Last month, Xiaomi had launched the Mijia Air Purifier 4 Pro in its home country and now the company has launched a mini version of the same in China — Xiaomi Mijia Air Purifier 4 Lite for the price of 6,99 yuan which is approximately $108. However, for the first sale, which begins from today, the device will cost 599 yuan, which is around $93.

The Xiaomi Mijia Air Purifier 4 Lite has a rectangular design and takes up a small space of A4-sized paper when placed inside a room. The company says that the product is suitable for a space of 26-45m² and generates noise as low as 35.8db.

The device is also equipped with an LED display that shows some important information on the screen, including indoor PM2.5 numerical values in real-time.

One of the highlighting features is that it can deliver 6330 liters of fresh air per minute at a super-powerful speed. It is also 99.99% antibacterial and can effectively intercept inactivated bacteria for ensuring the user’s health.

The customers usually face issues in upgrading or replacing certain parts of the air purifier but not in this one as the company claims that it has been designed to make upgrading the filter and removing aldehydes effortless.

Similar to most other home products coming from Xiaomi, this one too has support for Mijia App for controlling the air purifier using a smartphone. Additionally, it also comes with support for XiaoAI smart voice assistant for controlling it thorugh voice commands.

Xiaomi has launched the MIJIA Purifier 4 Pro in China. The product is the successor to the MIJIA Air Purifier 3 that was launched way back in 2019. The new air purifier will go on sale from September 9 but is presently on pre-sale at Jingdong (JD.com). It starts at 1,299 yuan (~$200) but will be sold later on for 1,499 yuan (~$232).

The MIJIA Air Purifier 4 Pro comes with several upgrades aimed at efficient removal of aldehydes as well as perform deodorizing, antibacterial, and antiviral functions even in a home where there is a baby. The air purifier relies on a 360-degree surround air intake design, delivering up to 8330L of clean air quality per minute, which is equivalent to 10 square meters of baby room space.

The filter element of the MIJIA Air Purifier 4 Pro has a large area of ​​filter paper, and adopts a 5-layer high-precision lamination structure. Compared to the previous model, the unfolded area of ​​the filter paper has increased by 4000 square centimeters. Whether it is dust, pet hair, pollen, or PM2.5 particles, it can effectively filter them out and also absorb peculiar smell.

The aldehyde removal capacity of the filter element is increased by 185%. The removal rate of formaldehyde in one hour is as high as 95.37%, and the removal rate of toluene in one hour is more than 96%, which can effectively block the volatilization of invisible toxic gases in the home.

The air purifier also features antibacterial and anti-virus double coating resistant to the H1N1 virus, E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and other airborne pathogens by up to 99.99%. The device can also inactivate bacteria and viruses.

The MIJIA Air Purifier 4 Pro also does a good job in sound processing. Its operating noise is only 33 decibels which is more than 10 decibels lower than China’s noise standard for night living areas. Even if you turn it on full blast at night, it won’t disturb a sleeping child.

There is a protective grill at the top which protects users from direct access to the fan blades. The grille is removable allowing for the cleaning of the fan blades in order to avoid secondary pollution. The Air Purifier 4 Pro also features a concise and clear OLED touch interactive screen that can display PM2.5 data in real time. The three-color light bar intuitively feeds back the indoor air quality, and can also prompt the status of the filter element, warehouse door and grille at a glance.
