<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The strings for different long exposure shots in MIUI Camera app were spotted by XDA Senior Member </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400">kacskrz </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400">and Telegram user </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400">@Deiki</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400">. According to them, users can select different modes for long exposure shots such as “</span><b>Moving crowd</b><span style="font-weight: 400">”, “</span><b>Light painting</b><span style="font-weight: 400">”, “</span><b>Starry sky</b><span style="font-weight: 400">”, “</span><b>Silky water</b><span style="font-weight: 400">”, “</span><b>Star trails</b><span style="font-weight: 400">”, and “</span><b>Neon Trails</b><span style="font-weight: 400">”.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Since long exposure shots require the phone to be kept steady, the strings also mention using a tripod. That said, it is not sure which Xiaomi/Redmi/POCO smartphones will have support for these modes. <p><span style="font-weight: 400">Now, as per a user </span><b><i>@Deiki</i></b><span style="font-weight: 400"> on </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400">Telegram </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400">(via </span><a href="https://www.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-working-top-shot-like-feature-smartphones-miui-12-mi-camera/"><span style="font-weight: 400">XDA Developers</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">), Xiaomi is working on a feature called “AI Shutter” for MIUI Camera app. The implementation is similar to Google’s Top Shot feature on Pixel smartphones.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The string mentioning this feature was spotted in the MIUI Camera app that came with the latest </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/MIUI-12/"><span style="font-weight: 400">MIUI 12</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> beta build. According to it, the app will recommend the best shot from the series of pictures taken while tapping and holding the shutter button.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">As of now, the “AI Shutter” feature is not live on any Xiaomi/</span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Redmi"><span style="font-weight: 400">Redmi</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> smartphone. We expect the company to make it available to certain devices in the coming days in their respective weekly builds, followed by stable builds.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/MIUI"><span style="font-weight: 400">MIUI </span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">Camera app has a ton of options and modes that cannot be displayed on a single screen. Only last week, the head of Xiaomi Camera revealed the</span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/05/04/xiaomi-reveals-redesigned-icons-of-new-miui-camera-app/"><span style="font-weight: 400"> redesigned icons</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> for them. Now, today, she announced two different gestures to access them easily as they are hidden in the main screen due to space constraint.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The first gesture allows users to access additional options and modes by swiping left from right. This is similar to what we find on Google Camera app. The second gesture, on the other hand, lets users swipe from bottom to top to access them.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">If you ask me, the swiping from bottom feels natural and easy since smartphones released by </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Xiaomi"><span style="font-weight: 400">Xioami </span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">or any other company for that matter are now huge and are hard to reach both sides and top.</span></p>

The first device mentioned in it was the </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi-k30i/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Redmi K30i 5G</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> with a 48MP primary camera instead of 64MP from the standard variant. This handset was suggested to release in late April with 1799 Yuan ($255) price tag.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The device has been now spotted in MIUI Camera app by an XDA Developers’ member going by the name of kacskrz. A string from the app not only confirms the name of the phone but also its 48MP primary camera.</span></p>

This finding once again confirms the new Redmi K30i to feature identical specs and design except for a different primary camera sensor.</span></p>

Now, as MIUI 12 is official, she dropped a new teaser video for the redesigned app revealing all new changes.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">These are the new features that will be included in the new revamped MIIUI Camera app.</span></p>
