reboot

8. Enjoy!

You have successfully installed TWRP Recovery on Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro. In the next step, we will flash Magisk to get root access on teh device.

Root Redmi Note 7 Pro using Magisk

Make Sure to download the Magisk zip and Disable Encryption patch and move them to the phone’s storage.

• • Download Magisk.Zip and Disable Force Encryption Treble and move them to the Phone storage.

1. After rebooting, connect your device with the PC to get root access.
2. Type the ADB command to boot into the TWRP recovery successfully:

   adb reboot recovery

3. The device will automatically boot into TWRP, now take a NANDroid backup if you need data.
4. Now, Select “Install” from the TWRP and browse for the Magisk.zip file. Tap on it to select it.
5. Now, “Swipe to confirm flash” action.
6. Upon successful installation, select “Install” once again and locate “no-verity-force-encrypt.zip” file. Tap it to select it.
7. Again “Swipe to confirm flash” action.
8. Reboot System from TWRP Recovery.
9. Upon rebooting, a Magisk Manager application will be present from where you can control the access of each app.
10. You can also install the Root Checker app to verify root access.

Steps to install TWRP on OnePlus 7 Pro

1. Enable USB Debugging and connect your device with Computer.
2. Open Command prompt or PowerShell by going to the extracted ADB Folder in your PC/Laptop.
   
3. Now connect your Mobile with the Computer via USB.
4. Copy TWRP zip and Magisk Manager apk file into phone’s internal storage.
5. Reboot your device into bootloader by typing the command in CMD:

   adb reboot bootloader

6. Check the slot which is active by typing the command below:

   fastboot getvar current-slot

7. Select the non-active slot and change slot-name with actual slot name (delete inverted commas also).

   fastboot --set-active="slot name"

8. Now flash the TWRP on your device by replacing the recovery-name.

   fastboot flash recovery recovery-name.img

9. Now reboot the device from TWRP Recovery, and select the previously active slot by:

   fastboot --set-active="slot name"

10. Now Go back and Install the TWRP Installer.
11. Once done, then reboot.

You have successfully installed OnePlus 7 Pro on OnePlus 7 Pro.

How to root OnePlus 7 Pro (Magisk)

Once you have successfully installed TWRP on OnePlus 7 Pro, you can proceed to root Oneplus 7 Pro. Follow the steps below carefully

1. Install Magisk apk on OnePlus 7 Pro.
2. Now connect your PC with mobile.
3. Reboot your device into bootloader, and open the command prompt by pressing shift+right-click and open “Windows Powershell” or ” open command windows here.”

4. After the device is successfully connected, type the fastboot command to flash patched boot image:

Poco F1 is one of the best budget flagships Xiaomi has ever made. It comes with all the features that you want in a high-end smartphone sans some negligible shortcomings. If you own a Poco F1 and to unlock the full potential of the phone, you might want to root it. Thus, here in this article, we will guide you step by step on how to root Poco F1.

Last year, out of the blue, Xiaomi formed a sub-brand named Poco focussing on budget flagship smartphones. The first phone which is Poco F1 or Pocophone F1 became popular in a short period and for a good reason. The phone features the top of the line Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU coupled with either 6 or 8 GB of RAM. It comes in three storage variants – 6GB RAM / 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM / 128GB ROM, and 8GB RAM / 256GB ROM. Additionally, it also supports storage expansion up to 256GB via microSD card.

Though the body of Poco F1 is made of polycarbonate (plastic), it is strong enough to withhold accidental drops, and therefore it is much better than the fragile glass back we seen on premium smartphones these days. As far as cameras are concerned, the phone features a dual camera array at the back which consists of a 12MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor. The camera specification might seem outdated as all OEMs including Xiaomi have moved to triple or more cameras now. The only downside which we could think of Poco F1 would be its 6.18 inches FHD+ (1080 x 2246 pixels) IPS LCD with a wide notch. • Download Magisk Framework ZIP.

Step1: Unlock Bootloader of OnePlus 6

It is a necessary step before attaining root access on any Android smartphone. To Unlock Oneplus 6 Bootloader, follow the steps below carefully:

1. Backup important data on another device as unlocking will wipe it.
2. Enable Developer Mode by going to Settings> About Phone and, then tap “Build Number” 7 times.
3. Head over to Settings> System> Developer options, and enable “OEM Unlocking” with a toggle.
   
4. In Developer Options, also enable “Advanced Reboot”.
   
5. Now long press Power Button and tap “Reboot,” then “Bootloader”.
6. Download and install ADB and Fastboot drivers.
7. Open command prompt in the extracted ADB and Fastboot folder.
   
8. Verify device connection with the following command:

   fastboot devices

9. After successful verification, send this command to unlock the bootloader:

   fastboot oem unlock

10. Verify by highlighting the ‘Unlock the Bootloader’ option using the volume button and then selecting it with the power button.

We suggest not to set up any security settings if you want to root OnePlus 6.

Custom Recovery like TWRP gives Android smartphone’s ability to flash custom ROMs and tweak every part of the firmware. The GUI based recovery is the most used custom recovery for Android devices. Follow the steps carefully to install TWRP on OnePlus 6.

1. Download TWRP image and Installer for your OnePlus 6 from Prerequisites menu above.
2. Extract Fastboot and ADB drivers on desktop.

11. Once done, Tap Install and select the ‘twrp-installer-enchilada-3.2.3-0.zip‘ from internal storage.
