The same is applicable with the Mi Max 3 as well. Xiaomi has already shown us its design, specs, and teased a few features giving us a clear picture of the handset.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Design</h3>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/mi-max-3-render-1.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-201627" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/mi-max-3-render-1.jpg?x10805" alt="Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Render" width="690" height="345" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/mi-max-3-render-1.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/mi-max-3-render-1-300x150.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<p>Apart from the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-mix-2s/">Mi Mix series</a>, rest of Xiaomi&#8217;s smartphones have featured standard designs. In case of the Mi Max 3, Xiaomi is adopting the exact same design as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-6x-mi-a2/">Mi 6X</a>. This means that you get a top left placed dual camera setup with flash in between, center placed fingerprint sensor at the back, and up front, thin bezels on the top and the bottom. In short, consider the Mi Max 3 as an enlarged version of the Mi 6X.</p>
<p>There are <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/17/xiaomi-mi-max-3-official-renders/">three color options confirmed on the Mi Max 3</a> namely black, blue, and gold.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/mi-max-3-render-7.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-201634" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/mi-max-3-render-7.jpg?x10805" alt="mi-max-3-render-7" width="720" height="360" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/mi-max-3-render-7.jpg 720w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/mi-max-3-render-7-300x150.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Specs</h3>
<p>Apart <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/?s=mi+max+3&amp;post_type=post">from one leak a few weeks back</a>, there hasn&#8217;t been much information about the rumoured<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-max-3-pro/"><strong> Mi Max 3 Pro</strong></a> version with Snapdragon 710 inside. It&#8217;s quite possible that there is just one processor version of the Mi Max 3 with Snapdragon 636 inside. This particular model has been detailed<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/18/xiaomi-mi-max-3-specifications-confirmed-by-xiaomi-president-lin-bin/"> in the most recent teaser revealed by the company president Lin Bin</a>, thereby confirming its key specs.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/XIaomi-Mi-Max-3-Specs-Officially-Confirmed.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-201791" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/XIaomi-Mi-Max-3-Specs-Officially-Confirmed.jpg?x10805" alt="" width="600" height="300" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/XIaomi-Mi-Max-3-Specs-Officially-Confirmed.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/XIaomi-Mi-Max-3-Specs-Officially-Confirmed-300x150.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">So, the confirmed Mi Max 3 specs are as follows:</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>6.9-inch FHD+ 18:9 Display</li>
<li>Snapdragon 636</li>
<li>4+64 storage</li>
<li>6+128 storage</li>
<li>12+5MP rear cameras</li>
<li>8MP front camera</li>
<li>5500mAh battery</li>
</ul>
<p>There are a bunch of other AI enabled features as well like Face Unlock, Single Camera bokeh, AI scene recognition, Voice assistant etc.</p>
<p>Note that the Mi Max 3 has already passed multiple certifications websites like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/06/20/xiaomi-mi-max-3-tenaa-images-reveal-its-design-from-all-sides/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">TENAA</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/03/xiaomis-mi-max-3-not-pro-gets-certified-in-taiwan/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">NCC (Taiwan</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">), and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/13/xiaomi-mi-max-3-and-pocophone-appear-among-5-xiaomi-phones-certified-by-eec-it-will-come-in-europe/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">EEC (Eurasian</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">). Further, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/04/xiaomi-mi-max-3-cases-reveal-updated-design-with-vertical-dual-camera/">according to these case renders</a>, the phablet will feature an IR port as well. Recently, Xiaomi seems to have skipped this <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/06/17/xiaomi-removes-key-feature-from-redmi-6-and-redmi-6a/">particular feature from some of its recent smartphones</a>, so it&#8217;s worth mentioning that the Mi Max 3 is likely going have it. </span></p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Price</h3>
<p>While Xiaomi is yet to officially announce a price tag for the Mi Max 3, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/18/xiaomi-mi-max-3-specifications-confirmed-by-xiaomi-president-lin-bin/">it has confirmed that it will be under 2000 Yuan (~$300)</a>. This is likely for the highest end model, i.e. 6GB+128GB edition, which would be a pretty good deal!</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Xiaom-Mi-Max-3-pricing-teaser.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-201808" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Xiaom-Mi-Max-3-pricing-teaser-576x1024.jpg?x10805" alt="Xiaom Mi Max 3 pricing teaser" width="576" height="1024" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Xiaom-Mi-Max-3-pricing-teaser-576x1024.jpg 576w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Xiaom-Mi-Max-3-pricing-teaser-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/Xiaom-Mi-Max-3-pricing-teaser.jpg 507w" sizes="(max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px" /></a></p>
<p>To recall, the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-max-2/"> Xiaomi Mi Max 2</a> was launched in two models like 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage with respective pricing of 1,699 Yuan (~$253) and 1,999 Yuan (~$298). So, the company seems to be aiming for a similar pricing strategy this year as well.</p>
<p>But this year, for this price, there will be big upgrades as compared to its predecessor like in the processor department (SD636 vs 625), display (6.9 vs 6.4), battery (5500 vs 5300mAh), and even the cameras (12+5 dual cams vs 12MP single cam).</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Release &amp; Sale</h3>
<p>Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will be officially announced on July 19. The phone is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/17/xiaomi-mi-max-3-appears-with-key-specs-on-jd-release-date-revealed/">already up for reservations on JD.com</a> and will go on sale on July 20 at 10AM.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>So what do you think about the Mi Max 3?</p>

The listing had revealed that it features an octa-core processor that clocks at 1.8 GHz. Since then the rumor mill has been speculating that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/06/20/xiaomi-mi-max-3-tenaa-images-reveal-its-design-from-all-sides/">it may feature the Snapdragon 636</a> that also powers the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-5-pro">Redmi Note 5 Pro</a> handset. However, multiple rumors have been claimed that there could be an advanced Mi Max 3 model that will be fueled by the Snapdragon 710 SoC. A leaked screenshot that seems to show the official listing of a device named <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi/">Xiaomi</a> Mi Max Pro 3 has surfaced. It reveals the alleged Mi Max 3 Pro could be featuring the Snapdragon 710 SoC.</p>
<p>The screengrab shows that the Mi Max 3 Pro is fitted with a 6.9-inch display. The Snapdragon 710 SoC is assisted by 6 GB of RAM. The handset includes an inbuilt storage of 128 GB. It receives power from a behemoth battery of 5,400mAh capacity.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/06/26/xiaomi-mi-max-3-pro-with-snapdragon-710-6-gb-ram-128-gb-of-storage-appears-in-new-leak/xiaomi-mi-max-3-pro-snapshot/" rel="attachment wp-att-198108"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-198108" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Xiaomi-Mi-Max-3-Pro-Snapshot.jpg?x10805" alt="" width="600" height="336" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Xiaomi-Mi-Max-3-Pro-Snapshot.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Xiaomi-Mi-Max-3-Pro-Snapshot-300x168.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>The image of the phone reveals that the Mi Max Pro 3 will be arriving with a vertical dual camera setup. It will feature Sony IMX363 as the primary sensor.  It is the very same camera sensor that can be found on flagship phones like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-mix-2s">Mi MIX 2S</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-8">Mi 8</a>. The handset is also equipped with stereo speakers. The color variants of the Mi Max 3 Pro are Black and Gold.</p>
<p>As far as the design of the Mi Max Pro 3 is concerned, it matches with the images that had surfaced through its TENAA listing. A fingerprint scanner can be seen residing with the vertical dual camera setup on the back panel of the smartphone.</p>

<p>Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Mi Max 3 Pro will be officially announced in July. However, there is no information available on the exact launch date. Xiao AI, the voice assistant from Xiaomi has recently revealed that the company will be <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/06/25/xiaomi-to-launch-new-product-on-july-3-could-it-be-mi-max-3-or-mi-6x-hatsune-edition/">announcing a new product on July 3</a>. Could it be launching the Mi Max 3 and Max 3 Pro on July 3? It is advisable to wait for further reports to confirm on the launch date of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-max-2">Mi Max 2’s</a> successor.</p>
<p>Since the authenticity of the above image could not be confirmed, it is recommended to digest this report with a grain of salt.</p>
