It’s been just a few hours, and even testers have started playing with it. The new flagship from Xiaomi has been disassembled by Van Teng (@Thomas) and has posted images of it on Weibo handle. The new Mi 9 disarmed photos are giving us a sneak peek into its triple camera module, Snapdragon 855 and various other elements. The device carries Gorilla Glass 5 on the back to make it protect against usual falls.

Further, the device hosts a 20W wireless charging coil which is touted to be the World’s fastest. The device’s NFC antenna is also placed near the charging coil and above the 3300 mAh battery. On further loosening it, device packs motherboard packing new Snapdragon 855 chipset, 8GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. It is mounted in a 7000 series aluminum chassis. In order to dissipate additional heat, the Chinese company has covered the motherboard with metal heat spreaders and thermal paste.

Moreover, to make it thin, Xiaomi has precisely bundled it with the support of metal screws and paste. Furthermore, we can see the fingerprint recognition module on the lower part along with large Z-axis motor on the right side.

Xiaomi has invested a lot in its rear camera which carries a triple sensor module. It consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor and 12 MP secondary telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom. There’s a 3rd 3D ToF camera which makes the whole module almost uncomparable with the predecessors. These three cameras module can be seen in the image above.

Moving further, there’s a bottom module which carries USB-C port, loudspeaker grill, and other electronic equipment.

Overall, Xiaomi has arranged the high-end specs in an entirely better manner. It embeds needed arrangements to dissipate heat from its motherboard.
