A manager at Meizu recently posted some photos of a new version of the Meizu MX4 with a different look. He also said that he did not know how many Meizu MX4 will be manufactured and when it will be manufactured.

From the pictures, it looks like the rear cover of this Meizu MX4 is made of the same material as the MX3’s. Other than that, it looks pretty much the same as the MX4 that has already been released. This actually looks really good and it would be a shame if they did not release it.

Meizu MX4 Pro

Pictures of ‘top of the range’, Meizu MX4 called the MX4 Pro, have recently leaked online. The phone is expected to appear at this year’s IFA on 2^nd September at Berlin. Information collected from recent leaked pictures of these phones suggests two versions of the handset will be available. The MX4 Pro is significantly different from the MX4 and looks sleek and more premium. This phone is touted to carry a 5.5 inch glass with 1536 X 2560 pixel resolution. It is also equipped with a 20.7 MP camera accompanied by a LED flash. Photos suggest that the MX4 Pro has an all metal frame. However, the back cover seems to be of plastic and may be replaceable.

The unveiling on 2^nd September, just a week before the launch of the new iPhone, is being seen by many as a stunt to ‘steal Apple’s thunder’. The success of such an activity is still to be seen.

The leaked pictures have received mixed reviews about the new handset. On one hand, there seems to be little hue and cry about the looks of this handset (many have found them to be simple, ordinary and nothing exciting) while on the other the experts find the technical specifications a little hard to believe. As for now, all we can do is wait and watch as MX4 Pro makes its official appearance next week at IFA Berlin.

Newly Photos of MX4 Rear Cover Leaks

As the Meizu conference press on September getting closed, people care about more surprises from MX4. A MX4 rear cover phots leaked from Weibo, where we can see the elliptical dual flashlights, most of the buttons are placed in the middle frame, the rear cover arch is smaller, which is closed to the flatness of Hornor 3X rear cover, and no need to use the pin to open the cover.

First MX4 Camera Shot Photos Leaked

New rumors was just released by Weibo user @ubuntu, who exposed news of MX4 many times before, including double LED flashlight and photo samples. From the photos of flashlight, the news of adopting white & orange double-color LED flashlight is confirmed. The resolution of the photo samples is 2048×1536, with good overall quality, while the details can not be obtained due to compression. It is acquired that MX4 would be the first cell phone which applies the Sony 2070 Mpi Camera, with Sony IMX147 sensor and supports 0.3 second focusing.

And according to the information before, there would be two versions for MX4, the standard version and the Pro version, with the detailed configuration uncertain, while it can be sure that there must some difference in the material technology. The standard version would be more like MX3, and keeps the little circle of Home button (the material would be replaced by Mg-Al alloy material, and no longer double plastic casting technology), and the Pro version would be promoted and upgraded, as well pressing fingerprint identification is expected.

Meizu MX4: New photos leaked

Meizu has announced officially to hold the conference press for Meizu products on September 2nd at the subsidiary pavilion of Beijing National Stadium. As that time closed, more and more expectations have been taken to Meizu MX4.

A rear HD photo of MX4 was exposed in the forum. Viewed from the photos, the rear and border design of machine is more full and smooth, with the speaker at the bottom similar to iPhone6. As to the border, Mg-Al alloy material is used.

It still can not be ensured that the exposed photos are real, however, some information from the Meizu officially seems more reliable. This morning, the official Weibo of Meizu said that:”it is said that, @Flyme music also #ThinkHigh# “, which rised imaginations to MX4.

Some people thought, it is the hint from Meizu that mx4 will support the sound effects at Hi-Fi grade, which is big promotion compared with MX3, it should be notices that there were some information indeed before that MX4 would install top level ES9018 Double audio chip, which will improve the music experience of the cell phone significantly.

Of course, a set of good earphone is needed for Hi-Fi. While Meizu never equipped with the earphone, and we don’t know whether they will make change.

Except for the big improvement of the audio quality, it is heard that, the camera of Meizu MX4 will be over 1600 Mpi, which is confirmed to be 2070 Mpi from other information.

what’s more, today, Zhang Heng, the senior manager of Meizu Technology Co. Ltd., released a photo at the Weibo which produced heat comment: Gao Yuan Yuan, a famous celebrity in China, will be invited to be the endorser of MX4.

It is believed that the price, rather than the celebrity endorser, will be paid more attention by people, which will be unveiled at the conference press.
