Budding Chinese brand Oppo has signed a deal with supermodel Maye Musk, the mum of the world’s richest man, Elon Musk. The arrangement will see the supermodel will be the brand face of the flagship Oppo Find X6 Pro. The global ambassador position for the 75-year-old dietician will see her appearing in commercials and other events to promote the flagship.

The Oppo Find X6 Pro comes with a powerful camera setup. Indeed it is touted as the best camera smartphone in the world. There is a sprinkling of photos from the official photo shoot of the smartphone leaked via YouTube. Maye Musk was seen in the commercial holding a toy plane and talking about her childhood. She is also seen stressing how she had an adventurous childhood and her three children inherited her perseverance.

The commercial is yet to be officially released by Oppo. It is however an enthralling and incisive intervention by the senior Musk. How Oppo was able to land the big fish of Maye Musk as its global ambassador will be an interesting read. Oppo will leverage Musk’s popularity as an effective promotional tool. Maye Musk is an icon on her own, but this has been further accentuated significantly by her billionaire son, Elon. She has had an illustrious modeling career for the most part of 5 decades and the brown-colored Find X6 Pro spotted by Maye further accentuated the supermodel’s looks in a maroon dress.

The Oppo Find X6 Pro was unveiled in China in March 2023 and comes with an impressive spec list. The smartphone is signposted by its impressive camera setup. The Oppo flagship has been recognized by DXOMARK as the world’s best camera smartphone with a total camera score of 153 points. It was ahead of the iPhone 14 Pro Max and Google Pixel 7 Pro to nick the top position. It has a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens. It is equipped with a 6.82-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.
