With ASUS launching the hotly-anticipated ROG 2 gaming smartphone, the Black Shark 2 hitting the store shelves, and now, the gaming flagship from Meizu going up for sale on Giztop, those who fancy playing popular games on mobile phones have had a lot to cheer about this year.

Following the Meizu 16S flagship launch last month, the company was slated to announce a new gaming high-end smartphone bearing the Meizu 16T (wherein ‘T’ stands for Turbo) moniker by the end of this month. Much to the delight of mobile gamers, the much-awaited gaming-centric phone is now available through Giztop.

Crafted to go toe-to-toe with the likes of the Black Shark 2 Pro and the Red Magic 3S, the Meizu 16T comes in the 6GB RAM+128GB ROM, the 8GB RAM+128GB ROM, as well the larger 8GB RAM+256GB ROM variants. You can order your favorite model through the Chinese online store that’s offering it in various eye-catching color options.

Available in blue, green and orange color options, the 6GB RAM+128GB ROM model would set you back $359. If you go for the slightly larger model that ships with 8GB of RAM, coupled with 128GB of internal storage space, you’d need to shell out $399. This variant comes in blue, green and orange color options.

Those who don’t mind spending $40 more, there’s the largest Meizu 16T that packs 8GB of RAM and offers a hefty 256GB of internal storage space for you to save your favorite multimedia content. Bearing a slightly steeper $439 price tag, this model is also available in blue, green and orange color options.

The burning questions popping into your mind right now would be what makes the Meizu 16T better than other gaming smartphones available in the market, or is it worth your money. Well, as someone who fancies playing popular games on the mobile phone, I think it is quite an irresistible gaming phone.

First off, it sports an extra-large 6.5-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ screen with a super mTouch in-display fingerprint scanner for added security. Under the hood, it packs a powerful 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Octa-core processor, along with the highly competent Adreno 640 GPU for a superior gaming experience.

On the optics front, the Meizu 16T gaming phone houses a triple rear camera set comprising Sony IMX362 12MP+8MP+5MP sensors at the back. Upfront, it features a 16.0MP selfie camera that can also be used for video calling.

The Meizu 16T draws its juices from a 4500mAh battery that supports support mCharge 18W fast charging. Furthermore, the gaming phone runs Flyme 8 based on the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system.
