Rather, it will use its own approach to improve camera performance.</p>
<p><strong>Original Story:</strong></p>
<p>Last month, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/meizu">Meizu</a> had launched the Meizu M8 Note smartphone with “<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/10/25/meizu-m8-note-goes-official-with-a-6-15-display-snapdragon-632-and-more/">national camera phone</a>” tagline in China. The handset had carried an enticing starting price of 1,298 Yuan (~$187). It appears that the company could be planning to launch an advanced version of the same phone with Meizu Note 8 Plus moniker. Internationally, the handset is most likely to carry Meizu M8 Note Plus moniker. A leaked photo of the alleged phone has appeared on SlashLeaks. What’s interesting about the phone is that the handset is equipped with four rear-mounted cameras.</p>
<p>The SlashLeaks listing for the below shown leaked photo reveals that the Meizu handset has a model number of M1823. It seems to feature a metallic chassis with red paint job.  A square-shaped camera module that houses four camera sensors resides above the fingerprint scanner.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/11/16/meizu-note-8-plus-leaked-photo-reveals-four-rear-cameras/meizu-m8-note-plus-four-camera/" rel="attachment wp-att-223139"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-223139" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/meizu-m8-note-plus-four-camera.jpg?x10805" alt="meizu-note-8-plus-four-camera" width="1000" height="1333" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/meizu-m8-note-plus-four-camera.jpg 1000w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/meizu-m8-note-plus-four-camera-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/meizu-m8-note-plus-four-camera-768x1024.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></a></p>
<p>It is speculated that the quad camera setup of the Meizu Note 8 Plus may borrow M8 Note’s Sony IMX362 main sensor. It will could be coupled with a depth sensor, a super wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens. Samsung has recently the Galaxy A9s smartphone as the world’s first smartphone with four rear cameras. Since Meizu shares a healthy business relation with Samsung, there is a possibility that it may adopt Samsung’s quad camera solution.</p>

</ul>
<p>There is no information available on the specifications of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/meizu-note-8/">Meizu M8 Note</a>. It could feature similar specs that are available on the M8 Note smartphone. The latter is equipped with a 6-inch IPS LCD display that supports FHD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 632 chipset powers the 4 GB and 6 GB RAM variants of the phone. It includes 64 GB of native storage and it also features an external storage slot.</p>
<p>The back panel of the phone has a 12-megaprixel + 5-megapixel dual camera module. It is equipped with a selfie shooter of 8-megapixel. The handset is loaded with Flyme UI based Android 8.1 Oreo OS. It is backed by 3,600mAh battery that carries support for 18W mCharge rapid charging technology. The handset is available in China in four colors like Black, Gray Blue, Smoker Purple and Flame Red.</p>

Meizu is renowned for the topnotch and innovative design of its smartphones. So the sleek and beautiful design of the M8 Note isn&#8217;t much of a surprise. <p>Meizu M8 Note is a premium budget phone that is powered by Qualcomm&#8217;s latest Snapdragon 632 chipset which is an upgrade over the popular Snapdragon 625 chipset. The chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM while there is 64GB of internal storage onboard. Surprisingly, the M8 Note only comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage but we expect Meizu to throw in more versions in due course.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note.jpeg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-218961" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-1024x436.jpeg?x10805" alt="Meizu M8 Note" width="640" height="273" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-1024x436.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-300x128.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-768x327.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-1175x500.jpeg 1175w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note.jpeg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a></p>
<p>The M8 Note presents with a huge 6.15-inch In-cell LCD display with an FHD+ resolution of 2160x1080pixels. The display comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device packs a 12MP+5MP dual camera setup at the rear with the sensors aligned vertically at the middle. The camera arrangement looks similar to that of the Meizu 16X but in this case, the LED flash is at the top while at the bottom there is a fingerprint sensor. Meizu shared some camera samples captured by the M8 Note&#8217;s rear camera and they are quite impressive. We can&#8217;t say for sure if the photos weren&#8217;t enhanced.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-14.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-218977" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-14-1024x640.jpg?x10805" alt="" width="640" height="400" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-14-1024x640.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-14-300x188.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-14-768x480.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-14.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a></p>
<p>As for the price, the Meizu M8 Note is priced at 1298 yuan ($187).  The device is presently on reservation on Meizu official website, Meizu Tmall official flagship store, Jingdong, Suning Tesco and offline Meizu store. It will go on sale officially on November 1 at 00:00.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-10.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-218974" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-10-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="" width="640" height="360" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-10-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-10-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-10-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-10.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-8.jpeg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-218970" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-8-1024x436.jpeg?x10805" alt="" width="640" height="273" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-8-1024x436.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-8-300x128.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-8-768x327.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-8-1175x500.jpeg 1175w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-8.jpeg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-7.jpeg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-218969" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-7-1024x436.jpeg?x10805" alt="" width="640" height="273" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-7-1024x436.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-7-300x128.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-7-768x327.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-7-1175x500.jpeg 1175w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-7.jpeg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-5.jpeg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-218967" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-5-1024x436.jpeg?x10805" alt="" width="640" height="273" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-5-1024x436.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-5-300x128.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-5-768x327.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-5-1175x500.jpeg 1175w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/meizu-m8-note-5.jpeg 2048w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a></p>
