Xiaomi has launched the MIJIA Smart Electric Pressure Cooker 2.5L under crowdfunding. This smart cooker solves the safety problems of traditional pressure cookers that don’t allow the user to keep a tab on the cooking status or the water level inside. The new MIJIA Pressure Cooker comes with 8 safety protections and is also equipped with smart functions.

It can cook with one-click smart recipes activated via the MIJIA app which solves the problem of how to cook certain dishes for people without cooking experience. The product is, thus, easy to use.

The MIJIA Smart Electric Pressure Cooker features a relatively rare 2.5L capacity which is enough to cook eight bowls of rice or meat dishes for three people. Thus, it is suitable for a single person or a small family’s use.

The biggest difference between a pressure cooker and an electric rice cooker is the pressure. The MIJIA Smart Electric Pressure Cooker 2.5L has a peak pressure of 70kPa and can increase the boiling point of water up to 115°C.
