Xiaomi has announced via its Mi Home Weibo page that two new smart home products would be launching on February 14. The two new products would be Xiaomi 60th and 61st smart home products. While the 60th product is likely a smart guitar, the 1st product looks like a child wristwatch with GPS functionality, perhaps for tracking the location of the child.

The teaser for the Smart guitar launch points at the fact that the guitar will likely be able to teach new learners how to play in just 10 minutes. Although that looks nearly impossible, that is what we can grab from the teaser. The current crop of smart guitars in the market are priced around 1,000-2000 yuan and they come with an app which helps with stuff like metronome timer, auxiliary tuning function etc.

Also, when the instructional video is being played, as the instructor plays his guitar on the video, there are LED lights on the guitar that lights up simultaneously showing the real-time fingering. Such an advance product, but we don’t know what price it would launch with. Both products would meet with us on February 14 by 10am.

Xiaomi crowdfunding is all set to unveil its 56th product tomorrow and it is likely going to be a sleeping mattress. Just fresh out of the launch of the 69 Yuan-Lunar Smart Sleep sensor, this latest product apparently isn’t the first mattress product from Xiaomi’s crowdfunding platform but perhaps it offers much more than the previous one.

According to the teased posters, the bed product will be launched on December 6 (tomorrow) by 10.00am. The product may not necessarily be as Smart bed that makes you fall asleep or monitor your sleeping pattern but it is touted to offer healthy sleep.

In addition the mattress seems to be made from a material which doesn’t harbor bugs and is soft, lightweight, as well as comfortable. Another teased point is that the mattress will come in very cheap. The previously launched 8H Latex mattress M1 presently sells for between 799 Yuan and 1539 Yuan so we really can’t say how cheap this one will be. Of course, we’ll wait for tomorrow’s launch to get more details.

Xiaomi is set to launch another new product via its crowdfunding app and the launch is scheduled for December 1. This information was contained in a series of teasers posted on the Weibo page of the Mi App, formerly known as Xiaomi smart home app. The series of Weibo posts contained some encoded texts and attached images which all talks about changing the quality of sleep. Perhaps are they referring to a sleeping bed?

From the posts, we can grab that the product will be the 55th crowdfunded product but the teasers didn’t help matters as it is still difficult to grasp what the product really is. One of the teasers contained what looked like a cat’s head, another a young girl, the third was the image of the cartoon version of the Tin man from legendary film, The Wizard of Oz.

We’ll not also forget that the Mi App was formerly known as Xiaomi Smart home app, so it is possible that this would be a smart home product. December 1 is a day away, so its just reasonable that we wait for the new product that go on a wild guessing spree.
