The very same phone was made available as Mate 10 Lite in European markets. The Mate 10 Lite / Maimang 6 was launched ahead of the Mate 10 series that was unveiled in October 2017. Today, the Maimang 7 has appeared on TENAA with its images. However, the TENAA listing of the smartphone is yet to be populated with its entire specifications. It is very likely that the Maimang 7 will be arriving in the European markets as Mate 20 Lite. Now that the handset has appeared on the website of the Chinese telecom regulatory body, there is a possibility that the company may launch the Maimang 7 soon in China.

A new Huawei phone that has a model number of SNE-AL00 has appeared on TENAA. It was recently revealed that model numbers such as SNE-AL00, SN-AL00B, SNE-LX1, SNE-LX2, SNE-LX3 and SNE-TL00 all belong to the upcoming Mate 20 Lite. As mentioned above, the SNE-AL00 could be landing in China as Maimang 7.

The front image of the smartphone does not clearly reveal whether the Maimang 7 will be featuring a notched display or not. However, the handset seems to be fitted with dual front cameras. The layout of the camera sensors suggest that the Maimang 7 may feature a notched display. If the Mate 20 Lite arrives with a notched screen, there is a possibility that the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro may feature the same kind of display.

A recent report has claimed that because of the presence of 3D structured light module, the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro could be equipped with notched screens. The rear side of the Maimang 7 which seems to be made out of glass features a vertically arranged dual camera system. Below it is a fingerprint scanner. There is a Maimang logo at the bottom portion on the back panel which confirms the identity of the smartphone. The appearance of the rear panel of Maimang 6 is similar to Mate 10 Porsche Design smartphone.

The Kirin 659 had powered the Maimang 6. Hence, it is very likely that the Kirin 710 may power the Maimang 7. Like the Mate 20 and Mate 20 series, it may also run on EMIU 9 based Android 9.0 P. Last year, the Maimang was released on Sept. 22 in China. Hence, there is a possibility that the company may announce the Maimang 7 by the end of this month or early September.

The smartphone has now appeared on GFXBench benchmarking site to reveal its key specifications.

The Huawei RNE-AL00 smartphone that had received certification from TENAA in China earlier this month is speculated to debut as Maimang 6 or Huawei G10. The alleged smartphone has appeared on GFXBench as “Huawei Maimang 6 (RNE-xxx).” According to the benchmarking site, the handset features a 5.4-inch display that offers a full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. However, the TENAA listing suggests that it would be coming with 18:9 aspect ratio display that will support FHD+ resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels.

The handset is powered by HiSilicon Hi6250 chipset that includes a 2.3 GHz octa-core processor and Mali-T830 graphics. This suggests that the smartphone could be powered by Kirin 659 chipset. It includes 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.

For photography, it features a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel front camera. These cameras are capable of shooting full HD videos. Recent reports have revealed that the Maimang 6 would be equipped dual camera at its front as well as rear sides. GFXBench does not specifically mention the exact configurations for dual camera sensors. Hence, the Maimang 6 listing on GFXBench does not include details of dual rear and front snappers.

The TENAA listing has revealed that the Maimang 6 has 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup on its rear side and the frontside features 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera system on its front. GFXBench listing reveals that the handset will arrive preinstalled with Android 7.0 Nougat overlaid with EMUI skin.

Blass has recently revealed juicy details on the specifications of the Huawei Mate 10 Lite. The unique selling points of the phone are its dual front and dual rear cameras in addition to its full-screen display. Just a few days ahead of its release, live images showing the front and rear of the device have been posted online.

The unit leaked is the silver variant which has a white front just like the official render of the black variant leaked by Evan Blass a few days ago.

The display is a 5.9-inch screen but thanks to the reduced bezels, it will have a compact size compared to other large screen phablets. The image of the front gives us a look at the dual front facing cameras, sensor, earpiece as well as a front flash. The bezel at the bottom has the Huawei branding.

Huawei has adopted a vertical design for the dual rear cameras. Above it and integrated into the antenna line is the LED flash. Beneath the camera setup sits a fingerprint scanner. There is the Maimang series logo and the Huawei name at the bottom of the phone.

The Maimang 6 will be official on Friday and will be available in black, blue, gold, and silver.
