Earlier this month, Xiaomi launched Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi K30 Ultra to commemorate its 10th anniversary. However, the new Xiaomi Device Control app is currently only available on the former device. This app was first reported by a Telegram channel called @miuiknoun (via XDA Developers). It only supports Mi 10 Ultra, Mi 9 and Mi NoteBook Pro 15 2020 as of now. It should be compatible with more smartphones and laptop models from the company in the coming weeks. As the name indicates, the device will be the successor to the Mi Notebook Pro 15 launched last year.

The official poster of the upcoming laptop shared by Xiaomi reveals some details about the device. It shows that the laptop will have an aluminum build with a textured design. The bezels surrounding the display don’t appear narrow but the left and right edges are pretty narrow compared to the top and bottom edges.

The image also reveals that there are two USB Type-C ports on the right side of the device, along with a memory card slot. However, in terms of design, the upcoming laptop doesn’t seem to differ compared to its predecessor.

The company has not yet revealed any information about the features and specifications of this Mi Notebook Pro 15 2020 model. But given that the launch is just a couple of days from now, it’s not a long wait to know more about the device.

Interestingly, the launch of this new laptop in China is set just a day after the company is set to launch its first laptop in the Indian market. On June 11th, i.e. tomorrow, Xiaomi will launch its Mi Notebook in India, which is rumored to be the Mi Notebook Horizon Edition.

The company has confirmed that the upcoming laptop for the Indian market, is targeted towards power users and will come powered by the latest 10th generation Intel Core i7 processor. Thus, the pricing of the device won’t fall in the affordable category.
