<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-358931 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/20201208_153711_67.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei" width="690" height="345" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/20201208_153711_67.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/20201208_153711_67-300x150.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></p>
<p>The new desktop PC is not available for the commercial market and is being aimed at businesses only. Although, this doesn&#8217;t mean that the PC is by any means just basic, as it arrives with a powerful AMD Ryzen 7 4700G processor and a capable Ryzen 5 4600G, both of which are APUs that feature integrated Radeon graphics. Although, an option to upgrade to high performance discrete GPUs is also being offered. It is paired with either 8GB or 16GB of dual channel 3200MHz DDR4 RAM and the cabinet arrives as a set with a smart keyboard and mouse, and display as well. For storage, 1TB of memory is offered via hard drives along with 256GB or 512GB of SSD storage as well.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-358934 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/20201127065140_2017.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei" width="813" height="400" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/20201127065140_2017.jpg 813w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/20201127065140_2017-300x148.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/20201127065140_2017-768x378.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/20201127065140_2017-324x160.jpg 324w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/20201127065140_2017-533x261.jpg 533w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/20201127065140_2017-696x342.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 813px) 100vw, 813px" /></p>
<p>The cabinet that houses the PC components adopts a grille design on the front but otherwise features a minimalistic aesthetic with a single color scheme. It arrives in matte black, which adds to its business and formal look. The cabinet&#8217;s total capacity is just 8 liters, which saves about 2/3 of space over a traditional desktop PC. Huawei also paid special attention to thermal management, equipping hte system with an intelligent temperature control system, which can automatically adjust fan speeds to manage temperatures.</p>

<p>Notably, the keyboard also has built in NFC, which can connect with smartphones through the shift key area, allowing for wireless data transfers from the smartphone to the computer. For security, the keyboard also offers a fingerprint scanner on the power button to safely boot up and unlock the system in a seamless manner.</p>

<p>For connectivity, the Huawei MateStation B515 offers USB Type C, support 9V/2A mobile phone fast charging, USB, HDMI, VGA serial port, and 2&#215;2 dual antenna WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 as well. Unfortunately, since the desktop PC is only available for enterprises, its official pricing was not revealed to the consumer market. We guessed the trademark was related to a dock for the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-mate-40/">Mate 40</a> series, something similar to Samsung&#8217;s Dex Station. Turns out our guess was far from correct. The Huawei MateStation is a desktop PC and the first model is the MateStation B515 which has just leaked.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-355070" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Huawei-MateStation-B515.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei MateStation B515" width="680" height="388" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Huawei-MateStation-B515.jpg 680w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Huawei-MateStation-B515-300x171.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px" /></p>
<p>Huawei made its entry into the PC business a few years ago but it has kept the category limited to notebooks. With the Huawei MateStation B515, it has officially announced its entry into the desktop category.</p>
<p>The new computer is going to be a big deal as it will most likely not be powered by a CPU from Intel or AMD but a Kirin processor that is based on ARM architecture, just like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/11/apple-unveils-the-m1-chipset-a-powerful-8-core-processor-for-the-mac/">Apple&#8217;s M1 silicon</a>. That processor is the Kunpeng 920.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-355078" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Huawei-MateStation-B515-b.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei MateStation B515" width="723" height="623" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Huawei-MateStation-B515-b.jpg 723w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Huawei-MateStation-B515-b-300x259.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Huawei-MateStation-B515-b-696x600.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Huawei-MateStation-B515-b-487x420.jpg 487w" sizes="(max-width: 723px) 100vw, 723px" /></p>
<p><strong>Kunpeng 920 Desktop Board</strong></p>
<p>The 7nm Kunpeng 920 processor is the name of the CPU and it comes in 4-core and 8-core configurations with a clock speed of 2.6GHz. Images posted by the Chinese leaker, Changan Digital King, show a desktop board based on the processor. He speculates that this may be the board that will be found in the MateStation B515.</p>
<p>The specs of the board mention that it has 4 DDR4-2400 UDIMM slots with a maximum capacity of 64GB. It also has 6 SATA 3.0 hard drive interfaces, 2 M.2 SSD slots; 1 PCIe 3.0 x 16, 1 PCIe 3.0 x4, and 1 PCIe 3.0 x1 slots; 4 USB 3. ports, 4 USB 2.0 ports, and 2 LOM NIC supporting GE network ports or optical ports.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-355076" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Kunpeng-920-Board.jpg?x44794" alt="Kunpeng 920 Board" width="360" height="480" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Kunpeng-920-Board.jpg 360w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Kunpeng-920-Board-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Kunpeng-920-Board-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px" /></p>
<p>The MateStation B515 is said to come bundled with a 23.8-inch monitor with narrow bezels that measure 5.72 mm, a 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 178° field of view, and a 72% NTSC color gamut.</p>
<p>The MateStation B515 will most likely be marketed towards use in offices and professional spaces, allowing it to compete with workstations from <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/lenovo">Lenovo</a>, <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/dell">Dell</a>, and <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/hp">HP</a>.</p>
