After the MIUI 12 announcement last week, the Chinese electronics giant is now working to improve the system stability across multiple devices. It is making MIUI 12 closed beta builds accessible for more and more devices since last week. Moreover, the company started rolling out MIUI 12 Developer builds for 33 Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones in China.

MIUI took to Weibo to officially announce the availability of MIUI 12 Developer builds across 33 models. The list includes:

The MIUI 12 support for Redmi Note 8 Pro is dropped due to bricking issues in China.

These China-based builds are not intended to be used by Global users as these builds lacks Google apps and support for different languages.  However, Xiaomi.EU published MIUI 12 builds for over 28 devices Europe with access to Google apps, more languages, and without Chinese services.

Xiaomi MIUI 12 brings various new features and enhancements like new design animations with real-time light and shadow effects using MIUI Light Cone Motion Effect Architecture. The new layered Dynamic Icons generates real-time feedback based on speed and direction. Other features include a new Control Center instead of quick settings panel, improved navigation gestures, app drawer, live wallpapers, floating windows, enhanced dark mode, Mi Share, and much more. MIUI 12 emphasis the privacy features to secure user data.
