It is Summer in India which means more sunlight than other seasons of the year and therefore more UV rays penetrating your eyes. To protect your eyes when you are outdoors, it is advised you get a pair of sunglasses. Xiaomi makes sunglasses as one of its lifestyle products and they are now available for purchase in India.

At the moment, it has just two versions available – the Mi Polarized Square Sunglasses which comes in Blue and Gray and the Mi Polarized Pilot Sunglasses which comes in Blue and Green. Both glasses are priced at INR 899 (~$13) and INR 1099 (~$16) respectively, INR 100 (~$1.43)off their original prices.

The two sunglasses use TAC polarised lenses that are designed to eliminate glare, polarized light, and harmful UV rays. They have UV400 protection which provides 100% protection against UVA, UVB, and UVC rays up to 400nm.

The square sunglasses have TR90 frames that are durable, flexible and lightweight while the pilot sunglasses have 304H Metal frames that are also lightweight, flexible, and durable

The two sunglasses are scratch resistant and are unisex. They are also exclusive to the Mi Store. Unfortunately, Xiaomi has no version available for kids at the moment. It actually has in China but for some reason, it isn’t available in India yet.
