<figure class="wp-block-table is-style-regular" style="font-size:13px"><table class="has-white-color has-black-background-color has-text-color has-background"><thead><tr><th></th><th>Dimensity 7300</th><th>Dimensity 7200</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Announced</td><td>June 2024</td><td>February 2023</td></tr><tr><td>Process node</td><td>4nm (TSMC)</td><td>4nm (TSMC)</td></tr><tr><td>Cores</td><td>8</td><td>8</td></tr><tr><td>CPU architecture</td><td>4 x Cortex-A78 @ 2.5 GHz<br>4 x Cortex-A55 @ 2 GHz</td><td>2 x Cortex-A715 @ 2.8 GHz<br>6 x Cortex-A510 @ 2 GHz</td></tr><tr><td>GPU</td><td>Mali-G615 MC2<br>MediaTek HyperEngine</td><td>Mali-G610 MP4<br>MediaTek HyperEngine</td></tr><tr><td>NPU</td><td>MediaTek NPU 655</td><td>MediaTek APU 650</td></tr><tr><td>Camera</td><td>Imagiq 950 ISP (12-bit)<br>Up to 200MP camera</td><td>Imagiq 765 ISP (14-bit)<br>Up to 200MP camera</td></tr><tr><td>Memory</td><td>LPDDR4X, LPDDR5<br>Up to 6400Mbps</td><td>LPDDR4X, LPDDR5<br>Up to 6400Mbps</td></tr><tr><td>Storage</td><td>UFS 3.1</td><td>UFS 3.1</td></tr><tr><td>Display</td><td>WFHD+ @ 120Hz<br>Full HD+ @ 144Hz</td><td>Full HD+ @ 144Hz</td></tr><tr><td>Connectivity</td><td>MediaTek 5G modem<br>Downlink: 3.27 Gbps<br>Wi-Fi 6E<br>Bluetooth 5.4</td><td>MediaTek 5G modem<br>Downlink: 4.7 Gbps<br>Wi-Fi 6E<br>Bluetooth 5.3</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<h2>MediaTek Dimensity 7300 vs Dimensity 7200 &#8211; Benchmark comparison</h2>

<p class="has-background" style="background-color:#e8e9ea"><em>Note: The tests were conducted on the iQOO Z10x (Dimensity 7300) and iQOO Z9 (Dimensity 7200).</em></p>

<h3>AnTuTu comparison</h3>

<figure class="wp-block-table" style="font-size:13px"><table class="has-background" style="background-color:#e8e9ea"><thead><tr><th></th><th>Dimensity 7300</th><th>Dimensity 7200</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>AnTuTu score</td><td>698,377</td><td>726,538</td></tr><tr><td>CPU</td><td>201,825</td><td>239,432</td></tr><tr><td>GPU</td><td>148,546</td><td>175,592</td></tr><tr><td>Memory</td><td>187,384</td><td>126,586</td></tr><tr><td>UX</td><td>160,622</td><td>184,928</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<p>In the AnTuTu benchmark comparison, the Dimensity 7200 takes the lead with an overall score of 726,538 — about 4% higher than the Dimensity 7300’s 698,377. This edge primarily comes from its stronger CPU and GPU performance. The 7200’s CPU score is 239,432, which is roughly 19% higher than the 7300’s 201,825, and its GPU score is also about 18% better, making it more capable for gaming and demanding tasks.</p>

<p>However, the Dimensity 7300 pulls ahead in memory performance, scoring 187,384 compared to 126,586 — a 48% improvement. This suggests smoother multitasking and faster app loading. Still, with higher scores in CPU, GPU, and UX, the Dimensity 7200 shows slightly better all-around performance.</p>

<h3>Geekbench comparison</h3>

<figure class="wp-block-table" style="font-size:13px"><table class="has-background" style="background-color:#e8e9ea"><tbody><tr><td></td><td><strong>Dimensity 7300</strong></td><td><strong>Dimensity 7200</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Single core</td><td>875</td><td>1,157</td></tr><tr><td>Multi core</td><td>2,561</td><td>2,674</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<p>In Geekbench tests, the Dimensity 7200 clearly outperforms the Dimensity 7300 in both single-core and multi-core scores. With a single-core score of 1,157, it delivers a 32% performance boost over the 7300’s 875. This means faster app launches, better UI responsiveness, and snappier everyday usage.</p>

<p>The multi-core difference is smaller but still in favor of the 7200, scoring 2,674 compared to the 7300’s 2,561 — about a 4% improvement. Overall, the Dimensity 7200 offers stronger CPU performance, particularly in single-threaded tasks.</p>

<h2>MediaTek Dimensity 7300 vs Dimensity 7200 &#8211; key differences that matter</h2>

<p>Let’s understand why Dimensity 7200 outperforms 7300.</p>

<h3>Performance</h3>

<p>The Dimensity 7300 and 7200 are built using the same TSMC’s 4nm process, but they have different core structures. The Dimensity 7300 features four Cortex-A78 and four Cortex-A55 cores, whereas the Dimensity 7200 utilizes more powerful Cortex-A715 and Cortex-A510 cores. The latter chip also operates at a higher peak frequency.</p>

<p>The graphic tasks are handled by Mali-G615 MP2 on the Dimensity 7300 and Mali-G610 MP4 on the Dimensity 7200. The latter runs at a higher frequency (1130MHz vs 1047MHz) and features higher pipelines and FLOPS. The MediaTek chips also feature MediaTek HyperEngine for additional gaming enhancements.</p>

<h3>Camera</h3>

<p>The Dimensity 7300 chip features a 12-bit Imagiq 950 HDR-ISP, supporting up to 200MP camera. Additionally, it offers a range of camera features, including hardware MCNR, 4K video with HDR, and AI-based auto-exposure, auto-focus, and auto-white balance.</p>

<p>On the other hand, the Dimensity 7200 brings a 14-bit premium-grade Imagiq 765 HDR-ISP. It also supports up to 200MP camera, dual simultaneous video capture, and video EIS, similar to the Dimensity 7300, but doesn’t feature AI-based auto exposure. Both chips, however, support up to 4K/30fps video recording.</p>

<h3>Connectivity</h3>

<p>Both MediaTek chipsets feature integrated 5G modems, although the peak download speeds differ: 3.27Gbps (on the Dimensity 7300) and 4.7Gbps (on the Dimensity 7200). While the peak download speed is lower on Dimensity 7300, it features a newer Bluetooth 5.4 standard (vs 5.3 on Dimensity 7200). Everything else remains unchanged, meaning you get Wi-Fi 6E and the same set of positioning features on both chips.</p>

<h3>Display and storage</h3>

<p>The Dimensity 7300 supports a higher WFHD+ resolution at a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Dimensity 7200 peaks at FullHD+ (144Hz).</p>

<p>There’s no difference in terms of memory and storage — both MediaTek chips support UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR4x/LPDD5 with a maximum frequency of 6400Mbps.</p>

<h2>MediaTek Dimensity 7300 vs Dimensity 7200: Conclusion</h2>

<p>In conclusion, while the Dimensity 7300 appears newer and boasts advantages such as newer Bluetooth and support for higher display resolution, the Dimensity 7200 still comes out on top in overall performance. It consistently leads in benchmark scores, particularly in CPU and GPU performance, making it a better choice for users who prioritize speed, gaming, and responsiveness.</p>

<p>The Dimensity 7300 offers a few notable upgrades in specific areas, such as connectivity and multitasking, but it doesn’t deliver the performance leap you might expect from a successor. So, if performance is your primary concern, the Dimensity 7200 remains the more capable and well-rounded chipset in this matchup.</p>

<p>Vivo is gearing up to launch a new mid range smartphone soon from its T series. The company&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/01/30/vivo-t4x-vivo-y59-launch-india-soon-bis/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo T4x was previously spotted</a> getting certified in India, now, it has been spotted in another leak that confirmed its chipset. So let&#8217;s check it out.</p>

<h2>Vivo T4x may be equipped with the Dimensity 7300</h2>

<p>The Chinese smartphone maker is expected to launch the Vivo T4x next month. But ahead of the official announcement, a fresh report from <a href="https://www.mysmartprice.com/gear/mobiles/mobiles-news/exclusive-vivo-t4x-powered-mediatek-dimensity-7300-chipset/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><em>MySmartPrice </em></a>has revealed the upcoming smartphone will feature MediaTek&#8217;s Dimensity 7300 SoC. This processor apparently acquired a score of over 720,000 on the AnTuTu benchmark. For those unaware, the Vivo T4x is the direct successor to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-t3x-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo T3x </a>that launched back in 2024 with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Vivo-T3x-5G-1024x576.png?x44794" alt="Vivo T3x 5G" class="wp-image-619282" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Vivo-T3x-5G-1024x576.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Vivo-T3x-5G-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Vivo-T3x-5G-768x432.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Vivo-T3x-5G-696x392.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Vivo-T3x-5G-1068x601.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Vivo-T3x-5G-747x420.png 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Vivo-T3x-5G.png 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Vivo T3x</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>So we are getting a decent performance upgrade with the new chipset. Based on what we know so far, the Vivo T4x model will be equipped with a massive 6,500mAh battery pack, which is an upgrade from the 6,000mAh cell on the T3x. We can also expect a fast charging rate of around 44W to match its predecessor. The Vivo T4x will reportedly launch in two color options, namely Marine Blue and Pronto Purple. That&#8217;s not all, the Vivo T4x could also come with Dynamic light as well, which is LEDs that light up for notifications.</p>

<p>We can also expect a tall LCD panel on the front that offers a high refresh rate. This model would run on the Android 15 OS based Funtouch OS 15 custom skin. Unfortunately, that is all the information revealed in the new report, so stick around for more. </p>

<p>The Dimensity 7300 is a popular chipset among budget phones. It was released last year and already powers phones from multiple brands, including Motorola, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, and Nothing. We might see more devices using this chip in 2025 in the sub-INR 20,000 price segment.</p>

<p>The Dimensity chip in question has four performance cores and four power efficiency cores. To test its performance and see how it stacks up against its competitors, we ran it through multiple benchmarks, including AnTuTu and Geekbench. While these benchmarks do not reflect real-world performance, they offer a rough insight into a processor’s capabilities.</p>

<p class="has-background" style="background-color:#f8f8f8"><em>[<strong>Note:</strong> The following benchmark tests have been conducted on the CMF Phone (1), powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300.]</em></p>

<h2>MediaTek Dimensity 7300 AnTuTu score</h2>

<p>AnTuTu is a widely used benchmarking platform that runs a device through a series of tests that measure different aspects of its performance, such as CPU, GPU, memory, and UX. The combined score represents the overall performance of a device.</p>

<p>The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 has a total AnTuTu score of 646,742. As for the individual scores, the CPU gets 190224 points, the GPU gets 147566 points, Memory gets 144435 points, and the remaining 164514 points go to the UX.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-table" style="font-size:13px"><table class="has-background" style="background-color:#e8e9ea"><tbody><tr><td><strong>AnTuTu score</strong></td><td><strong>646,742</strong></td></tr><tr><td>CPU</td><td>190,224</td></tr><tr><td>GPU</td><td>147,566</td></tr><tr><td>Memory</td><td>144,435</td></tr><tr><td>UX</td><td>164,517</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<h2>MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Geekbench score</h2>

<p>Geekbench evaluates a device’s CPU performance through a series of tests designed around practical scenarios. The tests include image processing, compression (text and image), speech recognition, and PDF rendering.</p>

<p>On the Geekbench (v6) benchmarking platform, the Dimensity 7300 scored 1,026 points in the single-core test and 2,932 points in the multi-core test.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-table" style="font-size:13px"><table class="has-background" style="background-color:#e8e9ea"><tbody><tr><td><strong>Geekbench 6</strong></td><td></td></tr><tr><td>Single core</td><td>1,026</td></tr><tr><td>Multi core</td><td>2,932</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<p>The single-core score represents the CPU strength of a device when executing tasks using a single core. In contrast, the multi-core score evaluates how well a CPU can handle tasks when multiple cores are at work.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>MediaTek Dimensity 7300 3DMark Wild Life Stress Test</h2>

<p>This is a gaming test that evaluates sustained GPU performance under heavy workloads. The Mali-G615 CM2 GPU on the Dimensity 7300 delivers excellent stability of 98.9%. It gets the best loop score of 3,126 and the lowest loop score of 3,104.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-table" style="font-size:13px"><table class="has-background" style="background-color:#e8e9ea"><tbody><tr><td><strong>3DMark Wild Life Extreme Stress Test</strong></td><td></td></tr><tr><td>Best loop score</td><td>3,126</td></tr><tr><td>Lowest loop score</td><td>3,104</td></tr><tr><td>Stability</td><td>98.9%</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<p>The GPU delivers what you’d expect from a budget segment device. You can do lightweight gaming, but it might struggle with performance as you move to demanding games like Genshin Impact and Diablo Immortal.</p>

<p>The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 clearly dominates the AnTuTu benchmark compared to Dimensity 7300. Here, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3’s GPU is making the most significant difference, with over 70% higher score than the Dimensity 7300’s GPU, while the difference in CPU score is 30%. Memory performance, as per AnTuTu benchmarks, is better on Dimensity 7300, though.</p>

<p>Overall, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 has managed to pull off a 20% better AnTuTu score than the Dimensity 7300.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-table is-style-regular" style="font-size:13px"><table class="has-white-color has-black-background-color has-text-color has-background"><thead><tr><th></th><th>SD 7 Gen 3</th><th>Dimensity 7300</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>AnTuTu score</strong></td><td>809,241</td><td>672,402</td></tr><tr><td><strong>CPU</strong></td><td>264,788</td><td>203,267</td></tr><tr><td><strong>GPU</strong></td><td>258,403</td><td>147,861</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Memory</strong></td><td>124,720</td><td>161,780</td></tr><tr><td><strong>UX</strong></td><td>161,330</td><td>159,494</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<h3>Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 vs Dimensity 7300: Geekbench scores</h3>

<p>Geekbench evaluates a device’s performance through a series of tests designed around practical scenarios. Tests include image processing, compression (text and image), speech recognition, PDF rendering, and more. Geekbench is primarily used to evaluate the CPU performance of devices.</p>

<p>Here’s how the chips have performed on Geekbench 6:</p>

<div><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Snapdragon-7-Gen-3-vs-Dimensity-7300-Geekbench-score.png?x44794" class="td-modal-image"><figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1000" height="800" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Snapdragon-7-Gen-3-vs-Dimensity-7300-Geekbench-score.png?x44794" alt="Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 vs Dimensity 7300 Geekbench score" class="wp-image-655611" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Snapdragon-7-Gen-3-vs-Dimensity-7300-Geekbench-score.png 1000w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Snapdragon-7-Gen-3-vs-Dimensity-7300-Geekbench-score-300x240.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Snapdragon-7-Gen-3-vs-Dimensity-7300-Geekbench-score-768x614.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Snapdragon-7-Gen-3-vs-Dimensity-7300-Geekbench-score-696x557.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Snapdragon-7-Gen-3-vs-Dimensity-7300-Geekbench-score-525x420.png 525w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure></a></div>

<p>Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 also dominates Geekbench compared to Dimensity 7300, though the difference isn’t as significant as in AnTuTu benchmarks. That’s because both benchmarks perform different series of tests and have their own ways of calculating results. However, in all likelihood, the Snapdragon chip wins, at least on these benchmarks.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-table" style="font-size:13px"><table class="has-white-color has-black-background-color has-text-color has-background"><thead><tr><th></th><th>SD 7 Gen 3</th><th>Dimensity 7300</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Single core</strong></td><td>1,156</td><td>959</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Multi core</strong></td><td>3,264</td><td>2,904</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<h2>Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 vs Dimensity 7300: Key Differences</h2>

<p>Both chips have eight cores and are built using TSMC’s 4nm process, but they share different core clusters and architectures. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 has three Cortex-A715 performance cores (two run at 2.63 GHz and one at 2.4 GHz clock speed) and four Cortex-A510 power efficiency cores clocked at 1.8 GHz.</p>

<p>The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip has four Cortex-A78 cores at 2.5 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2 GHz. Its maximum CPU clock speed is 2.5 GHz, while the Snapdragon chip has a higher peak CPU clock speed, thus offering an additional performance boost.</p>

<p>Both chips have custom-built GPUs — Adreno 720 on Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Mali-G615 MP2 on Dimensity 7300. Both chips support UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR4X RAM. However, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 also supports LPDDR5X, which is faster than LPDDR5. I’ll leave that to the device manufacturer to decide whether to offer LPDDR5 or LPDDR5X.</p>

<p>Connectivity is another key area where the two chips differ. Although both have a 5G modem, the peak download speed is higher on the Snapdragon chip — 5 Gbps (vs. 3.27 Gbps on Dimensity 7300).</p>

<h2>Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 vs Dimensity 7300: Which is Better?</h2>

<p>Both are high-performance chipsets for mid-range phones built by TSMC using its 4nm cutting-edge process. However, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 has a better CPU and GPU performance than the Dimensity 7300, although the difference may not be significant in real life.</p>

<p>So, if you’re more into gaming and video editing, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 should be a better choice. For normal usage and light gaming, the Dimensity 7300 chip serves the purpose. The fact that devices powered by the Dimensity 7300 chip are available at a lower price makes it a good grab for most people.</p>

<h2>Dimensity 7300 vs Snapdragon 888: Performance</h2>

<p>The Dimensity 7300 is equipped with four Cortex-A78 performance cores clocked at up to 2.5 GHz, and the remaining four are Cortex-A55 power-efficient cores running at 2.0 GHz.</p>

<p>The Snapdragon 888 has a Cortex-X1 prime core clocked at up to 2.8 GHz, three Cortex-A78 performance cores at 2.4 GHz, and the remaining four Cortex-A55 are power efficient cores clocked at 1.8 GHz.</p>

<p>The Cortex-X1 prime core in Snapdragon 888 provides the chip an edge over the Dimensity 7300 in terms of performance. The Qualcomm chip will likely perform better in demanding tasks like gaming and intensive multitasking. However, the Dimensity 7300 offers better battery life due to a more power-efficient core configuration.</p>

<p>Both chips have different GPUs (Arm Mali-G615 MC2 in Dimensity 7300 and Adreno 660 in Snapdragon 888). The Adreno 660 is a more powerful GPU but consumes more power, while the Mali-G615 MC2 is a power-efficient chip, leading to a longer battery life, but don’t expect the same performance as Adreno 660 in high-end gaming and graphics-intensive tasks.</p>

<p>The Snapdragon chip has a full suite of Snapdragon Elite Gaming features, including variable rate shading for better graphics performance and Qualcomm Game Quick Touch for increased display responsiveness. The MediaTek chip employs MediTek HyperEngine optimizations, promising to accelerate gaming experiences and energy efficiency by up to 20%.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Snapdragon 888 delivers great CPU and GPU performance, but many devices powered by this chip were overheating during gaming and other process-intensive tasks.</p>

<p>Smartphones are getting smarter with AI features, and therefore, selecting the right NPU has become crucial. The Dimensity 7300 uses MediaTek NPU 655, which offers 2x performance compared to its previous generation. The chip supports AI camera enhancements, such as AI-NR, AI-HDR, and AI-PQ, and integrates with MediaTek HyperEngine to enhance gaming performance and reduce GPU load.</p>

<p>The Hexagon 780 in Snapdragon 888 is a powerful NPU optimized for low power consumption and high performance. It is designed to accelerate AI processing tasks, such as machine learning and other AI-related applications. It is capable of 26 trillion operations per second (TOPS).</p>

<h2>Dimensity 7300 vs Snapdragon 888: Multimedia</h2>

<p>Both chips have excellent imaging capabilities, supporting up to a 200MP single camera sensor. However, the video recording is a limiting factor in the Dimensity chip. It can take up to 4K videos at 30FPS, while the Snapdragon 888 can take up to 8K videos at the same frame rate.</p>

<p>The Dimensity 7300 featuring Imagiq 950 12-bit ISP provides precise noise reduction (MCNR), face detection (HWFD), and video HDR. The chip has up to 1.3x faster live focus photo performance and up to 1.5x faster photo remastering than its previous counterparts.</p>

<p>The Snapdragon 888 has a Spectra 580 14-bit ISP with camera features such as real-time object classification, HDR, multi-frame noise reduction (MFNR) low-light photography architecture, and high-efficiency image file format (HEID).</p>

<h2>Dimensity 7300 vs Snapdragon 888: Connectivity</h2>

<p>Unlike the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/04/30/mediatek-launches-dimensity-7050-processor/#:~:text=The%20Dimensity%207050%20SoC%20has,UFS%203.1%2F2.1%20storage%20standards." target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dimensity 7050</a>&#8216;s (2+6) core cluster, the Dimensity 7300 series offers 4 x Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.5GHz paired with 4 x Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. Notably, these are the same cores that are used by the Dimensity 7050. However, there are some performance and power efficiency improvements.</p>

<p>For graphics, the Dimensity 7300 series equips the latest Arm Mali-G615 GPU along with a suite of MediaTek HyperEngine optimizations, that aim to improve the gaming experience. According to MediaTek, both of the chips offer an improved gaming experience with a 20% higher FPS along with 20% less power consumption in comparison to its competitors. The series also comes with &#8220;smart resource optimization&#8221;, network optimization for games, and support for Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) with Dual-Link True Wireless Stereo Audio.</p>

<p>A difference between the two chips is that the latter one supports dual displays, which means it could also be used in a more affordable foldable device.</p>

<h2>Imaging improvements</h2>

<p>The Dimensity 7300 series also brings imaging improvements to the table with the new MediaTek Imagiq 950, which features a premium-grade 12-bit HDR-ISP. Mid-range phones with this series will support a 200MP main camera. With enhanced hardware engines, it also provides precise noise reduction (MCNR), face detection (HWFD), and video HDR. Live focus photo performance and photo remastering is now 1.3X and 1.5X faster respectively as compared to the Dimensity 7050.</p>

<p>In simple words, the chip will allow OEMs to provide a better camera system, however, it depends on the smartphone makers how they are going to take advantage of the added capabilities.</p>

<p>The series boasts the MediaTek APU 655 which offers <strong>2x improvement in AI performance</strong> as compared to the Dimensity 7050.</p>
