The smartphones approved by EEC are expected to debut in Europe in future. Few more Xiaomi handsets were also certified yesterday by the EEC.</p>
<p>Smartphones such as Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, Mi 8, Mi 8 Explorer Edition, Mi 8 SE, Mi 8 Pro, Redmi 6, Redmi 6 Pro, Redmi 6A, Redmi 6S and Redmi 6X were certified by the EEC yesterday. As it can be seen, some of these smartphones have already launched in China, but Mi A2 Lite, Mi 8 Pro, Redmi 6S and 6X are yet to go official. EEC certificate was issued to these smartphones on June 14, 2018 and it is valid until January 2027.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/06/28/redmi-6x-6s-mi-a2-lite-and-mi-8-pro-have-received-eec-approval-along-with-other-xiaomi-phones/xiaomi-eec-models/" rel="attachment wp-att-198531"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-198531" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Xiaomi-EEC-Models.png?x10805" alt="Xiaomi EEC Models" width="867" height="567" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Xiaomi-EEC-Models.png 867w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Xiaomi-EEC-Models-300x196.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Xiaomi-EEC-Models-768x502.png 768w" sizes="(max-width: 867px) 100vw, 867px" /></a></p>
<p>The Mi A2 Lite with a model number of M1805D15SG was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/06/03/mi-a2-lite-passes-through-singapores-communications-authority/">spotted at the Singapore’s Communications Authority</a> in the previous month. Apart from this, there is no other information available on this smartphone.</p>
<p>Among the recently introduced Redmi 6 series, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-6-pro-2/">Redmi 6 Pro</a> features a notched 19:9 display whereas the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-6">Redmi 6</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-6a">Redmi 6A</a> phones have notch-less 18:9 display. Since the Redmi 6 and 6X are not “Pro” models, there is a possibility that they arrive with full screen design like the Redmi 6 and 6A smartphones.</p>
<p>The Mi 8 Pro was not announced at the launch event of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-8">Mi 8</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-8-explorer-edition/">Mi 8 Explorer Edition</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-8-se/">Mi 8 SE</a> that was held at the end of May. There is a possibility that the Mi 8 Pro could be nothing but the highest storage variant of the Mi 8 that features 256 GB of storage.</p>

<p>Apart from the aforementioned devices, smartphones like Mi 7 Lite, Mi Mix 2s, Mi Mix 3S, Mi S1, Mi S2, Mi S3, Redmi S1, Redmi S3, Redmi A1, Redmi A2, Redmi Note 6, Redmi Note 6A, Redmi Note 6A Prime, Redmi Note 6 Prime, Redmi 6 Plus, and Redmi 6A Plus were also approved by EEC in May. Xiaomi made its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/04/26/hello-mother-russia-xiaomi-makes-grand-entry-russia-three-smartphones/">foray into the Eastern Europe</a> earlier this year including its launch in Russia and it is also working on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/10/28/xiaomi-set-storm-western-europe-launching-spain-november-7/">expanding its business in Western Europe</a>. Hence, it appears that all the Xiaomi phones that have been approved by EEC recently may soon begin launching in Europe.</p>

A new info has confirmed the next flagship may arrive in less than two weeks.</p>
<p>A photo taken outside a China Mobile store shows a LED signpost that says pre-order for the Xiaomi Mi 7 begins May 27. This lends credibility to the leaked poster that mentioned the phone will launch on May 23.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-190556" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomi-Mi-7-LED-signpost.jpg?x10805" alt="Xiaomi Mi 7 LED signpost" width="600" height="1006" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomi-Mi-7-LED-signpost.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomi-Mi-7-LED-signpost-179x300.jpg 179w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>If the Xiaomi Mi 7 arrives this month that puts a 2-month gap between it and the Mi MIX 2s which seems pretty small. We have a feeling it may affect sales of the MIX flagship even though there will be a few differences in design and some features.</p>
<p>The Xiaomi Mi 7 is rumored to have a 5.6-inch OLED display with a notch at the top. Qualcomm&#8217;s Snapdragon 845 is the expected chipset of choice and it is paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage.</p>
<p>It is also expected to support wireless charging like the Mi MIX 2s, and have dual rear cameras, 3D facial recognition, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 3,350mAh battery.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #ff0000;">READ MORE:</span> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/05/12/xiaomi-unveils-its-smart-home-products-for-the-u-s-compatible-with-google-assistant/">Xiaomi Unveils Its Smart Home Products For The U.S, Compatible with Google Assistant</a><span id="more-190554"></span></p>
<p>There is a chance the Mi 7 won&#8217;t come alone. Earlier today, we reported a list of unreleased Xiaomi products listed on the Eurasian Economic Commissions&#8217; website and it mentioned the Mi 7 Lite. This means we should expect a less-powerful variant of this year&#8217;s flagship alongside the rumored Mi Band 3.</p>
<p>Are you excited for the Xiaomi Mi 7 or you prefer the Mi MIX 2s? Do let us know what you think?</p>

If you are eager to know what Xiaomi has planned for the next 6 months or more, then this should excite you.</p>
<p>A list of Xiaomi products (released and mostly unreleased) just surfaced online. It was seen on the website of the Eurasian Economic Commission and mentions a bunch of unreleased phones under the Mi and Redmi series. It also includes the already launched <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-mix-2s/">Mi MIX 2s</a> and the spanking new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-s2/">Redmi S2</a>.</p>
<p>The Xiaomi Mi 7 is rumored to launch this month but it seems it will bring along a less powerful variant called Mi 7 Lite. There is also a new S-series that includes the Mi S1, Mi S2, Mi S3, Redmi S1, and Redmi S3.</p>
<figure id="attachment_190502" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-190502" style="width: 1060px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-190502" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomi-Lineup.png?x10805" alt="Xiaomi product lineup includes mi 7 Lite, Mi MIX 3s and more" width="1060" height="550" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomi-Lineup.png 1060w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomi-Lineup-300x156.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomi-Lineup-768x398.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Xiaomi-Lineup-1024x531.png 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 1060px) 100vw, 1060px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-190502" class="wp-caption-text">Xiaomi product lineup &#8211; includes Mi 7 Lite, Mi MIX 3s and more.</figcaption></figure>
<p>The Mi MIX 2s will also have a successor called the Mi MIX 3s which makes us wonder if there will be no Mi MIX 3. The Redmi series will also be getting some new members.</p>
<p>The list mentions a Redmi A1 and Redmi A2 in addition to successors to the already existing Redmi series. So we should expect the Redmi Note 6, Redmi Note 6A, Redmi Note 6a Prime, Redmi Note 6 Prime, Redmi 6 Plus, and Redmi 6a Plus will replace the current Redmi lineup.</p>
