While we may still be sceptical about that date, a new leak from a popular tech blogger on Weibo has restated that the Pro 7 will indeed be launched along with the Pro 7 Plus on July 26. The tipster claims the rumour has over 95% accuracy, meaning the Pro 7 may actually make its debut towards the end of next month.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-launch.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-138726" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-launch.png?x44794" alt="meizu pro 7" width="605" height="164" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-launch.png 605w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-launch-300x81.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 605px) 100vw, 605px" /></a></p>
<p>Already we have seen the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/06/27/meizu-pro-7-real-live-photo-e-ink-helio-x30/"> real renders of the Pro 7</a> revealing both the front and the rear design, including the secondary e-ink display located at the rear. The flagship model is expected to feature a well-studded specs lineup in addition to the nice design it has been revealed to come with. Among the rumoured specification is an Helio X30 chip, a 5.5-inch display, mBack home button and fast charging technology. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-12.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-138727" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-12.jpg?x44794" alt="Meizu Pro 7" width="600" height="398" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-12.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-12-300x199.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>

<p>The Meizu Pro 7 is expected to feature a dual camera setup which is tipped to be composed of a Sony IMX386 main sensor and a Sony IMX286 secondary sensor. This would make the Pro 7 Meizu&#8217;s first dual camera phone. There are rumours of an Exynos 8895-powered version coming also. Other specs include a 16MP front camera, 3.5mm audio jack as well as a USB Type-C port and more. Meizu will offload the full package next month, that is if the rumours of a July 26 launch turns out to be true. Nothing has officially been revealed in that regard as at this moment so don&#8217;t get your expectation too high.</p>

Apart from the launch of the Meizu E2 with its spectacular LED flash design, we are yet to see a new model with flagship design. But all that will likely be changing soon as the tech giant will launch the long awaited Pro 7 soon. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-1.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-137827" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-1.jpg?x44794" alt="Meizu Pro 7" width="600" height="824" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-1.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-1-218x300.jpg 218w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>The Meizu Pro has been the subject of recent rumours and has been a long awaited device. The flagship model has now tipped as coming on July 26. The tip is an unofficial one that can&#8217;t really be authenticated so we can treat it as a rumour. But then, anything is possible when it comes to China&#8217;s OEMs and rumours/ leaks.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-2.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-137828" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-2.jpg?x44794" alt="Meizu Pro 7" width="600" height="600" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-2.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-2-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-2-300x300.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>The leaked renders of the Pro 7 which have made the rounds over the week, all make the Pro 7 a smartphone to look forward to. The design looks like an innovative one with a secondary display stationed at the back of the device. The secondary display will show notifications like incoming messages, missed calls, WeChat messages, date and time. The display is said to be an E-ink display.</p>

<p>Apart from the secondary display, the Meizu Pro 7 is also expected to come with an innovative design which includes an ultra-thin frame and Meizu’s mBack. The device is also tipped as packing a MediaTek Helio X30 chip, a 5.2-inch 1080p display up front and a dual Sony IMX386 + IMX286 dual cameras among others. The Meizu Pro 7 Plus is also expected to debut along with the Pro 7 with a larger 5.7-inch 2K screen and likely equipped with a Samsung Exynos 8895 processor, or Helio X30 standard version of the processor.</p>

The short teasing message is suggestive the teaser is likely referring to the Pro 7. The message apparent refers to phone users who mute all forms of message notification but can&#8217;t stop looking at the phone every now and then to see if there is a new message.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-136482" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu.png?x44794" alt="meizu " width="594" height="387" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu.png 594w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-300x195.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 594px) 100vw, 594px" /></a></p>
<p>If you&#8217;re still wondering how this relates to the Meizu Pro 7, here is your answer. The Pro 7 is expected to feature a secondary display at the back which would show date, time, weather information, calls and message notification. The secondary display has appeared in several <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/06/14/meizu-pro-7s-secondary-display-shown-latest-leaked-photo/">leaked renders</a>, including that of the phone&#8217;s casing or shell. A supposed <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/06/14/spy-photograph-meizu-pro-7-surface-online-shows-secondary-display/">spy shot even revealed how the secondary display</a> will pan out on the Pro 7. The secondary display is expected made from electronic ink (e-ink) and would remain on always, thus reducing the urge to always switch on the main display. This could, in turn, enhance the battery life.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Meizu-Pro-7-Real-Image.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-136312" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Meizu-Pro-7-Real-Image.jpg?x44794" alt="Meizu Pro 7 " width="1440" height="960" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Meizu-Pro-7-Real-Image.jpg 1440w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Meizu-Pro-7-Real-Image-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Meizu-Pro-7-Real-Image-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Meizu-Pro-7-Real-Image-1024x683.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 1440px) 100vw, 1440px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">Read More: </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/06/12/meizu-pro-7-real-back-shell-leaks-similar-recent-renders/">Meizu Pro 7 Real Back Shell Leaks: Similar To Recent Renders</a></strong></p>
<p>Apart from the innovative design, the Meizu Pro 7 is expected to be the first device that would feature MediTek&#8217;s latest deca-core Helio X30 processor and is tipped to also pack a 12MP Sony IMX386 + 12MP Sony IMX286  dual camera setup. An earlier rumour also says Meizu will unveil the Pro 7 in July. Could this teaser be the first of several teasers that will culminate in the Pro 7&#8217;s launch? We are not ruling out the possibility that the teaser may be referring to an entirely different product but we&#8217;ll find out soon.</p>

Not too long ago,<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/05/29/new-meizu-pro-7-renders-emerge-senior-vp-hints-better-design-confirms-exists/"> Meizu&#8217;s new senior VP sort of confirmed the existence of the Pro 7 with a new design</a> and very recently, a couple of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/06/09/meizu-pro-7-7-plus-new-design-captured-latest-renders/">renders of the Meizu Pro 7 leaked </a>showing it will have a secondary display at the rear. Turns out the renders may just be the real Pro 7 as a couple of leaked fuselage of the Pro 7 have appeared which look similar to the renders. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-real-2.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-135852" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-real-2.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu pro 7" width="600" height="443" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-real-2.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-real-2-300x222.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>The metal fuselage which appears in red and black colors are said to be those of the Pro 7. The Meizu logo is also written at the back. Of particular importance is the rear shell which shows that the design comes with provision for a secondary display which would be domiciled at the rear. There is also a wide opening at the top which is just wide enough for a dual camera setup and way to wide to house one camera. That is also an indication that the Pro 7 will likely come with a dual camera setup as already rumoured.</p>

<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/meizu-pro-7-real-4/'><img width="225" height="300" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-real-4-225x300.jpg?x44794" class="attachment-medium size-medium" alt="meizu pro 7" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-real-4-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-real-4.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px" /></a>
<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/meizu-pro-7-real-3/'><img width="225" height="300" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-real-3-225x300.jpg?x44794" class="attachment-medium size-medium" alt="meizu pro 7" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-real-3-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-real-3.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px" /></a>

<p>The Pro 7 may also have received 3C certification in China with two new Meizu models<strong> </strong>M792C and M792Q spotted to have received 3C certification. Speculation that these models may be the Pro 7 models were fuelled by the 24W fast charging capacity their chargers feature which was also featured by the flagship Pro 6 Plus&#8217; charger.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-real.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-135851" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-real.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu pro 7" width="600" height="376" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-real.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/meizu-pro-7-real-300x188.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>

<p>The Meizu Pro 7 is expected to utilize MeidaTek&#8217;s latest Helio X30 flagship chip and a<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/06/05/alleged-meizu-pro-7-real-photo-leaks-revealing-3-5mm-jack-type-c-port/"> USB type-C interface</a> among other new features but the 3.5mmm audio jack is still retained. The device is also expected with the U-shaped antenna band design which has been a regular on Meizu models lately. Earlier rumours tip the Pro 7 as launching on July 10 but we are not so sure about that.</p>

The Meizu E2&#8217;s design has been sort of confirmed when the images and specs of the device appeared on TENAA. The E2 design seems to also have featured in a leaked Powerpoint screenshot which seems to be out of the launch venue. The PPT document shows the Meizu E2 would come in different colour variants.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/meizu-pro-7-2-9/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-128348" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/meizu-pro-7-2-154x300.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="154" height="300" /></a></p>
<p>While the Meizu E2 is likely the device that would be launched tomorrow, there are speculations that Meizu may also unveil a flagship series smartphone, the Pro 7 tomorrow. Fans of the Meizu brand have been waiting for the Pro 7 for a while now, with no end in sight to the wait. But some analysts are of the opinion that the Pro 7 might be launched along with the E2 just the same way its predecessor, the Pro 6 Plus was announced along with the M3X in November last year. We can&#8217;t say for sure but it is a possibility since there is a precedent.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/meizu-pro-7-22/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-128347 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/meizu-pro-7.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="610" height="437" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/meizu-pro-7.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/meizu-pro-7-300x215.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></a></p>
<p>A Weibo user, Monday leaked the likely specifications of the Pro 7 and there is really not much difference from earlier leaks. The Pro 7 will have a 5.2-inch 2K display with its highest version equipped with 6GB of RAM. No mention was made of the processor but the device is said to pack a 12MP rear camera, a 3500mAh battery and run Android 7.0 Nougat-based Flyme OS. The Meizu Pro 7 is also said to come with a comprehensive screen design and Meizu&#8217;s mCharge fast charge technology.</p>

<p>The Pro 7 is said to start at 2699 Yuan which is the price the Pro 6S launched with. But recently, the Meizu Pro 6S which is the latest in the lineup got a 200 Yuan price cut. This could be a way to offload the remaining stock before the launch of a new flagship. We can&#8217;t be so sure, so we&#8217;ll wait and see what the event plays out.</p>

There is no denying that both brands are innovative in terms of design and others, so it is usually not surprising when they release smartphones which look to take on each other most times. There are indications the Xiaomi Mi 6 might likely have a rival flagship from Meizu.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/meizu-pro-7-21/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-126217" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/meizu-pro-7.png?x44794" alt="" width="593" height="412" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/meizu-pro-7.png 593w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/meizu-pro-7-300x208.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 593px) 100vw, 593px" /></a></p>
<p>Meizu VP Li Nan seems to have hinted about the impending launch of the elusive Meizu Pro 7. The VP who was responding to an inquiry on Weibo hinted that the company would launch a smartphone this month and it isn&#8217;t the Meizu M5X but it comes with a new look and some very interesting design. Although he didn&#8217;t mention the name of the expected device, it is suspected to be the Pro 7. Firstly, Meizu launched the high-end Pro 6 in April last year and with the upcoming launch of the Mi 6, only the Pro-series smartphones can take on the Xiaomi flagship. Coincidentally, the Meizu Pro 6S which is the latest in the lineup has got a 200 Yuan price cut. This could be a way to offload the remaining stock before the launch of a new flagship.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/meizu-pro-6s-36/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-126216" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/meizu-pro-6s.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu pro 7" width="610" height="405" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/meizu-pro-6s.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/meizu-pro-6s-300x199.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></a></p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/01/30/meizu-pro-7-features-leak-4k-display-titanium-body/">An earlier leak had tipped the Meizu Pro 7 </a>to come with a 5.7-inch 4K display (resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels) with support for AOD display screen technology. The flagship is also said to feature an Helio X30 chipset and would also come packing a rear camera with 12MP Sony IMX362 CMOS sensor among several other features. We are not entirely sure, though, that we&#8217;ll finally get to see the long-awaited Pro 7 this month. It could turn out to be another model.</p>

Now, new images of the <strong>Meizu Pro 7</strong> have popped up online reminding us of the device and revealing the possibility of the device launching alongside the Meizu X on November 30.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/meizu-pro-7-3-4/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-108157" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-pro-7-3.png?x44794" alt="meizu-pro-7-3" width="565" height="800" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-pro-7-3.png 565w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-pro-7-3-212x300.png 212w" sizes="(max-width: 565px) 100vw, 565px" /></a></p>
<p>The Meizu Pro 7 is said to feature a curved display and that is likely to be on one version of the device because earlier rumor also hint at the existence of a flat screen version. We had earlier seen renders of the curved display but these renders also show the device from the back view. The Meizu Pro 7 features a unique ring flash at the rear, circling round the 12MP rear camera.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/meizu-x-5/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-108158" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-x.png?x44794" alt="meizu-pro-7" width="580" height="348" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-x.png 580w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-x-300x180.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px" /></a></p>
<p>The Pro 7 is also rumored as coming in two versions with one sporting a 4GB RAM + 32GB ROM as well as a high-end versiom with 6GB RAM + 64GB of storage. There is a large 3,500mAh inside the device said to feature wireless charging.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/meizu-pro-7-19/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-108155" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-pro-7.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu-pro-7" width="290" height="386" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-pro-7.jpg 290w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-pro-7-225x300.jpg 225w" sizes="(max-width: 290px) 100vw, 290px" /></a></p>

<p>The Meizu X is confirmed to launch on November 30 just as it is almost confirmed to pack a Helio P20 chip as well as run on Flyme 6.0 OS. Perhaps Meizu will confirm via another teaser, the launch of the Pro 7 or the X may even just be the Pro 7. We can&#8217;t be so sure about that, so we&#8217;ll wait till then.</p>
