Micromax has already launched the In Note 2 and In 2b budget smartphones in India, and now, it is readying for the other In 2-series phones. Apart from the already launched devices, the series is also expected to comprise the In 2 and In 2c. The tipster Abhishek Yadav has now revealed the launch timeline of the latter.

The Micromax In 2c is tipped to launch by the end of April or early May 2022 in the Indian market. The device should arrive in the budget segment and will be powered by a UNISOC chipset.

The smartphone was spotted on Geekbench previously. As per the listing, the smartphone has 347 points in the single-core department and 1127 points in the multi-core department. It has the UNISOC T610 octa-core chipset with all eight cores clocked at 1.82GHz. The phone has 4GB of RAM and Android 11 OS out of the box.

In addition to this, the device made it to the list of Google Play-supported devices. While that listing didn’t reveal any explicit details, we still got to know that the launch is in the pipeline. Now, that the phone’s tipped release is just a few weeks away, we expect the company to start the marketing campaign for the phone via several teasers.

The Micromax In 2c is expected to come under sub-Rs. 10,000(~$131) price range in the country. We could see it getting released in several colors like the sibling In 2b.
