Today, Xiaomi announced the Mi Power Bank 3 Pikachu Edition but it turns out that isn’t the only Xiaomi product that got a Pokémon-themed custom edition. The official Xiaomi website contains other items that also got a Pikachu makeover.

Alongside the Mi Power Bank 3, the Xiaomi Pocket Photo Printer, Mi Air 2s TWS earbuds, Mi Backpack 10L, and Xiaomi Suitcase 20-inches also come in customized Pikachu Editions.

The Xiaomi Pocket Photo Printer Pikachu Edition is priced at ¥399 (~$60) and has the popular Pokémon’s smiling face printed on its yellow plastic body. The Mi Air 2s also gets a similar yellow coat of paint for its earbuds and case but a different Pikachu smiling face and a price tag of ¥399 (~$60) too.

The Mi Backpack 10L is ¥59 and comes in Pikachu Yellow with zippers styled like the Pokemon’s tail. It has all the features of the regular backpack including a water repellent coating.

The Xiaomi Suitcase 20-inches Pikachu Edition also has a ¥399 (~$60) price tag with Pikachu’s face on the top and its tail for zippers.

All five products including the power bank are available for purchase on Mi.com and seems will only be available for a limited time. So if you are a Pikachu or Pokémon fan at large, you may want to hurry and grab yours as soon as possible.

Xiaomi isn’t the first manufacturer to launch Pikachu-themed products. OPPO announced a customized Pikachu SuperVOOC power bank and OPPO R17 Pro protective cases in 2018. Razer also has a collection of Pikachu-themed accessories including a custom pair of its hammerhead TWS earbuds that come in a Poké Ball-like case. A few months ago, Anker also announced a range of Pikachu-themed products that include a power adapter, a wireless charger, a charging cable, and a power bank.

Xiaomi announced a ton of products ahead of Mi Fan Festival 2020 including new smart TVs, security cameras, smart doorbells, a humidifier, Redmi Band, and even a limited edition Redmi Note 9S. Apart from these products, the company also unveiled a new variant of its popular Mi Backpack and a brand-new Mijia Sneakers 4.

Xiaomi Mi Backpack Starry / Camouflage

The new Xiaomi Mi Backpack is exactly the same 10L-sized model from 2018, which comes in 8 colors and was recently even updated with a 20L variant. But what makes it different from the previous models is the unique color and pattern they come in, albeit there are only two – Starry and Camouflage.

That means this variant of Mi Backpack measures the same 34 x 22.5 x 13 cm but weighs 8g lesser at 157g. It is made of polyester with 4 levels of water splash resistance and features EPE shoulder straps. It has a single compartment, an accessory pocket, and two bottle holders on either side.

As for pricing, the new Mi Backpack costs only 29 Yuan ($4) and will be available from April 9.

Xiaomi Mijia Sneakers 4

Coming to the new Mijia Sneakers 4, as the name suggests, it is the fourth generation footwear from the company. It follows the same light-weight design as its predecessors but with a better shock absorption technology to avoid shaking and spraining of the foot while intense activities, which further avoids damage to the knees.

The sneakers are manufactured by a uni-molding process by placing the E-TPU material along with other four types of sole components in the mold in a way they are tightly glued to offer longevity. They also feature Microban antibacterial compounds to reduce odor.

Also, these sneakers are machine washable and hence the wearer need not worry when they accumulate dirt. The Mijia Sneakers 4 is priced at 199 yuan ($28) come in Black, Blue, and Grey color options. It will go on sale from April 9 like most of the products announced by Xiaomi today.

Xiaomi has launched a new backpack under the Youpin platform. The backpack is manufactured by the Shanghai Runmi Technology company also known as 90 points but has the Mi branding. For clarity, 90 Points is Xiaomi’ line for lifestyle products. Some of the products released under the line include suitcases, smart running shoes, backpacks, and t-shirts.

The new Mi Backpack is available in a range of colourful options, eight (8) different colours in total. The backpack comes with a 10L capacity which is enough to hold a tablet computer, cameras, cups, even small umbrellas and other items. The compact size ensures it doesn’t take enough space and is easy to carry. The size also ensures it can be carried inside a large backpack or suitcase.

In terms of dimension, the new Mi backpack measures 34 x 22.5 x 13cm and weighs just 165g. The fabric is made of 100% polyester material. The fabric is treated with a water-repellent coating which makes the bag suitable for use in the rains. The backpack is available in Black, Pink, Yellow, Navy Blue, Orange, Mint Green, Red and Bright Blue.

The Mi backpack comes with a 29 yuan ($4) price tag and is presently available on the Youpin website. The backpack will also be available outside China from online retailers like GearBest and Banggood.
