The Pro version is currently rated as the top camera flagship by DxOMark, beating the popular<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-mate-30-pro-5g/"> Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G</a> flagship for the throne. And it looks like the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro models are heading over to international markets such as India, Indonesia, Russia, and EEA (European Economic Area) that includes countries like Poland, Netherlands, Portugal, Italy, and Spain.</p>
<figure id="attachment_305281" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-305281" style="width: 544px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-1.45.32-PM.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-305281" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-1.45.32-PM.png?x44794" alt="Xiaomi mi 10" width="544" height="561" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-1.45.32-PM.png 544w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-1.45.32-PM-291x300.png 291w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-1.45.32-PM-407x420.png 407w" sizes="(max-width: 544px) 100vw, 544px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-305281" class="wp-caption-text">Xiaomi Mi 10</figcaption></figure>
<p>The news comes from the folks over at XDA developers (tipped by recognized developer yshalsager) who spotted MIUI builds for the Mi 10 (codename: umi) and the Mi 10 Pro (codename: cmi) for international markets. Specifically, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> is building MIUI codes for five different regions: India, Indonesia, Russia, EEA, and Global. Since these builds are in development, we can expect the new Mi 10 series to launch in the above-mentioned markets.</p>

<p><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script></p>
<p>Xiaomi India&#8217;s MD, Manu Kumar Jain has also given hints about the Mi 10 series&#8217; launch in India. While tweeting about the launch earlier today, he said, &#8220;we&#8217;re working hard to give you all first access to cutting edge smartphone technology in India&#8221;. Further, in another tweet, he added that the Mi 10 will have a different pricing model if it launches in India because 100% of units will have to be imported from China.</p>
<p>While Xiaomi dominates the budget and mid-range segments in India, over the past couple of years, the company has failed to launch a decent premium smartphone in the market. Notably, the last premium Xiaomi smartphone in India was the three-year-old <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-mix-2/">Mi Mix 2</a>. So the new Mi 10 series with its DxOmark approved quad-cameras could be the perfect lineup to make a comeback to the premium segment this year.</p>

This year, the company aims to finally break into the premium category segment with high-end specs and a beautiful design. Both phones are powered by Snapdragon 865 and come with a curved custom AMOLED display panel, similar to the OnePlus 7T Pro.</p>
<h4>Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro design</h4>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-1.45.32-PM.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-305281" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-1.45.32-PM.png?x44794" alt="Xiaomi mi 10 " width="544" height="561" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-1.45.32-PM.png 544w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-1.45.32-PM-291x300.png 291w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-1.45.32-PM-407x420.png 407w" sizes="(max-width: 544px) 100vw, 544px" /></a></p>
<p>The Xiaomi Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro have near-identical designs. This includes a curved display on the front and a quad-camera setup place on the top left corner of the back. The company has reduced the chin on the display to just 3.32mm, offering a better screen to body ratio on the new models.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-1.45.17-PM.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-305282" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-1.45.17-PM.png?x44794" alt="Xiaomi mi 10 Pro " width="552" height="577" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-1.45.17-PM.png 552w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-1.45.17-PM-287x300.png 287w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-1.45.17-PM-402x420.png 402w" sizes="(max-width: 552px) 100vw, 552px" /></a></p>
<p>They measure 9mm in thickness with 4500mAh+ batteries on board. The only major difference in design between the two models is the additional Laser focus sensor at the back of the Pro model.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-3-32mm-chin.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-305259" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-3-32mm-chin.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 10 3-32mm chin" width="690" height="690" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-3-32mm-chin.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-3-32mm-chin-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-3-32mm-chin-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-3-32mm-chin-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<p>Both the phones also feature a <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/punch-hole-camera">punch-hole camera</a> on the top left corner of the screen.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h4>Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro Display</h4>
<p>The Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro come with a 6.67-inch curved <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/AMOLED">AMOLED </a>display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The peak brightness on both the panels reach 1200 nits with a contrast of 5,000,000:1.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/6-inch-amoled.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-305261" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/6-inch-amoled.jpg?x44794" alt="6-inch amoled" width="690" height="690" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/6-inch-amoled.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/6-inch-amoled-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/6-inch-amoled-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/6-inch-amoled-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<p>In order to improve the automatic brightness adjustment on both the devices, the company has equipped them with dual front and rear light sensors. This will ensure that the phone&#8217;s brightness is controlled well offering a pleasant viewing experience, indoors as well as outdoors.</p>
<p>The Mi 10 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED panel with a JNCD (Just Noticeable Color Difference) of less than 0.55. The company claims that the Pro&#8217;s display is superior to both the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-11-pro-max/"> iPhone 11 Pro Max</a> and the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-mate-30-pro-5g/">Mate 30 Pro 5G</a>. Also, Xiaomi adds that the panel&#8217;s △ E (delta E color difference) is 1.1 which once again makes it better than the iPhone and Huawei flagship models.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h4>Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro Specs</h4>
<p>The Xiaomi Mi 10 and Pro models come with the 7nm octa-core Snapdragon 865 under the hood with up to 12GB of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/LPDDR5">LPDDR5</a> RAM, and UFS 3.0 storage. Both the phones support Wi-Fi 6 which comes with a throughput rate of 9.6Gbps. Thanks to these specs, the Mi 10 is able to score more than 585,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-12.04.45-PM.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-305255" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-12.04.45-PM.png?x44794" alt="antutu mi 10 pro" width="918" height="436" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-12.04.45-PM.png 918w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-12.04.45-PM-300x142.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-12.04.45-PM-768x365.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-12.04.45-PM-696x331.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-13-at-12.04.45-PM-884x420.png 884w" sizes="(max-width: 918px) 100vw, 918px" /></a></p>
<p>Of course, with SD865 on board, the phones support both SA and NSA 5G standards out of the box.</p>
<p>The Xiaomi Mi 10 comes with dual linear 1.0cc stereo speakers. However the Mi 10 Pro is the real king of audio in the flagship series as it comes with a larger chamber 1.2cc dual stereo speakers. Unsurprisingly, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is the top-scoring smartphone on DxOMark&#8217;s audio test, beating the previous leader, the Mate 20 X 5G by one point.</p>

<p>In terms of cooling, both the models come with Vapour Chamber liquid-cooling system with multiple layers of graphite and AI machine learning to keep the temperature under control. The company is also offering a special cooling fan as a separate accessory for the new models.</p>

Both Xiaomi Mi 10 models support <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/8K">8K</a> video recording, OIS, and EIS. They feature AI scene recognition, super night mode, and a variety of movie modes for video shooting.Since they come with 108MP super high-resolution cameras, Xiaomi has added support for the new HEIF file format. So, both the models are capable of capturing images in HEIF instead of JPEG, which will reportedly save storage space by up to 50 percent.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/HEIF-file-saving-50-pc-format.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-305257" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/HEIF-file-saving-50-pc-format.jpg?x44794" alt="HEIF file saving 50 pc format" width="690" height="690" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/HEIF-file-saving-50-pc-format.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/HEIF-file-saving-50-pc-format-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/HEIF-file-saving-50-pc-format-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/HEIF-file-saving-50-pc-format-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>

<h2>Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro (5G) Rumor Roundup</h2>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Design</h3>
<p>Several renders and leaked photos surfaced online, and an earlier image revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 10 could adopt a scheme similar to what we have seen with the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha.</p>
<figure id="attachment_304578" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-304578" style="width: 690px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-poster-e1581360248552.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-304578" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-poster-e1581360248552.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 10 poster" width="690" height="542" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-poster-e1581360248552.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-poster-e1581360248552-300x236.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-poster-e1581360248552-535x420.jpg 535w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-304578" class="wp-caption-text">Xiaomi Mi 10 official poster</figcaption></figure>
<p>However, according to the latest <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/11/latest-mi-10-teasers-reveal-camera-specs-battery-capacity-and-more-will-come-in-white-too/">official renders from Xiaomi</a>, the Mi 10 will feature a simpler design with solid colors. The Mi 10 is confirmed to feature a quad-camera setup in a vertical arrangement with an LED flash at the bottom. The front will feature a curved display with a thin chin at the bottom. As you can see in the image above, the phone will feature a punch-hole camera on the top left corner.</p>
<p>Unofficial leaks have also revealed more details about the device, including its thin chin. Apart from the officially revealed cyan and peach colors (as seen in the official image above), a leaked image (down below) reveal an additional green and blue color options for the device. A white color option is also <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/11/latest-mi-10-teasers-reveal-camera-specs-battery-capacity-and-more-will-come-in-white-too/">confirmed</a>.</p>
<figure id="attachment_304519" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-304519" style="width: 1080px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/mi-10-5g-2.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-304519 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/mi-10-5g-2.jpg?x44794" alt="mi 10 5g" width="1080" height="1095" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/mi-10-5g-2.jpg 1080w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/mi-10-5g-2-296x300.jpg 296w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/mi-10-5g-2-768x779.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/mi-10-5g-2-1010x1024.jpg 1010w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/mi-10-5g-2-696x706.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/mi-10-5g-2-1068x1083.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/mi-10-5g-2-414x420.jpg 414w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-304519" class="wp-caption-text">Leaked Xiaomi Mi 10 poster is in line with the official design</figcaption></figure>
<p>According to a leaked image of the Mi 10 Pro, the phone will feature an additional camera in the rear setup. If you look closely at the image below (leaked), the Mi 10 Pro will come with five cameras. On the front side, it is expected to house a punch-hole display with curved sides, just like the standard Mi 10 model. So the camera seems to be the only major difference between the designs of the two models.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-301403" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Pro-5G-leaked-images-2.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="690" height="518" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Pro-5G-leaked-images-2.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Pro-5G-leaked-images-2-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Pro-5G-leaked-images-2-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Pro-5G-leaked-images-2-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Pro-5G-leaked-images-2-559x420.jpg 559w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></p>
<p><strong>You can read more about the design by <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/01/20/xiaomi-mi-10-pro-5g-real-life-images-reveals-108mp-quad-cameras-and-punch-hole-display/">clicking here</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/01/03/xiaomi-mi-10-tempered-glass-leaks-bearing-a-curved-edge-design/">here</a>.</strong></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Display</h3>
<p>Both Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will have a curved AMOLED display, but the vanilla Mi 10 is confirmed to feature a 90 Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Xiaomi has already revealed a lot of details about the standard Mi 10 model, so let&#8217;s take a look at it first.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-display-features.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-305037" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-display-features.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 10 display features" width="690" height="920" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-display-features.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-display-features-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-display-features-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<p>The Mi 10 will come with a 6.67-inch curved edge AMOLED display. It will support HDR+ and DCI-P3 color gamut as well as <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/04/03/what-is-dc-dimming-why-its-important-for-amoled-smartphones/">DC dimming</a>. It will be a custom made panel with a contrast ratio of 5000000:1 and a peak brightness of 1120 nits. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> claims that this panel features industry-leading levels of JNCD (Just Noticeable Color Difference) and Delta E values and its better than the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-11-pro-max/">iPhone 11 Pro Max&#8217;</a>s screen. Further, each display is calibrated one by one before heading out of the factory. You can read all about the Mi 10&#8217;s display <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/12/xiaomi-mi-10-to-sport-professional-grade-90hz-punch-hole-display-with-curved-edges/">from our coverage here</a>.</p>
<p>As for the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, we don&#8217;t have any official information. It is said that the phone could feature a larger display with a 120Hz refresh rate, just like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-poco-x2/">Poco X2</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s20-5g/">Galaxy S20</a> models. Other display specs are expected to be identical to the non-Pro model.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Specifications and Software</h3>
<p>Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will be fueled by the new Snapdragon 865 SoC by Qualcomm (<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/01/02/xiaomi-mi-10-series-first-to-debut-with-snapdragon-865-soc-in-q1-2020/">confirmed</a>) which comes bundled with an integrated 5G modem supporting both sub-6 GHz frequencies and mmWave. So both Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will support 5G connectivity. It is the most powerful Qualcomm&#8217;s chipset and it packs the Adreno 650 GPU for very high graphics performance. The chipset will be paired <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/06/micron-announces-mass-production-of-worlds-first-lpddr5-ram-will-come-first-on-xiaomi-mi-10-series/">with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM</a> and internal storage of 128, 256 or 512 GB depending on the chosen configuration. Xiaomi has confirmed that the base variant of the Mi 10 <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/06/xiaomi-mi-10-series-base-model-will-have-8gb-ram-128gb-storage/">will start at 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage</a>. So, there&#8217;s no 64GB version anymore, clearly hinting at its premium placement this year.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android-10"> Android 10</a> will be obviously installed out of the box, customized by the MIUI 11. Unfortunately, it seems there will be no headphone jack. The only way to use wired earphones will be using an adapter for the USB-C port. According to leaked benchmarks Xiaomi Mi 10 scores <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/01/06/xiaomi-mi-10-image-render-560k-antutu-score-along-with-key-details-leaked/">more than 560,000 points on AnTuTu</a>.</p>
<p>Both the Mi 10 models are confirmed to feature a Vapour Chamber cooling system with multiple layers of graphite. In addition to this, the company claims that the phone uses AI machine learning as well as five temperature sensors to help monitor and adjust temperatures between 1 to 5 degrees. In short, the company promises overheating shouldn&#8217;t be a problem on the Xiaomi Mi 10 series. You can read more about the phone&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/10/xiaomi-mi-10-will-feature-an-oversized-vc-cooling-system-with-5-temp-monitoring-sensors/">cooling system here</a>.</p>
<p>The Mi 10 series is also confirmed to<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/11/latest-mi-10-teasers-reveal-camera-specs-battery-capacity-and-more-will-come-in-white-too/"> feature stereo speakers</a>, a much-welcomed change from its predecessors.</p>
<p>Other features confirmed on the Mi 10 include Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.0 storage.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>Camera</h3>
<p>Xiaomi Mi 10 and<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-10-pro-5g/"> Mi 10 Pr</a>o are expected to come with different camera setups. The Mi 10 Pro will naturally be the most amazing. It is rumored to sport a Penta rear camera setup including a 108 MP main sensor (the one we have already seen on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-note-10-pro/">Xiaomi Mi Note 10</a>, also known in China as the Xiaomi <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-cc9-pro/">Mi CC9 Pro)</a>, a 20 MP ultrawide sensor, a 12 MP telephoto sensor, a 5 MP depth sensor and a macro sensor. However, these are based on unconfirmed reports.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Camera-Details.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-304979" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Camera-Details.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 10 Camera Details" width="690" height="920" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Camera-Details.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Camera-Details-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Camera-Details-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<p>But Xiaomi has officially confirmed some of the specs on the standard Mi 10 model. The phone will feature a 108MP sensor with 8K video recording support. It will also have 10x hybrid optical zoom and up to 50x digital zoom with OIS and EIS. What&#8217;s more, the Mi 10 series will be able to shoot in HEIF format, a file format that takes up less space as compared to the standard JPEG. The phone gets support for slo-mo selfies and recording for a 2.35:1 cinematic aspect ratio. Xiaomi claims it will break new records on DxOMark tomorrow! So we are really excited to see the capability of the Mi 10 series.</p>
<p>The Mi 10 Pro camera specs are still under wraps but as mentioned above, expect an additional camera on the Pro variant on top of the 108MP setup found on the standard model. You can read all about the Mi 10 and its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/11/latest-mi-10-teasers-reveal-camera-specs-battery-capacity-and-more-will-come-in-white-too/">camera specs from here</a>.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>Battery</h3>
<p>Xiaomi Mi 10 is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/12/xiaomi-mi-10-has-a-4500mah-battery-with-50w-fast-charging-and-30w-wireless-charging/">confirmed to pack a big 4500 mAh battery</a> with 50W fast charging. The phone will support 30W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.</p>

<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-battery.jpg?x44794'><img width="690" height="920" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-battery.jpg?x44794" class="attachment-large size-large" alt="" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-battery.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-battery-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-battery-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a>
<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-charging.jpg?x44794'><img width="690" height="920" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-charging.jpg?x44794" class="attachment-large size-large" alt="" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-charging.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-charging-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Xiaomi-Mi-10-charging-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a>

<p>The company is yet to reveal the battery and charging specs of the Mi 10 Pro. But it is said that the Pro version <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/01/29/xiaomi-mi-10-pro-has-been-confirmed-by-miui-11-supports-66w-fast-charging/">could feature</a> one of the fastest charging technology available right now, charging at 66W power. Currently, the fastest charging smartphone is the Oppo Reno Ace <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/10/10/oppo-reno-ace-with-90hz-display-sd855-and-65w-charging-debuts-for-3199-yuan-449/">with a 65W fast charging technology</a>. The Mi 10 Pro is said to fully charge from 0 to 100 percent <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/12/27/xiaomi-mi-10-pro-with-66w-fast-charging-said-to-charge-in-around-35-minutes/">in just 35 minutes</a>. A tipster suggested that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/01/02/xiaomi-mi-10-to-come-with-a-bigger-battery-than-mi-10-pro/">Mi 10 Pro could have a smaller battery</a>. This could be a possibility given how a Xiaomi executive explained the charging speed and battery capacity of a phone are inversely proportional. So, if the Mi 10 Pro comes with a faster 66W charger, the company could be forced to reduce its capacity to just around 4000mAh. But these are just speculations at the moment. You can read more about the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/01/02/xiaomi-mi-10-to-come-with-a-bigger-battery-than-mi-10-pro/"> battery specs of the Mi 10 from here</a>.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h2>Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro – Launch, price, and availability</h2>
<p>Xiaomi Mi 10 series could be pretty expensive at launch. The company executives have <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/10/xiaomi-mi-10-aims-to-take-on-the-high-end-likely-to-be-expensive/">stressed how the Mi 10 is aimed at the premium segment</a> and this year it wants to get a hold on the high-end market. Rumors claim the Mi 10 base variant could start at 4200 yuan ($599), so we imagine the Pro variants to be pretty expensive <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/09/24/xiaomi-mi-9-pro-5g-launched-with-sd855-12-gb-ram-and-30w-wireless-charging-in-china/">as compared to its predecessor</a>. We speculate a starting price between 4000 Yuan (~$574) and 4,500 Yuan (~$646) for the Mi 10. This would be higher than the starting price of the Mi 9 Pro 5G: 3699 yuan ($533). The Mi 10 Pro is expected to be priced much higher.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/mi-10-pro-3.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-304556" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/mi-10-pro-3.png?x44794" alt="XIaomi Mi 10 pro" width="691" height="407" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/mi-10-pro-3.png 691w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/mi-10-pro-3-300x177.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 691px) 100vw, 691px" /></a></p>
<p>The Xiaomi Mi 10 series will officially launch on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/08/xiaomi-is-launching-the-xiaomi-mi-10-on-feb-13-at-an-online-only-event/">Feb. 13 i.e. tomorrow in China</a> via an online-only event. The company will launch the phone in Europe on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/07/xiaomi-mi-10-launch-23-february/">Feb. 23 at MWC 2020</a>, Barcelona.</p>
<p>Well, it remains to be seen if <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/mwc-2020">MWC 2020</a> will proceed as planned. The organizers of the event are currently considering canceling the event <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/10/sony-amazon-and-nvidia-withdraw-from-mwc-2020-due-to-rising-concerns-of-coronavirus-outbreak/">due to the ongoing coronavirus epidemic</a>.</p>
<p>Nevertheless, stay tuned to gizmochina as we cover the Mi 10 series launch tomorrow.</p>

The Galaxy S20 will officially launch on February 11 in the US and the Xiaomi Mi 10 is expected to launch soon after that. While initial reports said that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi/">Xiaomi</a> flagship could be announced just before the S20&#8217;s launch, it looks like February 13 is a more probable launch date for the device in China.</p>
<figure id="attachment_303207" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-303207" style="width: 500px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Pro-5G.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-303207" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Pro-5G.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G" width="500" height="500" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Pro-5G.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Pro-5G-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Pro-5G-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Xiaomi-Mi-10-Pro-5G-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a><figcaption id="caption-attachment-303207" class="wp-caption-text">Mi 10 concept render</figcaption></figure>
<p>After confirming that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi-mi-10">Xiaomi Mi 10</a> will come with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/06/micron-announces-mass-production-of-worlds-first-lpddr5-ram-will-come-first-on-xiaomi-mi-10-series/">LPDDR5</a>, Micron also announced that it would select 5 fans and give them a 100 yuan JD.com coupon to help purchase the new Xiaomi flagship. While it&#8217;s common to send out gifts to fans on Weibo, what&#8217;s interesting here is that they have given a date. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/micron">Micron</a> said it would give out the coupon to selected users on February 13 to purchase the Mi 10, which could be when the phone goes on sale.</p>

<p>This is not the first time we are hearing this launch date for the device. A couple of days ago, a leak suggested that the Xiaomi <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/03/xiaomi-mi-10-launch-event-could-be-held-on-february-13/">Mi 10 would be launched on Feb. 13</a> in an online-only event. The reservations are expected to kick-off three days before the official launch, on Feb. 10. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-10">Xiaomi Mi 10</a> could go on sale on Feb. 14. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-10-pro">Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro</a> could be available a few days later, on Feb. 18.</p>
<p>Considering the earlier leak and today&#8217;s post by Micron, there&#8217;s a very strong possibility that the Xiaomi Mi 10 is announced on Feb. 13. And if the leak is to be believed, the company will confirm the online launch event tomorrow.</p>

<p>Recently, a Xiaomi 5G smartphone with the model number &#8220;<span class="notranslate">M2001J1E</span>&#8221; appeared at the China Quality Certification Center. <p><a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> recently disclosed that it plans to launch up to ten 5G smartphones next year. Obviously, the Mi 10 will be among the flagship models with top-level configuration including ae 5G modem. Here are some of what we know so far about the upcoming flagship.</p>
<p>The Mi 10 is expected to launch around March next year and is said to adopt a curved OLED display design. The display will also have the 120Hz refresh rate which would deliver smooth gaming experience to its users. The flagship model is also touted to come with a punch-hole design for the selfie camera with a diameter that may be less than 2mm. The Vivo S5 was recently launched as the first non-Samsung model to have a punch-hole OLED screen.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/xiaomi.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-290715" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/xiaomi.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="640" height="858" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/xiaomi.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/xiaomi-224x300.jpg 224w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/xiaomi-313x420.jpg 313w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a></p>
<h6 class="related"><strong>EDITOR&#8217;S PICK: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/10/01/first-samples-from-the-100mp-mi-mix-alpha-is-here-we-are-not-impressed">First Samples from the 108MP Mi Mix Alpha is here &amp; we are not impressed!</a></strong></h6>
<p>At the rear aspect, the Xiaomi Mi 10 is likely to retain the Yuba bikes-styled Quad camera setup with all four sensors lining up behind each other in a vertical direction. There are equally rumours of a 108MP main camera sensor among the array.</p>
<p>Furthermore, the Mi 10 will no doubt be powered by Qualcomm&#8217;s next-gen Snapdragon 865 chipset and would have a UFS 3.0 flash memory. The chipset would have a 5G modem onboard with support for NSA/SA networks. The device is also expected to have support for 40W wireless fast charging which Xiaomi is reportedly already testing or may even come with 50W wireless charging support. At the moment, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/09/24/xiaomi-launches-a-vertical-air-cooled-30w-wireless-charger-priced-at-199-yuan-28/">highest wireless charger rating from Xiaomi is 30W</a>. We may also see <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/11/21/xiaomis-100w-super-charge-turbo-wired-fast-charge-technology-to-arrive-in-devices-next-year/">Xiaomi&#8217;s 100W Super Charge Turbo wired charger</a> ship with the device. The fast charger was tipped to arrive in Xiaomi phones next year so the Mi 10 may be the first.</p>
<p>Another rumour making the rounds is that the Mi 10 series would include the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. This isn&#8217;t new as the present Mi 9 flagship launched earlier this year had a Mi 9 Pro model. There is no word yet as to the distinguishing features between both variants.</p>
