Mink Campers, an Icelandic company, has unveiled the MINK-E all-electric teardrop trailer. The MINK-E comes in a vibrant blue theme and is designed as an oasis of comfort well-suited for camping even in off-grid settings.

The MINK-E is a reimagined trailer and is 13.5ft long. It weighs about 510kg and comes as the Icelandic company’s lightest camper yet. Its aerodynamic teardrop design makes it an ideal companion for electric tow vehicles and it offers minimal drag. The camper is made from ABS plastic and its solid shell structure has 1.2-inch thick walls. The design of the MINK-E makes it to be both sturdy as well as well-insulated. About 25% of the camper’s materials are recyclable and it embodies both sustainability and off-grid living.

The MINK-E has round doors and windows which combine with its large skylight to highlight the beauty of nature. It has a mini kitchen under the tailgate with a 36L ice chest and an induction cooker. This allows the camper to do some cooking while camping. An RV queen-size mattress is in the cabin for ultimate comfort after a long day. A bunk can also be mounted to the walls to serve as a child’s bed or a shelf. The MINK-E is priced at £25,328 (~$30,800) in the UK, Iceland and some other EU markets.
