Xiaomi has launched the MIJIA Double-door Refrigerator 185L in China. The refrigerator was unveiled alongside the MIJIA Cross Four-door refrigerator 496L. The double door model comes in at a cheaper price tag of 1299 yuan (~$200) and is even on pre-sale for 1099 yuan (~$169). This is the largest model for the MIJIA Double-door refrigerator models which already include 118L, 160L, and 170L versions.

The MIJIA Double-door Refrigerator 185L adopts a PCM metal panel. It also has a wide door with a hidden handle design, which is easy to remove and wash. The body of the fridge is 1518mm tall and 525mm long. It can occupy an area of nearly 0.3 square meters, making it suitable for use in small and large apartments.

In terms of capacity, the refrigerator has a total volume of 185L and this includes a 127L refrigerator compartment and a 58L freezer compartment. The refrigerator compartment adopts three-layer adjustable shelves. The height of the layers can be adjusted according to needs.

The freezer compartment adopts a three-layer drawer design. Also, a row of evaporators is added on the top to ensure the cooling effect of the upper drawer. The refrigerator also comes with an automatic low-temperature regulator which is turned on when the ambient temperature is too low. This ensures that the refrigerator works normally. The fridge is also energy efficient as it only consumes around 0.68kWh of electricity per day. It also has a low operational noise level of 39dB.

The MIJIA Double-door Refrigerator 185L is already on sale in China.

Meet Xiaomi‘s latest smart home products released last week under the MIJIA brand – the MIJIA Double-door Refrigerator 185L and MIJIA Cross Four-door Refrigerator 496L. The four-door model boasts of first-class energy efficiency, independent exclusive variable temperature storage, silver ion antibacterial property and other selling points.

The 496L capacity of the MIJIA Cross Four-door refrigerator consists of two compartments, a 316L refrigerator compartment and a 162L freezer compartment. There is also an 18L independent variable greenhouse which can easily be used to separately store fruits, beverages, and meats.

The refrigerator is 833mm wide and 660mm thick. It supports a 90° right-angle opening. Even if it is placed against the wall, the drawer can be pulled out directly, making it easy to fetch objects smoothly.

The body has a Morandi gray satin brocade panel which is wear-resistant and doesn’t retain fingerprints. It is also easy to clean and seamlessly blends into modern home style. It supports silver ion antibacterial feature with a protection rate of up to 99.9%.

The refrigerating room adopts a full-width air supply back panel with 9 air outlets and 360° surrounding three-dimensional air supply. The design ensures the unit achieves refrigeration without frost so that you won’t have to occasionally remove ice.

The MIJIA Cross Four-door refrigerator 496L has four operating modes: smart, holiday, quick cooling, and quick freezing. The independent and exclusive temperature-changing cabin supports three temperature mode adjustments, and the exclusive temperature can be set according to the requirements of food storage.

In terms of performance, it is equipped with a first-level energy-efficient double-frequency conversion motor, which consumes only 0.83 kilowatt-hours of electricity per day, while achieving 38dB low noise. The refrigerator also supports remote control via the MIJIA app where the refrigerator status can be controlled with one hand. It also supports XiaoAI voice control.

The MIJIA Cross Four-door Refrigerator is priced at 3,499 yuan (~$538). It is presently up for reservation at Jingdong (JD.com) and will go on sale from May 1st.
