Xiaomi has unveiled a new children’s school bag under the Mitu (Mi Bunny) brand. The Mitu Children’s School Bag 3, as it is called, is crafted using CP anti-fouling fabric and will be sold on Jingdong (JD.com). It adopts an ultralightweight design suitable for children and has an unloading belt as well as a magnetic suction pocket.

The Jingdong product page details the Mitu Children’s School Bag 3 to feature an optimized and upgraded fabric design. It is also portable, weighing just 725g. The weight reduction is up to 36% compared to the Mitu Children’s School Bag 2. It retains the second-generation three-dimensional EVA backboard + mesh carrying system. However, the combination of the two paddings is optimized to make the design fit the shape of the back, become breathable and offer better cushion effect.

The Mitu schoolbag’s innovative unloading belt makes the hips share the weight of the schoolbag, effectively reducing the stress on the shoulders and back. The waist belt is elastic and easily adjusts according to the body shape in order to maintain comfortability.

The bag also comes with three compartments. There is a book area, a pencil bag area, and an electronic product area. The front main pocket uses magnetic attraction instead of a zipper, making it easy and faster to pick up and keep items kept in the compartment.

The school bag has a starting price of 199 yuan (~$28). The product is presently listed on Jingdong (JD.com) with no indication when it will go on sale.
