Today, Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro is on sale in China after the announcement at an event on Septemeber 19th. It is available in 6GB +128GB variant and 8GB +128GB variant for 3199 Yuan  (~$467) and 3599 Yuan  (~$525) respectively. It seems this time Xiaomi is here with an abundance of stock as the device is still available in 8GB+128GB variant for purchase and hasn’t gone out-of-stock. Last week, it was announced along with the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite which is a mid-range device with Snapdragon 660 onboard.

The major pro of the device is its on-screen fingerprint scanner which brings convenience for the users. Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro with an on-screen fingerprint sensor is a high-end device available with Snapdragon 845 SoC and variable RAM option of 6/8 GB. It features 6.21 inch of Super AMOLED display having a 2248 x 1080 resolution and a notch.

The cameras on the rear are dual 12MP sensors with OIS and optical zoom, while there’s a 20 f/2.0 megapixel sensor in the notch. Its camera supports AI features such as AI scene recognition and AI beautify.  It is powered with a 3400 mAh battery with the fast charging tech. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo atop MIUI skin. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, dual-band GPS, dual–SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB OTG, USB Type-C, 3G and 4G.
