At that time, we were almost sure that this new phone was going to be the awaited Mate 8 flagship. However, earlier today Chinese media reported that the company might postpone the release of the Mate 8 to the end of this year, or next year. Instead, it would release another device in the Mate family at IFA.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/huawei-ascend-mate-7.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-45974 size-large" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/huawei-ascend-mate-7-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="huawei-mate-7-mate-8" width="800" height="450" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/huawei-ascend-mate-7-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/huawei-ascend-mate-7-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/huawei-ascend-mate-7-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/huawei-ascend-mate-7-640x360.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/huawei-ascend-mate-7-681x383.jpg 681w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/huawei-ascend-mate-7.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></a></p>
<p>It is said that <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/07/06/huawei-mate-8-render-leaked-rumored-to-feature-kirin-950-chipset/">the Kirin 950</a> which is supposed to power the Mate 8 will only be released sometime in October. So, the company could announce a different smartphone at the September event, like an upgraded version of the Mate 7, probably called as the Mate 7 Plus or the Mate 7S.</p>

<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/mate-7-plus-02.jpg?x44794'><img width="560" height="380" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/mate-7-plus-02.jpg?x44794" class="attachment-large size-large" alt="" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/mate-7-plus-02.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/mate-7-plus-02-300x204.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px" /></a>
<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/mate-7-plus-01.jpg?x44794'><img width="560" height="380" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/mate-7-plus-01.jpg?x44794" class="attachment-large size-large" alt="" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/mate-7-plus-01.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/mate-7-plus-01-300x204.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px" /></a>

<p>In fact, we have already seen a couple of renders, which could be of the new smartphone. While we guessed that it could be the new Mate 8, but after considering this report and the striking resemblance to the Mate 7 flagship design, the leaked renders might be of the Mate 7 Plus. The phone is also said to come with surprising new high-end tech. But the report failed to specify any details.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, Huawei has not yet announced any details about its new Mate flagship. So, we will have to wait until we get some concrete information about the upcoming device.</p>

Like most tech giants, Hasee too entered the smartphone industry a few years back, but recently we have not heard much about the company&#8217;s smartphone releases.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/hasee-mate-7-phone.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-43539" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/hasee-mate-7-phone.jpg?x44794" alt="hasee mate 7 phone" width="650" height="419" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/hasee-mate-7-phone.jpg 650w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/hasee-mate-7-phone-300x194.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/hasee-mate-7-phone-341x220.jpg 341w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/hasee-mate-7-phone-640x413.jpg 640w" sizes="(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px" /></a></p>
<p>However, earlier today, spy photos of what looks to be a new Hasee device was leaked online. The device takes its design inspiration from Huawei&#8217;s Mate 7. In fact, its impressive to see that the screen to body ratio is low, thanks to its slim bezels. The device looks large, so it could feature a 6-inch display as the Mate 7.</p>
<p>At the back, there is the camera unit, Hasee logo and interestingly a rectangular space which looks like a fingerprint sensor. But we are not quite sure whether its a fingerprint sensor or a rear button. There are no speakers at the back, so it could be at the bottom. The UI on the device looks interesting, and it could be the company&#8217;s own custom ROM.</p>
<p>Another Hasee device was leaked today, but its not as good looking as the first one. In fact, from the looks, it could be an entry level device with modest specifications.</p>
<p>Hasee has not yet announced these two devices officially, but it is said that both could run on the new 64-bit Mediatek processors. No details about the RAM, storage, display, camera or battery have been revealed. But stay tuned for more updates.</p>

<p><span style="font-family: Georgia, serif;">Two pictures of Huawei Ascend Mate 7 which is supposed to be released on September 14th at IFA2014 were leaked today. From the pictures we can see it features a big screen with super thin bezels that seems even thinner than the previously leaked MX4. And both the chin parts of the front panel are very short, giving users a lot of screen estate to work with.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia, serif;">The Huawei logo is located in the bottom of the screen, which assures us that Huawei Mate 7 went with on-screen buttons, like any other Huawei premium phones did.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia, serif;">From the back we can see it went with the three-piece design. The middle part should be metal. There&#8217;s also a 13-megapixel camera with a single LED flash on the left. Just below the camera, there&#8217;s this fingerprint sensor which is slightly dented.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Georgia, serif;">What should be noted is that this phone is already listed on the website of the Ministry for Industry and Information Technology, so its specs are no secret. It comes with a 6-inch 1080p display, a 1.8GHz octa-core CPU, 2G of ram, a 13-megapixels main camera and 5 megapixels for the front-facing one. There also could be a hign-end version, with the display upgraded to 2K and comes with 3G of ram. But it&#8217;s all rumors. We&#8217;ll see if it&#8217;s true.</span></p>
