<h3>Oppo introduces advanced Bluetooth SoC with MariSilicon Y chip</h3>



<p>Oppo, has announced the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/12/14/oppo-air-glass-2-smart-glasses/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">release of its second</a> in-house chip, the MariSilicon Y Bluetooth SoC (Stereo Optic Compressor), following the release of its first custom imaging NPU, the MariSilicon X. The MariSilicon Y is one of the first SoCs to use the advanced N6RF processing technology, offering users a brand new Pro Bluetooth Package that increases the Bluetooth bandwidth by an impressive 50% compared to other advanced Bluetooth SoC products on the market.</p>

<p>The solution is equipped with a special URLC codec technology and a dedicated NPU with up to 590 GOPS of computational power on the device. Through Bluetooth, the MariSilicon Y can transmit ultra-clear lossless audio at a quality of 24 bits/192kHz, providing users with the same audio quality as a wired connection with the added benefits of a wireless connection. This allows users to enjoy the highest digital audio quality with wireless Bluetooth earbuds and headphones.</p>



<p>The MariSilicon Y chip also adopts the N6RF process, which is two generations ahead of the 16nm process used by most RF chips, increasing the energy efficiency of RF transistors by 66% and reducing their size by 33%. The dedicated NPU on the end-side of the chip offers 590 billion calculations per second, providing users with the first sound separation technology on the earphone end-side, similar to spatial audio.</p>



<p>Additionally, the MariSilicon Y supports dynamic code rate adaptive technology, which can automatically and flexibly adjust the codec rate in a range of 80Kbps-10Mbps, providing stable and interference-free audio in crowded environments or quiet study rooms. This ensures that users always experience high-quality audio.</p>

<p>Inno Day 2022, Oppo&#8217;s annual event to showcase new products, is scheduled for December 14 this year. The phone maker is expected to introduce a bunch of new stuff during the event. The new foldable Find N2 series is confirmed to debut during the second day of the event. Oppo will also unveil its second self-developed chip, dubbed Mariana MariSilicon Y. It is an audio-specific chipset that will improve the sound quality of Bluetooth headsets. Here are the details.</p>



<p><a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/oppo">Oppo</a> India recently posted a video on YouTube (now unlisted) detailing the new MariSilicon Y chipset. The video reveals MariSilicon Y is a Bluetooth audio chip that supports 24-bit/192kHz ultra-high quality lossless audio, up to 12Mbps bandwidth, and AI algorithm up to 590 GOPS.</p>

<p>It will come with local Music Extraction technology and personalized spatial audio. It will use a TSMC N6RF chip, which is based on advanced RF CMOS technology. More details about the new chipset will be announced at the time of launch. We’ll keep you posted.</p>



<p>As mentioned, the Oppo Find N2 series will also debut during the event. The lineup includes the new Oppo Find N2 horizontally folding phone and Oppo Find N2 Flip.</p>



<p>Leaks suggest the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/products/oppo-find-n2">Find N2</a> will feature a 7.1-inch LTPO <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/amoled">AMOLED display</a> with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/qualcomm">Qualcomm</a> Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, coupled with 12GB of RAM. It will have a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP lens, and a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto lens.</p>



<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-find-n2-flip/">Find N2 Flip</a> could have a 6.8-inch AMOLED display that offers a resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It may be powered by the Dimensity 9000 chipset, paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. The device is expected to have a 4,300mAh battery with 44W charging.</p>
