<p>According to a new video from <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhgtBxzroLI" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Jon Prosser</a> (Via <a href="https://9to5mac.com/2021/05/25/m1x-mac-mini-reportedly-to-feature-thinner-chassis-redesign-use-same-magnetic-power-connector-as-new-imac/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>9To5Mac</em></a>), the upcoming Mac mini with the next gen M1X chipset will introduce a new generation of industrial design for the company&#8217;s standalone Mac. In the video, Prosser claims that the 2021 Mac mini will feature a new chassis with a &#8220;plexiglass like&#8221; reflective surface on the top, which is a departure from the traditional aluminum enclosure. This model is apparently set to replace the higher end space grey Intel Mac mini in the lineup, while the M1 Mac mini will be the entry level model.</p>
<p>Notably, while the M1 Mac mini had a lack of ports due to limitations of the first gen Apple Silicon, the M1X will be able to offer a full lineup of ports. This includes four USB4/ Thunderbolt 3 ports, along with two USB Type A, Ethernet, and HDMI out ports as well. Furthermore, the Cupertino based giant will also be offering the magnetic power connecter that the company first introduced with its M1 iMacs.</p>
<figure id="attachment_353316" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-353316" style="width: 715px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-353316 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/apple-m1.png?x44794" alt="Apple m1 chip" width="715" height="402" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/apple-m1.png 715w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/apple-m1-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/apple-m1-696x391.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 715px) 100vw, 715px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-353316" class="wp-caption-text">M1 chipset</figcaption></figure>
<p>Prosser added that the iPhone maker might offer a two tone color range with the new glass like finish on the M1X Mac mini, which will be similar to the new and colorful iMacs. Unfortunately, this is still an unconfirmed report and speculation at the moment, so take this report with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for more, as we will be providing updates when additional information or notable developments surface regarding this device.</p>

<p>According to a <a href="https://www.patentlyapple.com/patently-apple/2021/03/apple-wins-a-patent-for-multiple-styles-of-magnetic-smart-connector-systems.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>PatentlyApple</em> </a>report, the Cupertino based giant has patented various styles of smart connectors. This patent arrives despite wireless charging being the direction the company is taking. But, it seems that the magnetic connectors are still an option being contemplated by Apple. For those unaware, the first smart magnetic connector used in an Apple product was the iPad, which was able to connect to the accompanying smart keyboard.</p>
<p>The new patent from the iPhone maker covers the various forms of the connectors for an accessory device, which is capable of delivering power and data with an electronic device. Looking at the patent sketches, the connector includes a recessed point of contact that are capable of magnetically attach to an electronic device that supports it. An alternative design of the smart connector was also patented for iPhones. This variant was designed to keep water and debris from entering the handset.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class=" wp-image-374514 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/6a0120a5580826970c027880190385200d-800wi.jpg?x44794" alt="Apple" width="489" height="434" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/6a0120a5580826970c027880190385200d-800wi.jpg 800w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/6a0120a5580826970c027880190385200d-800wi-300x266.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/6a0120a5580826970c027880190385200d-800wi-768x682.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/6a0120a5580826970c027880190385200d-800wi-696x618.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/6a0120a5580826970c027880190385200d-800wi-473x420.jpg 473w" sizes="(max-width: 489px) 100vw, 489px" /></p>
<p>In other words, Apple might be considering this technology to arrive with future iPhone models. These connectors and ports can be observed in multiple designs with one being a sliding connection, while another featured rounded connector pins that go into a compatible port on the iPhone. Unfortunately, it is unknown if the company is actually working on such a design or just covering all bases. So stay tuned for more updates.</p>

<div class="description">
<p>The Zeblaze Miniwear will be the latest in a sucessful range of Smartwatches from the <a href="http://www.zeblaze.com/">Zeblaze company</a>.</p>
<p>What will help to set the Zeblaze Miniwear apart from other Smartwatches is its form factor, the Miniwear has a 240 x 240 resolution 1.2″ IPS display, with a single 3d ARC lens to provide the highest quality with great viewing angles.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone wp-image-1873 size-full" src="http://www.gadgetz.tv/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_05042016_173854.png" alt="zeblaze miniwear display" width="1000" height="481" /></p>
<p>The Zeblaze Miniwear features a Mediatec MTK2502C SOC, to provide you with up to 30% savings in battery usage and a performance increase of up to 60% over the previous Mediatec SOC.</p>
<p>With these improvements usage should not just be fast, but should keep the watch going long after other wearables have run out of juice.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone wp-image-1874 size-full" src="http://www.gadgetz.tv/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_05042016_173902.png" alt="zeblaze miniwear soc" width="1000" height="449" /></p>
<p>Zeblaze have provided a selection of five dial designs from 10 top designers, giving you a different dial to suit whatever occasion or outfit you are wearing.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone wp-image-1875 size-full" src="http://www.gadgetz.tv/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_05042016_173910.png" alt="zeblaze miniwear faces" width="1000" height="449" /></p>
<p>The watches chassis will be available in both Stainless Steel and Gold finishes, with a choice of brown or Black crocodile skin style leather straps.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone wp-image-1877 size-full" src="http://www.gadgetz.tv/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/zeblaze-mini-black-gold.jpg" alt="zeblaze miniwear black and gold" width="1000" height="474" /></p>
<p>The Zeblaze Miniwear will feature a magnetic suction charging solution, similar to Apple’s range of Macbook computers.</p>
<p>When you bring the connector close to the back of the watch, it will attach to form a convenient connection to easily charge your Zeblaze Miniwear Smartwatch.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone wp-image-1876 size-full" src="http://www.gadgetz.tv/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/IMG_05042016_173918.png" alt="zeblaze miniwear mag connector" width="1000" height="463" /></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
